Find hotels near Nuea Klong in Krabi, Thailand

This hotel is not easy to locate for drivers who are not familiar with the Nua Klong area. It is actually about 4km from the airport on the same road, coming from Krabi Town. There is a big orange sign that says Palmari Boutique Hotel on the top of the building. It can be easily missed. The interesting thing about this hotel is that the reception area is in a cafe called Palm Garden. The Hotel building is located behind this cafe. So the photo that you see is taken from the back of the Hotel. If you return to the hotel after the cafe is closed, you have to go to the right side of the building and through a side gate to get to the hotel. As for the room, I would say that it is very new, clean and cosy. It looks exactly like what you see in the photos. The bathroom has a rain shower. Wifi connection is good. I enjoyed my stay there. There are local eateries, a wet market, pharmacies, shops selling household items near the hotel. It looks to me that this is a suburb and you get to see the locals' way of life if you take the time to wander around this area. It was an interesting experience for me. I ate at one of the local eateries that sold dimsum and chicken/pork noodle/rice located about 100m down the road from the hotel. The food was delicious and very cheap. This hotel is good for a short stay or stopover if you want a quiet and comfortable place to rest and do not want to travel too far from the airport. If you are into nightlife,it's better for you to stay in Krabi Town. This hotel is 20min' drive away ( 16km ) from Krabi Town. I went out to Town one night and had difficulty getting a Tuk Tuk back to the hotel. When I finally got one at 11-plus, it cost me 300 Baht. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel. Another plus point that they offer free pick-up and send-off to the airport in a private car. You just have to email them to make the arrangement.

Our stay was short but good. It's perfect for those who want to stop by in Krabi for one night and take the next flight on the other day. The room and the pool were clean. The personal was nice and friendly. There's also a local kitchen with local food. Very delicious! For a small amount of money, the personal bought us to the airport. All in all the service was great.

My girlfriend and I stayed here because we were flying out early the next morning. The owners were very nice and tried very hard to help us out with transportation to the airport early in the morning. They do not speak good English and I do not speak Thai, but they were very polite and made it work. The room was nothing special but it had a comfortable bed, a good shower, and air conditioning. I would stay here again if I was flying out early again.
