His Scooters in a Great Condition and clean . But this is his Style , typical German .All is very clean at Ocean Lodge . The Room so so clean . And very nice Decorations . You MUST stay here! ”

Simply put, you MUST stay at Ocean Lodge! After spending much time trying to find a good hotel with good reviews and reasonable price, we decided on Ocean Lodge and thank goodness we did! Firstly, the rooms are IMMACULATELY clean and excellelently maintained from the spotless new bathrooms to the clean fresh linens. But the clean rooms are only second to the level of warmness and hospitality that you will be shown by Diti who owns and runs Ocean Lodge, he is simply one of the best hosts you could ask for any hotel or home stay, whether it be giving you information on where to get a good burger, taking you to dinner for an authentic German meal or booking whatever activity you may have in mind for the island, Didi is THE MAN! I can't imagine that we would stay anywhere else if we came back to Langkawi other than Ocean Lodge. Thank you so much Didi and Goy for making our stay on Langkawi beautiful and unforgettable, we will never forget you or our time at Ocean Lodge

Ocean Lodge has it all!”

We booked only one night to begin with but extended our stay with twelve more nights! Ocean Lodge is with out a doubt worth a ten star rating. If you are considiring to visit Langkawi then OCL is a place you really shouldnt miss. It will give you a totally relaxed stay in new perfect conditioned rooms that are well cleaned for you every day. In the room you also have a small fridge for your use. You will have a perfect location to explore the island from. Ocean Lodge provides you with new, top condition scooters or motorbikes for a reallly good price. We enjoyed a fabolous breakfast each morning that we reallly are going to miss. And what we most of all are going to miss is the hosts of Ocean Lodge, They are the ones who really made our stay memorable. They did take such good care of us, giving us tips for what to do, where to eat and what not to miss. The atmosphere they create makes you really feel at home. We left the Ocean Lodge with two new friends in our life. We will be back som again. We are truly honest when we recommend Ocean Lodge Langkawi as your stay during your visit om the island.

Nice and pleasent place to stay, very comfortable”

Unfortunately we only spent 2 nights on Langkawi and in the Ocean Lodge. Definitly it takes more time to see Langkawi. We booked a Deluxe Room with window, queen size bed, separated bathroom and breakfast. The omelette is very tasty. The hotel opened in November 2014. The room interior as well as the exterior design of the hotel are modern and cosy. Furthermore there is nothing to complain about the cleanliness of the room. Wifi was great and worked always. You need a scooter to get to look at Langkawi. Fortunately the hotel also offers to rent a scooter for small money. The German owner, Didi, is very friendly and absolutly helpful. During our first night we even spent some time with Didi and his neighbours at the hotel bar, which was very interesting and funny. Moreover Didi brought us to the airport on our check-out day. We definitly recomment the Ocean Lodge Langkawi.

Excellent”

This was our second stay at Ocean Lodge, the last time we stayed here were two years ago. It was incredibly cozy to come back and meet Didi and Goy who own and run the place. Ocean Lodge consists of only four rooms with a small bar and restaurant area where breakfast is served. The rooms are bright and nice and are well equipped with good AC and ceiling fans. The bathroom has a shower cubicle with very nice shower. The outside area is tiled and well planted. The breakfast is good and Goy makes a fantastic omelette. There are several good restaurants in the area. They rent scooters for a reasonable price and scooter is almost a must to get around the island. The traffic on the island is also convenient Didi is a wonderful host who provides tips on sights, beaches and restaurants and cafes worth visiting. Being a guest at Ocean Lodge is a pure pleasure. Should we return to Langkawi, we are not in doubt about where we will stay.

Ocean Lodge Lankawi”

I stayed at Ocean Lodge in Langkawi for one week. This is the place I would strongly recommend. Firstly the quality of service from Dietmar and Goy the hosts is absolute outstanding. Dietmarand Goy could not have been more helpful and made every effort to make sure that I felt welcome and relaxed at Ocean Lodge. They recommended places to visit and cafes and restaurants nearby. The room was a good size and spotlessly clean and I slept very well there. The breakfast was simple but very enjoyable. The location is a bit out of the main centre of Cenang town but Ocean Lodge and its, serene shoreside setting made it a different experience from being in the heart of the tourist area. Although secluded there are 3 restaurants within 100 metres of Ocean Lodge, a spa just opposite and a supermarket 10 minutes walk away. One thing to note is that Dietmar hires out scooters and motorcycles and if you don’t fancy that, taxis and Uber are incredibly cheap on Lankawi. I would strongly recommend staying here.

“Cute little homestay with amazing hosts!””

My wife and I had planned a short trip to Lankawi and Kuala Lumpur with the idea of celebrating her birthday, as well as our second honeymoon. The moment we arrived there, we were overwhelmed by the warm and friendly reception by our hosts - Dietmar and Maria, the lovely couple who own the place. The place is spotlessly clean and very well maintained. We had a very comfortable stay. Maria prepares an awesome English breakfast in the morning, which must not be missed! Dietmar has a range of scooters and bikes available for hire, which he maintains in great condition given his passion for bikes. A bike is a must-have in Langkawi, if you are looking to cut transportation costs (cabs are quite expensive) and cover long stretches within the island. I have fallen in love with Langkawi as a holiday destination - it definitely demands a second visit. Whenever I do, we'll make sure to book our stay at Ocean Lodge. Extremely affordable, great value for money, highly recommended.

Wonderful place”

Being my third visit probably tells it all, but let me put some more words on my experience. Firstly the location, Ocean Lodge Is located very quietly between Cenang and Telaga Harbor. This means you easily can access some of the main attractions on Langkawi, either by scooter or by car. The place itself is extremely nice and clean, which includes rooms and bathroom. The owner Dietmar and his partner Goy are really helpful hosts. They have an endless amount of recommendations for day trips, restaurants and so on. They’re always ready to help and assist. The breakfast is quite simple, but I love it. Goys omelet is so delicious. I definitely would recommend Ocean Lodge for everyone who visits Langkawi.

2 time at Ocean Lodge, 2 time awesome!”

This was my second time at Ocean Lodge and I would say that shortly will be the 3 one:) The location is great and is close to all major attractions of a wonderful Langkawi and is relaxing and quite. The hosts Didi and Goy do a great job to make your stay precious. All rooms are well equiped with what you need and more (high speed wifi, AC, fridge, fan, TV, and vey comfortable bed which is nicely decorated by Goy) as well as well maintaned and clean. Additionally I should say again that the breakfast offered is delicious and is special prepared for you at your convinience. A special thank you for the hosts for their advice on attractions and restaurants and bars to vistit that are truly have their own atmotphere and delicious food. I strongly recommend Ocean Lodge for tourists that are looking for relaxing stay with good place and amazing hosts Didi and Goy. Hope you be there soon again!

Ocean Lodge is located slightly down from the main road between the harbor towards the airport which is approximately 10 min drive away. Ocean Lodge is a quiet and calm small home stray with four rooms where the owner, Didi, who is German living on the second floor. Ocean Loge is new, very well organized, nice and clean. The room is just the right size for two people, has a fridge, kettle, TV, AC, large ceiling fan and enough closets and tables and chairs to place luggage. The room is nicely decorated. Good lighting and enough elplugs. Free WiFi that works well. The bathroom is big enough and nice tiled with shower and hot water. Chairs on the outside. The outside area is tiled throughout and very nicely. A small outdoor bar where also breakfast is served, they serve a wonderful omelet for breakfast. They has scooter for rental, and it is very nice traffic and good roads on the island, so it is easy to drive scooter here, just have to be aware of monkeys. The owner , Didi, is incredibly helpful, attentive and pleasant. He tells about the island and offer suggestions where to go on excursion or to eat. It is simply a pleasure to be a guest at Ocean Lodge "which I can heartily recommend. It is very good value for money.

Exceptional”

I've atayd at Ocean Lodge for 3 nights and I really enjoyed my stay there. Firstly, I would mention hostitality of the ownwrs Didi and Goy. Their attitude to the guest is awsome and I felt that I stayed not some were in Langkawi but feilt like I'm staying with my good old frinds! Very relaxing atmothere. Secondly the place. Its very tidy and clean, location is perfect as it's between major attractions in Lagngkawi. Also it's possible to rent a motorbike whisch condition is perfect to ride aroun the island. Didi the owner will provide a good knowledge and advice about the attractions of Langkawi. As for breakfast, it's simple, but I assure u that the omlet done by Goy is the best one I ever tried. Close to the hotel is 3 nice restaurant with seafood , Thai or Malay options. I strongly reccomend this place for a pleasant stay.

A small piece of heaven”

I just love this place. It's clean quite and has the most lovely and friendly hosts. Dietmar and Goy will walk that extra mile for their guests. For us Ocean Lodge is located a perfect place on Langkawi where it's easy to go around the island on the scooter you rent directly at Ocean Lodge. Dietmar has lots of insights that he happily will share wether is a beach restaurant or a bar that you seek. When I come back to Langkawi I wouldn't hesitate in booking Ocean Lodge again.

Great stay in Langkawi”

My Wife and I had a fantastic stay in Langkawi thanks to Dietman. The rooms where exceptionally clean, the shower is good and it also had a nice bar. He was a great host and takes a lot of pride in what he does. He was very welcoming from the start but also did not over bare us with holiday packages that most places do. If there is any problems (which we did not have) he is very approachable and quick to deal with them. We spent 4 fantastic nights. I will definitely come back. I would definitely recommend ocean lodge to anyone going to langkawi.

The best place in Langkawi”

We have spent 3 nights at Ocean Lodge in December. We were very satisfied, it was just the place we wished for our stay! Motorbike is available for rental, in perfect condition, which makes you mobile and you can reach top attractions within a few minutes - Langkawi cable car, Cenang beach if you miss the crowd :-) Pantai Kok beach is also just a few mins drive. The lodge is completely new, rooms are kept very clean and are nicely decorated. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We really recommend this place for your stay at Langkawi!!

Amazing Peaceful paradise ”

We have just returned from a 16 day trip to Malaysia and during this trip we had a wonderful 9 nights at the Ocean Lodge with amazing hosts Didi and Goy. The location was amazing for us it was in a lovely quiet area with lots of restaurants within walking distance from here. We had a beautiful room which was decorated on arrival with a nice bathroom with a lovely rain shower, it was kept immaculately clean by Goy even though we made a mess every day, the room had a fridge, kettle, TV, air con and a fan with great WiFi which was really useful as we sat outside with either a cup of tea or a cold beer in the lovely garden. We both had some really great nights sleep here as the location was in an amazingly quiet location, this helped us as we had some really busy days. The breakfast was cooked by Goy every morning and she produced an amazing omelette, but we also had scrambled eggs and toast on other days and these were also nice. Didi who is the owner of Ocean Lodge is a great host and his hospitality and his endless list of recommendations and ideas helped make this a wonderful stay is was more like staying with a friend than being in a hotel. luckily for us Didi had a bike rental business as well and we were able to hire a bike for the whole holiday and they were kept in immaculate condition which is a bonus and his tips on where to go were invaluable All in all what you get for this place represents excellent value for money and having Didi available with daily help and advice made this a trip to remember, we will definitely come back again to stay here.

Best place to visit Langkawi”

We have spent 5 memorable days of our honeymoon at the Ocean Lodge, Goy and Didi surprised us with flower ornaments in our room. The room was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Our hosts were really friendly, so it was easy make ourselves at home at their place. We have enjoyed the delicious breakfasts prepared by Goy, while Didi supplied us with advices and ideas what to visit on the island. I really recommend to trust yourself on his advices, as he is eagerly seeking for the best opportunities on Langkawi which he can recommend to his guests. Didi also rents scooters for the house guests, which is the most comfortable option to discover the island. We were really satisfied with the scooter we had. The room is equiped with AC, ceiling fan and a big bathroom. Towels are also provided. The wireless internet connection worked seamlessly. The place is located in a quiet side street, so resting on the hammocks in the small garden house is really relaxing.

It's like coming home!”

What a revelation: after visiting several large and luxurious hotels within Malaysia, the Ocean Lodge was like coming home. A small and nicely located hotel with staff that has a big hearth. I’ve never seen such nice, helpful and passionate people. During our stay they've helped us to visit all the hot spots in Langkawi, managed to arrange taxis and made reservation for some good restaurants. A highly recommended hotel that I would definitely visit again if I would stay in Langkawi.

Great place to stay”

We stayed for 6 nights and loved the place. Location is good and ideal for getting around the island and exploring. They have their own scooters & motorbikes for rent at a good price and in good condition - and the traffic on Langkawi is not bad at all. Rooms were cleaned daily and the whole place is very tidy and nice. The owners who live on site are very friendly and did everything to make our stay very comfortable. Overall I highly recommend Ocean Lodge.

Perfect Stay”

Ocean Lodge is a little haven that leaves you wanting no more... Didi and Goy (the owners) are lovely people and perfect hosts, staying here was like staying with family members because their personal touch is present in everything; from the awesome omelette served for breakfast to the advice on what to do and see on the island. The rooms were immaculately clean and in perfect working order - even a lovely towel art piece was in place on the bed for our arrival. You can also hire scooters/motos from the lodge at a very cheap price. The location isn't right in the center of the busy town - so if you're after that look elsewhere, but if you want peace, tranquility, a warm atmosphere and easy access to lot of the good parts of the island - then absolutely stay here, you won't regret it. I really can't say enough good things about this place. Thank you for your hospitality, Kieran p.s. there's only 4 double rooms, so it will never be crowded or lose its appeal.

Very nice and well maintained place. The location is far from the busy area of Langkawi so you will have a very good night sleep. Stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience with Ocean Lodge. The owner Didi is very friendly and accommodating. He really helped me on how to get around the island and what are the places of interest. Will surely stay at this place when I go back to Langkawi.
