The staff really helpful. The breakfast was good. Good location although a bit far from long beach. Need to hike a little bit around 10 min from coral bay. The room is spacious. The bathroom very clean. Need to bring your aminities since hotel only provided with bath soap. Have cloth hanger to dry your clothes. They drop off the passenger on the jetty, no need to worry about your clothes wet or not.

Séjour parfait”

Everything was perfect at the Ombak Resort. The staff is always smiling and available. The 2 snorkeling outings went very well. The breakfast buffet is very well provided, there is something for everyone. The screening of a film every night is nice, and if it bothers us there are other quiet places on the beach. The "bad" scores due to the almost total absence of wifi is not justified. If you need to connect, the reception is there to meet your needs (check-in online for flights, printing boarding passes, booking boat return...). We are on the Perhentian Islands, being cut off from the world is delicious-looking. Thank you Ombak!

Comfortable Stay & Friendly Staff”

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. Loved chilling at their ‘cafe’ lounge especially after diving. We did our open water course and their dive centre took care of us really well. Their food & drinks were really decent although on the expensive side but it was worth it as we were too tired to go anywhere else. Had a good range of food from western to local. All their staff including kitchen, cafe & reception were really friendly and accommodating. Breakfast surprised me the most as it was a proper breakfast with an egg station, along with fruits, fresh bread, hot coffee & tea. Not what you would expect and in a smaller resort. The room was comfortable and their toilets were clean. The only comment I would make is the food service takes really long but this is usually what you would expect on an island. Overall we would definitely come back here purely to stay & dive!

Convenient location, pleasant experience”

Ombak is easy to get to from the jetty, easy access to the beach, restaurants and diving. The room itself is clean and comfortable, a variety of options at buffet breakfast and the staff are all very friendly. The full price is not the most economical but with Agoda deals, it is good value for money.

Awesome stay ”

It was an awesome stay and affordable. Comfy bed, strong water pressure and functioning water heater, chilled air cond, friendly and helpful front office staff, restaurant and dive centre crew. The room may get hot and humid at times due to the heat from engine/generator. However this was manageable and I did close the hole underneath the door using floor mat to avoid heat from getting into the room. In overall, I love the stay at Ombak Dive and I will definitely come again.

Great location, great staff! ”

A Perhentian islands are great destinations for diving and snorkeling, which we enjoy. The staff at Ombak are there to assist...the restaurant has a great menu, and good selection of nightly movies at 7:30. Ombak’s location is a walking distance from the Jeti, and a 15 minute walk to Long Beach. We enjoyed just snorkeling to the left of the Jeti and the very right side of Coral Bay...Enjoy!

Their staffs friendliness are applaudable. They accommodate to our needs and ever ready to assist us any way. The landscape of the resort are beautiful. Even before our arrival, their staff constantly call us to check us where about and even offered to arrange the boat and parking for us. Their service is so warmth and nice. Even better than most 5 stars hotel. This resort is highly recommended for every travelers.

ISLAND IS CLOSE BUT LOVE THE RESORT”

I went there during the island is closed for visiting. The room is great and the staff is friendly. The meal is absolutely delicious and the resort is just right in front of the jetty, So, you won't walk too far. If you want a much better beach, go to the other side of the Island (Long Beach). Nearby have a sundry shop, under and bars as well as a dive centre. Good location.
