Great Location, Good Business Center”

i spent three nights at the Sokos Hotel Vantaa because it was close to public transportation and Helsinki. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was set up for business meetings as well as a clean, safe place for tourists. The restaurant had great food as did the breakfast buffet.

Good value for money”

this hotel is clean, tidy and comfortable. it is near the airport and has convenient access to the city. I stayed in Finland for one day due to transit purpose and this hotel is optimal for my short stay as I had to head for the airport on the next day. To my understanding, you can get to the city within 20 mins.

Four star hotel with unwanted four star disco”

After arrival by plane arrived 14.15 at the hotel. Unable to check in, since check in time was 15.00 hrs. No problem, but..... a Fin, who arrived after me a little while ago, was able to check in. After my comment that I was not very pleased to see this, I was also able to check in before 15.00 hrs! Unbelievable! Than, as a bonus, the wrong room type was given. No according to the reservation. Instead of simply saying sorry and and to give the booked room type, they started discussion. Even when I showed my voucher, they continued discussing! I had to stress that it was unacceptable, before I got the right room type! This was fine. The second night however it was very noisy because of loud live music from the disco. When it continued the night after and even louder, I had to complain as sleeping was impossible. In the middele of the night, 01.30 am (music was still there!)and after several tlelephone calls to the recetion, I had to ask for the duty manager to move -again!- to an other room, which was quiet. This was literally a nightmare! It is unbelevable that they give rooms on the loud site of the hotel to normal hotel guests!

Sokos Vantaa Hotel”

Das Hotel lässt erkennen, dass es vor einigen Jahren einmal den Zustand hatte wie es heute angepriesen wird. Aber leider ist es momentan dringend renovierungsbedürftig und heruntergekommen. In die Innenstadt von Helsinki kommt man per Bus/Zug. Das Personal ist freundlich und bemüht.

ik had geboekt voor 5 dagen en een week bijgeboekt. In het weekend word het hotel DE uitgaansgelegenheid van het stadje. Luchthaven met bus 61 te bereiken en helsinki met de trein, beide naast het hotel. Een paar lekkere restaurants(Thai/Chinees/Mexicaans) in de directe omgeving en spaans in het hotel.

Very nice hotel. Almost on the platform of the Tikkurila railway station, with good connection to Helsinki, Tampere, Lahti, St. Petersburg etc. Very easy and good direct local buss connection to the airport. Located next to the Heureka museum. Nice restaurants, shopping etc. on walking distance. Excellent breakfast.

3. krs ei ole paras mahdollinen. Musiikin "jytke" kuului huoneeseen pitkälle aamu yöhön saakka. Muuten ok. Varhainen aamupala klo 6 oli aika niukka.

Odotin, että huoneessa olisi ollut minibaari. Läheisen rakennustyömaan äänet alkoivat kuulua jo klo. 6.00 aamulla.

Saapuessa alkuillasta hiukan jonotusta,koska hotellilla ilmeisesti jokin konserttitapahtuma, jonne tulossa vieraita. Palvelu oli sujuvaa ja palveluista kerrottiin kattavasti. Konsertti hieman häiritsi yöllä, mutta ei liiaksi.Ainoa harmillinen puoli oli, että viikonloppuna aamiainen alkoi kovin myöhään, joten sitä en voinut käyttää aamulentoni takia (kentällä klo 8) Tarjolla oli kyllä kahvia,teetä ja leipää..mutta kovin niukkahan se on normaaliin verrattuna. Aamiainen voisi kyllä olla samaan aikaan joka päivä. Plussaa sijainnista ja helposta yhteydestä lentokentälle.

Hotellin sijainti oli hyvä. Lentokentältä oli hyvä bussiyhteys suoraan hotelliin.Hotelli oli siisti. Huoneet ihan ok, tosin pienehköt.Palvelu asiallista. Aamiainen oli erinomainen.Sevilla ravintola oli parasta.Ruokalista mielenkiintoinen ja ruoka erittäin hyvää.Pöytävaraus olisi ollut hyvä tehdä etukäteen.Olisi hyvä jos siitä olisi maininta hotellia varatessa.Hotellin iltaohjema tarjonta oli hyvä.

Great location ”

OK, nice restaurants to have a meal, nightlife for everyone. Very reasonable prices to stay. Staff was nice, their performance OK aswell. Clean rooms. Sauna department is very good. Capital city Helsinki is easy to reach by train, Airport Helsinki - Vantaa too. This means short distance to amusement park Linnanmaki and the Zoo Korkeasaari. Recommended to families with kids.

Vastasi kaikin puolin majoitus- ja illanviettopaik”

Hotelliin oli helppo saapua Tikkurilan rautatieasemalta ja seuraavana aamuna jatkoyhteys paikallisjunalla kaupunkiin oli nopea. Vastaanotto oli luonnollisen ystävällinen ja huone suihkuinee siisti sekä hyvin ääneneristetty, joten häiriötekijöitä ei ollut. Ravintoloissa oli illanviettomahdollisuuksia sekä tanssin, että karaoken merkeissä. Lähtö ja kirjautuminen hotellista sujui nopeasti, mutkattomasti ja ystävällisen hyvän päivän toivotuksen kera.

Asiat sujuivat mutkattomasti tällä kertaa. Olen yöpynyt aikaisemmin kerran ja silloin kaikki: vastaanotto, huoneen saanti( saimme huonee vasta 3.15pm) ja huoneen laatu takkuili. Huono ravintola hotellin yhteydessä. Huonohko aamiainen.

Huono vastaanotto. Saimme huoneemme vasta 3.15pm erittäin tylyn kohtelun kera. Huono aamiainen.Pölyistä. Huoneen varustustaso ok, mutta kylpyhuoneessa ei mitään toilettitarvikkeita.
