Cozy and convinient stay at reasonable price!”

It was my first time visiting Japan and I kinda worried about the hotel a bit for safty issues. But when I got there, I found it so much safer and convenience than I thought and I enjoyed staying there quite so much. I hereby deliver my thankfulness to all the staffs, especially ladies on night shift at the reception! :) They keep the rooms neat and tidy and the Standard Room features a private lavatory w/ shower booth. It was not spacious but still great for its prices and I would not complain anything. The location was convenient and you can go anywhere in Osaka from the hotel. Restaurants and convenient stores are everywhere on the street and no worry to starve at all. If you’re dreaming a fancy and luxurious accommodation with cutting edge techs, this is not a place for you and I recommend you to book Hilton or InterCon. But if you’re a free independent traveler on a low budget and you’re more focusing on discover Osaka on your own, Osaka Ebisu Hotel should be your choice!

Exceptional”

We would defintely recommend Osaka Ebisu Hotel to our relatives and friends. Great location. Easy to find. I like Ebisu because it is near the train stations.... few walks. The area is situated near the famous Tsutenkatsu Tower (tourist spot). If you will be craving for midnight snacks its near 7 11. Lawsson all you have to do is cross the street. The hotel is surrounded by a lot of good restaurants. If you would like to do shopping it is also near Don Quijote. Its tax free. All you need name it you can find. The staff are very accomodating. The time we arrived there was no hassle. They are very courteous and always smiling. You can ask them for clear directions. The double bed we got is just about righr for couple. We got clean beddings everday. The place is very clean and tidy. We love it!!!! Defintely we will be back with the family.

A very enjoyable stay”

My family and I stayed in this hotel for a week. We loved it's proximity to all we need. We are near restaurants, train stations, tourist spots, groceries, convenience stores, everything. The staff is very nice and accomodating. If there are any requests, they would do everything to provide what you need. This hotel is also located in one of the places tourist go to, Shinsekai. The price we paid for was really worth it. Even our friends were surprised on how affordable the price of our hotel were. We truly enjoyed our stay in Osaka. We hope to come back here in the near future. Thanks to all the staff of Osaka Ebisu Hotel.😊

It was a great experience for us”

It was our second week in Japan when we stayed at Osaka Ebisu and I had clothes to wash. Good thing they had a coin laundry I dont have to go out! Our room was cleaned daily and we were provided toiletries. Things to improve are the smell of the corridor. I know Osaka is the kitchen of Japan but your corridor doesn't have to smell like one. Also, the toilet doesnt have bidet. The temperature of the water is not consistent. Sometimes it ran out of hot water! Inspite of all this, we had a great stay because it is near Ebisucho station which is a station away from Dotonbori. Also, they provided a free phone with data that we can use.

Safe accommodation for travelling young adults....”

Safe accommodation location for my 2 young nieces as it is near the train station. The staff were accommodating and helpful. Regular housekeeping done and they have complete facilities. Umbrellas were provided for use of guests as it was raining during that time. They were allowed to use the shared shower room even after they checked out (6 hours) when they picked up their luggage on the way to the airport. Thanks to the staff of Osaka Ebisu.....

Osaka and Kyoto Adventure ”

Have seen enough of Tokyo, we decided to visit Osaka and Kyoto and see the historical and cultural sides of Japan. We stayed at Osaka Ebisu Hotel and found out that it's very close to Tsutentaku Tower and Shinsekai area where you can find the various food stalls where you can find delicious local foods. The hotel is okay for your usual Asians but for a Westerner, you will find the hotel cramped, especially the bathroom. However, if you're just going to use the room resting after your visits to the diplaces in Osaka and Tokyo, it's a good place to stay. The train station is nearby, no need to take a cab from the airport since train service is available. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and can help you with your questions. The room is provided with Handy, a gadget that will help you find your way in Osaka and even Kyoto. The room comes with free wi-fi and your usual amenities. The room is cleaned everyday and sheets and towels replaced daily.

Great location, helpful staff”

Other reviews are right about this hotel, the location is perfect. It is right at Ebisucho Station in Shinsekai, but also a 10 minute walk from Dobotsuen-Mae Station and Shin-Imamiya Station (Nankai-Airport line) , making this easy to get to from Osaka Airport. The room was larger than a standard Japanese hotel, but the bathroom was tinier than most Japanese bathrooms. I was fine with it but others who need a larger bathroom might have trouble. The beds were also extremely hard. If you like hard beds, this is paradise, otherwise you will toss and turn all night like me. The staff speaks a bunch of languages, are very friendly and helpful. Overall, I'd consider coming here again!

Good location for foodtripping”

The hotel is close to most foodtripping spots such as namba, dotonbori and Shinsekai sohonten. Staffs were very accommodating and most of them can understand English. Our room was a small ryokan but it was clean. Their guides were translated very well in English. The most impressive part was they have a smartphone placed in your room that you can take out. You can use its data to check the internet, post photos on your social media accounts and call other rooms of the hotel. It became a hassle free travel for us.

Everything about this hotel was perfect! The hotel was near the station. It has many restaurants around it, we had many options on where to eat. Staff are very friendly, and can also speak in English. We booked a Japanese Room, so we could really feel the Japanese culture. 😂😂 There were no problems with facilities, and the room was clean. They replace towels everyday. When we had a problem on our Mobile Charger (240v), they lent us with 100v charger (compatible in Japan) for free! Also, when we wanted to extend another night, they suggest to directly book at their hotel instead of booking at Agoda website. They gave us a discount, that was P1000.00 off comparing to what Agoda offers. Again, I would like to thank you for giving us a convenient stay! I will definitely book here again when I come back to osaka. :)

Great Location , Friendly Staff”

+ Near Train station, access to downtown or uptown easily Around 50 m. From Station. You can access to Namba by subway or to Sumiyoshi Taisha by tram directly. + Good spot! A lot of food around here. Due to the it located in Shinseikai. You can find a lot of restaurant here. +Staffs are polite and friendly You can hear the greeting everytime when you pass the lobby. The scale weight also availiable for use. - Cleanliness We stay in Japanese room. A lot of dust in Futon in the first day. -Small Bathroom The bathroom is quite small but acceptable for it's price. - No Shower or Toilet in Lobby. If you come to Osaka by nightbus or Night flight.There is no public toilet or shower for you to refresh yourself before go sightseeing the town.

Awesome hotel”

Great place , great staff and great location. The hotel very close subway, easy to find and drop off Ebisucho station Exit3 only. From KIX airport you can take Nankai railway drop off at Teganchaya (k20) for change line to Ebisucho station (k18). When you early arrive before 3pm(time for check-in) you could leave your luggage at hotel. The staff can speak English and ready for help the tourist all the time, They’re very polite. Love them. The hotel near Tsutenkaku tower and Shinsekai area. It was the best zone for the traveller who love quite place. The hotel was very clean and new. This is the hotel that I’ll suggest for other people. I hope next time when I come over Osaka again, this is no.1 hotel that I choose stay.

Terrible bed”

The Osaka Ebisu hotel is in an accessible location with easy access to the JR Line and subway. Immediately outside the hotel is a dingy shopping and restaurant area that seems well past its prime. The room is small, but clean and functional. However, the bed was extremely uncomfortable - the mattress far too firm and the bed frame horrifically creaky. Soundproofing is also poor; we could hear every room door opening and closing through the hallway. We were meant to stay two nights, but we checked out after one night because the bed was that uncomfortable. On the bright side, the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful! If budget and location are your only criteria, then this hotel can be recommended. However, if you value proper sleep, stay away.

Great hotel”

This hotel is just a few meters away from Ebisucho station. Its location is great especially if you want to have hotel near the train station and some tourist spot area (Tsutenkaku Tower, Tower Knives Osaka, Shinsekai). The staff were great! We got the Twin Japanese Room (Not smoking). The tatami was great. The room also has its own bathroom. I like the way the room is, minimalistic design but super comfortable.

Outstanding service, Excellent location”

We booked the special room and it was big for 5 adults and 1 baby. The service is very nice - they change towels everyday, front desk speaks good english, very welcoming and helpful. They offer luggage storage for free. The hotel is located less than a minute away from Ebisucho station exit 3. A lot of food choices nearby. There were also family mart and lawson. We loved eating at matsuya and yoshinoya, near denden town.. We enjoyed our stay. Will definitely book again when I come back to Osaka. Thank you so much!

Budget Hotel / Great Location ”

- The location is superb, just 100 m from Ebisucho station (Exit3) situated around Shinsekai area and within walking distance to Namba. However, it's quite difficult to move with your big suitcases while heading out of the hotel as an elevator is located at exit 1B which is about 2 blocks away (heading to the hotel is ok as you can use the escalator and continue to an elevator afterwards). - The room stank a bit (probably from tatamis) but fixed after open an ventilator. I also found some dust at a sink. The room size was ok given Japanese standard but the bathroom was quite small with no Japanese style toilet. - The Japanese futon was really comfortable. I had good sleep during my stay. Though, the soundproof was not good. - The staffs were friendly and welcoming. - The WiFi was very fast and reliable. All in all, the hotel is quite a mix between a hotel and an apartment. If you are looking for a budget hotel, I recommend this one.

Strategic Location, Friendly Staff & Warmth Hospitality”

The location of the hotel was indeed very strategic as it is situated in Shin-sekai itself and it only takes a 3 minute walk to the nearest MRT station and also the Tsutenkaku Tower. The staffs are very friendly and welcomes you every time you enter or leave the hotel. If you’re an Anime fan and a food lover, this hotel totally recommended as it only takes a 9 minute walk to the Osaka Den Den town, which sells a wide range of anime related goods, whatever you can think of, it is all there. Moreover, if you happen to be a food lover, the Kuromon Ichiba Market is just a 5 minutes journey from the nearest MRT station. So feel free to go and experience all the fresh seafood there and you’d wish you wanted more.

Clean and with your basic needs met”

the shower room was smaller than what I'm used to but other than that the room had your basic needs met along with a water boiler, where they also gave you free tea every morning. The room was spotless and comfortable. The two trains near us was perfect distance for us to walk to get to where we needed. I highly recommend this very affordable hotel for your stay in Osaka.

Superb Hotel Experience”

The hotel is near from train stations- about 2-min walk from Ebisucho station and 5 to 10-min walk from Shin-Imamiya station which makes it easy for us to tour around Osaka. More than the transportation accessibility, it's the kindness of the staff that gives us homey feeling. They even allowed us to leave our luggage first after check-out so we could shop before our flight. Thumbs up for that! I'd definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you so much!

Great Stay!”

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is great, near subway and train stations although we walked most places as it's pretty central. The staff are so friendly and helpful, anything you need they will sort for you with a smile. We chose a traditional Japanese futon room which was great - be aware that the rooms and bathrooms are small, we didn't mind this at all and had plenty of space for the 2 of us. Definitely recommend this hotel as somewhere to make you feel welcome as you explore Osaka.
