Excellent business hotel - easy to access”

The Osaka Marriott Miyako hotel is beautifully located in downtown Osaka, right next to the Tennoji station and above the Osaka-Abenobashi underground station. From Kansai airport arrivals, take the escalator to 2/F and walk over the pedestrian bridge to the JR station. I bought a train ticket to town for $12. Could have taken the express train for $25 but the regular train left first so I took it. You walk out of the JR ticket office and directly opposite take an escalator down to the platform. Arrived Tennoji about 40 minutes later. Exit on south side, cross the street for G/F entrance to Marriott. Lobby is on 19th Floor. Going back out to Kansai airport I took hotel arranged taxi for ¥11,000 or $100. 45 mins to airport. The hotel itself is modern and nicely designed. Beautiful western restaurant on 57th floor with a superb pasta. Fantastic views of Osaka, as the Miyako Tower is the highest building in Osaka. Separately an excellent Teppanyaki Restaurant on the same floor. Also excellent. One issue - for socialising the 19/F hotel lobby bar is a bit quiet, although the bar staff are very good. I tried the Hibiki whisky and the Kraken rum. The room rates are very reasonable and the room cleaning staff were very diligent. Concierge lady was excellent. Be aware most taxis cannot find the street entrance. The correct taxi stand is 100m up the street from the G/f entrance.

Best of the Best”

We have been stayed at Marriott around the world for many times! Osaka Marriott Miyako locates is 5 mins walk from JR Tennoji Station(which you can take HARUKA train from Kansai Aiport). It is easy to travel Kyōto and Nara by JR and Osaka City by Metro train. Shopping malls around the hotel which made shopping easier. The view from our room on 54F is stunning! You can sleep well as it is quiet at night. The only issue for our stay this time was one of our luggage is broken so we cannot open it (we stored the lagguage at the hotel and found it was broken when we checked in and collect the luggage). And we have to buy a new one. Generally I strongly recommend Marriott to you!

Excellent hotel with a view of the city of Osaka”

My most enjoyable trip to Osaka in staying with this hotel. Great location and ease of transportation from here to places of interest. The KIX airport bus take you directly to this hotel in 55 mins and costing only 1000 Yen one way per pax. This service is especially convenient when returning to the airport with all your extra bags. This also the tallest bldg in Osaka houses the most moden and biggest departmental mall. All in all Osaka Marriott Miyako Hotel has all what a business or tourist travelers need when they travel i.e clean comforting room with good services, excellent location for shopping,sighteing and dinning.

Can't forget the view from the room - spectacular!”

We are a family travelling with 4 young children. We got the twin rooms with breakfast for 6 nights. The breakfast was exceptionally good quality, the view from the restaurant was breathtaking, highly recommended. Lobby on 19th floor, shopping and restaurants directly below, guestrooms above. Day and night views from the rooms was spectacular. Comfort and convenience was our priority. Osaka Marriott Miyako Hotel did not disappoint, in fact, it was beyond what we expected.

Staff are very nice and professional. The local food and restaurants they recommend are so good and very worth to try it. The room is modern and clean. The view is so wonderful. The location is great. You may not only could easily get to other places in Osaka, you could also get to Kyoto within an hour ride. This is our second time for staying Osaka Marriott Miyako Hotel and we will for sure come back for our next trip to Osaka.

Great view, Convenient location”

- Nice view in room and Harukas 300 observatory, especially night view. The hotel provide free ticket to the observatory before opening hours for each hotel guest. - Direct access to Tennoji station (Subway, JR) and some other private railways. Tennoji station can be reached by taking the elevator to B1/F without the need of walking outdoors. Can reach Kansai international airport within 30minutes by taking the express train. It takes around 15minutes to reach Umeda/Osaka station by taking subway. - The Kinetsu department store is directly in the same building which is very convenient. Mio and Q's mall are also easily accessible by using the foot bridge which connect all these places.

Beautiful hotel with a great view of the city”

Highly recommended if you stay in Osaka. You can enjoy an incredible view of the city, the room is beautiful (with Thann amenities as an extra value) and the staff extremely helpful. The hotel is quite new, so my taxi driver from Osaka Station didn't knew it and he dropped me at the "Miyako Hotel" - which, luckily, is just next door.

Very Beautiful with paranamic view”

Very easy to get here from the airport via JR to Tennoji Station.. across the road through the subway station you can find the hotel... the glass lifts to the hotel lobby is amazing... with breath taking views... even the feeling before you reach your room has a feel good moment.. after a tiring plane trip to Osaka. Well greeted by the staff.. We stayed at level 57 which was very high.... the whole surrounding was beautiful... the only dissapointing thing was we booking a twin bed instead of a queen bed as you can't push it together to form 1 big bed like most hotels. But the room size is ok not super big but enough and comfortable. A must stay if coming to Osaka 10/10

Honest and efficient staff”

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights upon arrival at Osaka and then returned for another two nights after my visit to Kyoto. We discovered that we left a usb adapter in my room after we left for kyoto and when we returned again, we asked if the housekeeping saw the adapter two nights ago. We were not expecting to be able to get back the adapter. To our surprise, they returned the adapter! They placed it in our room, accompanied with a letter to let us know they have found it on the same day we asked for it! On the same day, I also found one of my earrings neatly placed on a dry and clean tissue paper in the bathroom where I must have dropped it. I am impressed with the honesty and efficiency of the staff here. Thanks Mariott Miyako for making this stay a very pleasant one.

Very Decent Hotel with Great location and service”

We have just been there for 3 nights since 24 April and we stayed in a Junior suite. The hotel view is magnificent and decoration is very decent. The hotel lobby is located on 19/F and can give you a high end hotel feeling with great view over the whole Osaka City. The restaurant on 57/F, ZK, offered very good dishes and nice environment and scenic view, but for sure, it is very costly too. Afterall, the room quality and service, the overall design and setting are all world class with the moderate room charge only. The location is very nice as it is in one of the major terminus of JR between airport and major cities and location in Osaka or Kansai cycle. On top of it, there are around 3 to 4 major shopping mall just below the hotel, so, it is very convenient for purchasing any kind of goods for souvenir or own interest. The only draw back is that this is not a hotel designed for kids and pure relaxation, so, there is no kids room and I don't think the swimming pool is very attractive at all. However, I am sure I will visit and stay in this hotel again next time I come to Osaka.

This is as close to home as it gets in Japan!”

I travelled to Japan for 2 weeks for business during which time I stayed at the Marriott for 1 week in and out. As great as Japanese service and hotels are, even after staying in a high end Ryokan and being pampered, I felt like I cam home everytime I went back to this hotel. Its just everything from the staff, the comfortable beds, the location,etc. that makes all the difference. Highly recommend this place! Dont forget to check out the view from pretty much any floor or the observatory since this is the tallest building in Osaka.

Great view, wonderful location and huge room”

My husband and I stayed in a double room on the 51st floor and it was amazing. The room is incredibly spacious, had a comfy king-sized bed, floor to ceiling windows to see the city skyline, amazing bathroom with a separate tub and shower (also had a separate water closet where the toilet was)... it was all very stunning. The carpet did have a few light stains on it, but it didn't bother us too much - we wore the slippers provided in the room. Breakfast was included in our stay and we found the buffet selection to be quite nice - equal options for a Western or Asian-styled breakfast. It was appreciated that breakfast was open until 10am as many other Japanese hotels only have breakfast until 9 or 9:30am, which is difficult for vacation-goers who want to sleep in or those who are dealing with jet lag. Location is great - right at Abenobashi Station, and also across the street from Tennoji Station. Overall, staff were friendly and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The hotel is connected to Tennoji station, downstairs in the now highest building of Japan with an incredible view day and night, is a big departmentstore and a great food court with many good restaurants! The surrounding area is nice with the oldest temple in Osaka (Shintennoji shrine) and the nice Osaka Zoo in a big park which is worth a visit (nocturnal animals and Koala bears).

It is exetremely good experience to stay in Marriott Osaka. I had never stay in a superb hotel with a reasonable price!!!!!!! I will choose Marriott to stay again in the coming Osaka trip

Top notch facilities with 5 stars experience”

Travelled with my wife and 2 kids (7yrs and 1yr old). The location of this hotel is very convenient as it's connected to Tennoji JR and subway station. The hotel appears to be very new and is very luxurious. The staff is extremely friendly and always ready to help, we were always greeted with smile. The hotel rooms start at level 39 on the Abeno Harukas building. We booked a twin room with high floor and was assigned to a room at level 51. The room has full height window with the city view. It was stunning at night, priceless!

Convenient but not easy to locate at first ”

As the hotel is right above the station, took some time to figure our way to hotel. The signage was not clear enough. Navigated our way correctly after visiting the hotel website on ‘access by train’. Staff were very friendly and polite. Very nice view we had from room and fell in love with this hotel. Stayed in premium corner king room and the room was very spacious. No problem having 2 big luggage opened at the same time. Will definitely stay at Marriott again in future.

Home away from home”

Super nice i cant ask for more! Definitely i will book in this hotel on my next visit in japan. Whether it is in tokyo or osaka i think jw marriott will be my prefer hotel to stay in.
