Good hotel in excellent location”

The Oxford Hotel is located right next to Bras Basah MRT which makes most of Singapore quite easy to access but even better, there is a ton of stuff thats within easy walking distance including the Singapore Art Museum, The Singapore Management University, the National Library and Bugis Junction so you really don't need to travel far for most things. I found the staff competent and helpful, with one even offering me her own umbrella to use when it was raining. I found the room a good size for the price and the rate quite reasonable for the area. I would definitely recommend it to both business people and those wishing to explore Singapore easily.

Very near Bugis market. You'll have a lot of restaurant options nearby. My kids love the place. The room is clean and surprisingly big enough for the 4 of us. We will be definitely be coming back to Singapore and stay at Oxford Hotel.

Very Good Hotel but still requires a couple inprovements”

Hotel is very well located a few minutes from Bugis and approximately 15 minutes walk from China Town, Little India and also Sun Tec where most of the Singapore Tours operate from. Plenty of good food locations near by. The hotel is clean and tidy and the staff are pleasant and helpful. 2 points I would like to see change are 1 - provide a small fridge in the rooms because when you walk around Singapore that cold drink when you return to the room is great. 2- provide bottle water for the guests as this is required when walking in the hot humid weather of Singapore, it costs little and would be appreciated by the guests.

Hotel condition”

My stay at the Oxford Hotel was okay, but better maintenance is required throughout the hotel. For instance I changed hotel rooms twice, once because the safe in the room did not work and second time because, there was a problem with the toilet. But overall I would like to state I would stay at the Oxford hotel again. Very quiet even though in the middle of Singapore town. Staff was friendly, location good.

My personal Assessment of Oxford Hotel”

I rated the food dining as 1 only because We did not ate at Oxford. breakfast is $12.00 while nearby food courts are cheaper. I got 4 rooms but only 1 room has a ref. I only learned about this on the 4th day. The office staff and the housekeeping staff I would like to commend them for their services. The elevator is a bit slow and old. I hope they can upgrade the elevator. Generally, we had a satisfactory stay at the Oxford Hotel.

Great location n worth the value”

This is not a 5* hotel so one should not compare. I had a great stay as always. The receptionists may not smile much, but they are friendly n check-in is a breeze! The standard rooms are not very small or cramp, in fact, is a reasonable size. They provide almost all the basic necessities, except for toothbrush & toothpaste n a mini bar/fridge - Standard room. But the rates are worth it despite its an old hotel. But the location is excellent. A walk to the nearest MRT is only less than 5mins! I have stayed her quite a few times, which i enjoyed staying; more than my current place (having to squeez in a roon with my sister). Not forgetting there is also a food court just behind the hotel n it take a mere 3-min walk! Will be back again n its 1 of my fav 3 star hotel to rest n chill with lotsa privacy. Take note: The aircon temp can be really cold - Which is good! Those who are afraid of the cold, remember to have ur jacket ready. Late check-out i got was only til 12.30pm, never once had 1 or 2pm check-out - Could be due to high occupancy. No room service but lotsa eateries around, so no complains. There's also drink vending machines and free ice machine located on certain floors. - Thumb up!

value for money”

i arrived early in the morning from a flight, was happy that the staff allowed me to check in an available room so I can take a rest before my conference start. Really appreciate the little help. Right behind the hotel got a cafe and a fusion foodcourt nearby, and MRT as well. walking distance to many attractions and famous bugis street.

Very good location hotel, Comfort Hoteln”

This hotel located on Queen street, Very near from Bras basah MRT Station, and also from Bugis market. you can walk to there. if you want go to mall, Bugis + and Bugis juction only takes 7 minutes by walk. The bed also comfort, and the air conditioning also good. Little spot behind the door or at the corner little dusty. But overall this hotel recommend.

Perfect location”

Minutes away from the nearest subway station and bus stop. The location of the hotel is very near Bugis shopping street and malls and is also near tourist attractions such as the Marina Bay Sands and Gardens by the Bay. The room is OK, we stayed at a triple bed room. It's clean and there's no smell from the carpet (as seen in some reviews). The bad thing is the wifi. It's not consistently connected and you had to login and connect everytime, but thankfully we did not use much of it because we have sim card. Overall, if you're looking for an affordable place to sleep, this is perfect. Location-wise, I will stay in this area again. There is a Food hall nearby!

A pleasant hotel with room that has windows. Fast check in and check out with friendly staff members. Easy access to several SMRT station such as Bugis, Bras Basah and Bencoolen.

Convenient and Helpful”

I came to Singapore on a whim with my 4 year old and the staff were very kind and let us check in early (this is not their norm). My 4 year old had a slight fever and was not feeling well so it was very good to be able to get him some respite. The hotel is very clean and conveniently located within walking distance to a lot of sights. Recommended.

I am writing to commend the excellent and impeccable customer service of your staff, Ms Liz. I am impressed and pleased with the quality of services rendered to me. Firstly, I checked in the room 507 and noticed that the television was faulty. I rang up the reception and informed Ms Christina on the issue. Ms Liz was very responsive and arranged another room 509. But probably that is just my luck that even after the room was switched, I encountered another issue in room 509. To my horror, I found cockroaches! I did not expect my first stay with Oxford Hotel would turned out like this. I rang up the reception and Ms Liz came up to my room again. I understand that it was not her fault on the poor cleanliness of the room. But she repeatedly apologized and even went extra mile to upgrade my room, which I did not expect that. I really appreciate and would like to thank Ms Liz for being patient with me throughout. Her dedication to her work, is truly an asset to the company.

Good for a budget short stay where plenty of local eateries nearby. The hotel has drink vending machines on certain floor where u can conveniently purchased. Receptionists are friendly n check-in was fast n a breeze. Overall for the price wise, it is a good budget n comfortable stay. :)

Great Location but no flairs”

Great location. Walking distance to shops, Bugis markets, 7-Eleven, MRT stations. Rooms are clean, but carpets are old, they don't supply tooth brush/paste. Good value for your money. We stayed four nights. Shopped a lot and only slept at the hotel, so it was ok. .

Strategic place”

It located at the heart of Singapore city center. Travel by MRT in walking distance is an advantage. Very cozy road and calm place to have a cup of coffee by the roadside while enjoying the urban view.
