delightful homestay! great hosts, awesome food and comfortable bedding”

large enough space for a family of 4, we had 1 bedroom, 1 lounge, 1 dining and a small play area for the kids to play in. breakfast and dinner served by the host was spectacular!
unfortunately the shower and bath facilities are in an outhouse so it’s not the easiest especially in the cold

Excellent Stay - highly recommend to others!!”

Daisuke and Yumiko were excellent hosts! The location is amazing - it is calm and peaceful with breathtaking views. They have put a lot of effort and love into the property and their Inn. Yumiko made us the most delicious meals with fresh and local ingredients. We loved learning more about Japanese culture from them. I highly recommend staying here if you want to experience the beauty of the area and of Japanese traditional culture. We look forward to staying here again!

The property was super charming and the host family was lovely. The food they cooked was amazing! The cat and the chickens were cute and the view was unbelievable!
The road up to the property is narrow and windy. If driving you’ll need to be confident.

This inn is a destination in itself. Daisuke and Yumiko are quintessential Japanese inn keepers in their warmth and graciousness. Her cooking is exceptionally delicious and exemplifies local cuisine. This is a truly unique experience and a great place for families and adventurers exploring this beautiful region.
Daisuke will warn you, this isn't the Grand Hyatt, it's a 100 year old traditional home -- the rooster will wake you, but hey, the eggs are really fresh!
