Great Hotel on the Beach in a Great Area”

OZO is a great property on great beach in Samui. It's not going to wow you with excellent design or excellent food, but it does what it does very well. We booked at the OZO because it was centrally located in the shopping area and on the beach, plus it's just a 10 minute taxi to the airport. We only did one night, but we could have easily done 3 or 4. The rooms are very modern, which is cool but I would generally prefer something a bit more Thai. OZO could be a hotel on any beach anywhere in the world, nothing about this place says "I'm in Thailand." But it is very clean, very safe. They do a good job taking care of this property, it's a great place to relax. The pool is maybe one of the best in the area. It's massive, very stylish and has a lot of people frollicking about. The beach at OZO is really outstanding. The sand on Samui is even softer than the sand on Tao and Phangan, even softer than the sand at Koh Phi Phi. Ozo has lots of beach chairs about, it would be an excellent place to grab a book and a Singha and straight post up for the entire day. The location nearby is great. Tons of restaurants and places to shop. We really recommend this place!

a 5 star experience”

it a great stay at Ozo for the group of 6 of us and we are paying for 3 star hotel but experience the 5 star services. the check in process may time consuming but overall the services provided is good with a smiling faces from the staff. the room is clean and the bed is super comfortable where all of us refuse to wake up on every morning.. the pool is great too with the sight of beach where just located next to the swimming pool with easy accessible from Ozo.. and Ozo do provide lot of the sun beds along the beach where u may spend ur whole day at there.. we definitely will stay in Ozo again for our next trip to Koh Samui~

One of best hotels in Chaweng”

We stayed here for 5 nights, check-in was very fast. The room is quite small but clean and convenient. Food was good, the beach and swimming pool were very beautiful and clean. We highly recommend this hotel to any type of travelers, and sea-view room is very valuable. Thank you, OZO, we really enjoyed our stay at Koh Samui. If possible, please try Mit Samui restaurant, good food with reasonable price.

Great location, clean & professional staff!”

Ozo is located right on chaweng beach which is easily the nicest beach in Koh Samui. Shops are right across the street and the location is full of great nightlife. Staff is professional and always smiling. Hotel room was clean. Will definitely be staying at Ozo again when we come back in the future!

Fantastic Resort and Location”

Great hotel. Located on beautiful Chaweng beach. Rooms and facilities are spotless. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. I cannot fault OZO. I will definitely stay at OZO Chaweng on my return to Koh Samui.

Great location right in front of the beach”

Indeed a very pleasurable stay. Location of the hotel is exactly where you want to be staying in Chaweng beach. I believe Chaweng is one of the best beach to stay after visiting nearby beach. The soft sand and water is different to other beaches in Samui. Hotel's layout is very nice, simple yet sophisticated. Room is a bit small but fits my stay with no problem. All amenities are there, aircon works very well and there is an added fan in room when you simply want the breeze. Bed is supersoft, too soft for my taste including the soft pillow. If I could able to ask for pillow preference that would be very nice. TV have good channels. The only complain in room is probably the water pressure and the annoying tub like floor in the shower. A simple ceramic would do nicely why the stupid tub thing I will never understand. Cracking noise every step I take. Breakfast was great. Very nice selections every day. And the pan cake machine is very cool. There are automatic espresso machines for your own taste (cappuccino, latte, etc). Other hotels usually only serves brew coffee. As a coffee aficionados I always thought this is nice. Though better coffee been would be nice. Breakfast opens until 11 so yoi dont have to get up early just for breakfast, how considerate. Pool and beach area is well accommodating with ample beach chairs. Location of hotel is right in the middle of Chaweng. So you wouldn't miss anything. Great stay.

Great Stay”

Just got back from OZO Chaweng for the first week of July, stayed for 7 nights. Got to the hotel at 12ish noon, which is earlier than their check-in time, but was able to give us a room right then which was great so we can get start on the day! Pool was big enough for some proper swimming as well as lounging around, never gets too crowded. Many sunbeds are available around the pool and also on the beach any time of the day, with beach towels provided. Pool side bar/resturant have reasonable prices, would recommend their bbq corn, for 45baht, great taste. Also smoothies are only 99baht all day, perfect for pool/beach lounging. Some cleaned towels are stained previous, might wanna suggest management to inspect them and have them removed. Minor problem, my room door is very heavy. I always have a hard time opening it. Bathroom door always leak water to bathroom floor after shower. Since the hotel is still pretty new, you can see they are still trying to fix some stuff, things like installing the hanging rack in all rooms (cos only random rooms has a hanging rack), gardening n mosquito repelling works, cleaning the pool late at night so it'll be ready for everyone by the morning. Also, they have 24hours security guards both in front of the hotel and back on the beach, which makes us with rooms by the beach feeling quite safe. Awesome location, 10mins walk to central action, right by some of the most local markets. Easy to get to anywhere. Overall, very good value for the money. Very nice hotel with an awesome location! Will definitely come back next time, hopefully soon! :D

Off the charts amazing! ”

We had an amazing stay here. From the moment we arrived they staff made you feel at home. The rooms are small but stylish and comfortable. You feel like your on the set of a 50's movie. Chris, one of the bar/restaurant managers always made sure we were happy, super great guy. The food was great, the service was spot on. The restaurant Stacked had an amazing to notch international menu! A bit pricey but worth every penny. Say hi to Preaw, one of the waiting staff, total sweetly who was sad to see us leave. We totally loved OZO and were sad to leave. Highly reccomend this resort! Great shopping in this area of Koh Samui, go check out Thai boxing, only 5 min away and totally hilarious.

TOP HOTEL AT THE BEST LOCATION OF CHAWENG BEACH”

Over the years, I have been several times to Koh Samui, and this time I wanted to try a beach hotel on Chaweng Beach. The Hotel Staff provided me kindly and promptly with the GPS coordinates, so that I would waste no time looking for it while arriving from Hua Hin. The Staff made a very professional and well-coordinated impression, which was somewhat a surprise for a hotel that has just opened a couple of months ago, and we had a beautiful view from the 3rd floor, overlooking the ocean, the beach and the asymmetrically layed-out pool area. If I were to criticize something about the otherwise perfect top hotel, then it would be the fact that the fruit juices---from frozen concentrates---did not match the good quality of the other food items of the breakfast buffet.

Almost a perfect hotel in Koh Samui”

Nice bed though the room size is a bit limited. But if you plan to go outside most of your stay, then it would not be a problem at all. Nice breakfast. And not to mention, wonderful service by amazing staff at Ozo. Location is also a highlight as it is close to Koh Samui center. A bit input would be great if Ozo could also provide additional outdoor activities facilities i.e kayaking, volly ball, etc. but overall it was a nice stay there. Thanks Ozo team!

Great stay in Samui”

This hotel was recommended by my Thai friends based in Samui. The Ozo was a great surprise. The rooms and pool area are clean, the beach area is also well maintained. Once can walk to Central Festival in about 10 min along the road, and to Ark Bar along the beach in about 10 min for evening fun. Although the hotel was full, the rooms were quite and there was no evidence of large tour groups. Fun all around with none of the annoyance of large tour groups. Finally, the breakfast and happy hour were both excellent. Good choice for Samui.

Great location/customer service”

Start to finish Ozo staff were very accommodating. Reception staff were helpful with transfers etc. Management staff floating around chatting with guests was a good touch for a large hotel and seemed to give some Thai staff confidence in how they should interact with guests. Food was really well presented. Buffet breakfast was the best we came across on our trip. No room service was a bit of a pain as my girlfriend was quite unwell. However Stacked restaurant at the entrance to the hotel (possibly part of ozo) had really nice dine in/takeaway food available. No Thai though. Poppies, 10min walk from Ozo best Thai in Chaweng. Recommended by one of the gentlemen at reception. Overall really nice new hotel. Rooms were a bit small but really well thought out. Ended up staying a couple of extra nights

Ozo chaweng beach ”

Enjoyed my time in koh samui at ozo.I had booked to leave to Phuket after stopping at ozo after 8 nights in hotel.Once I had arrived at Phuket I realised I had made a mistake and returned back to ozo where I going the staff nan,m and ammie in reception great people and very helpfull

Excellent Location, great hotel.”

Our stay was excellent. The hotel is well located. The beach is clean and the pool is superb. Excellent breakfast and we enjoyed Happy Hour. You can hire scooters or cars from the exception. Will definitely stay at OZO again if we travel back to Koh Samui. Also free WiFi and it is fast.

Good stay at Ozo”

Had a great stay at Ozo, it was in April 2014, although when we first arrived there was a problem with the swimming pool, we were given very good customer service by the staff, who upgraded us to a premium room, and fortunately the pool was fixed within a few days. The beach at Ozo is the nicest stretch of the beach in Chaweng. We looked at other beach fronted hotels briefly, but could not deny that Ozo hotel and beach combination was a winning combo. Can't wait to go back there again.

One of the best hotel experience”

It was a great experience to stay at this hotel. Me and my wife were really delighted. The hotel was large, clean. The room was small, but you will find all required facilities there. The dining experience was really superb. There were lots of items and the food was tasty.The hotel has it's own beach and there is guard always present there. The swimming pool was also large and excellent for swimming. Tour packages are available at reception of the hotel, from where you can try your desired island and city tour travels. Overall, it is a great new hotel and we will come back here again. Strongly recommended for staying in Koh Samui.

Great location, clean, modern.”

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the Ozo Samui. If you want somewhere quiet I would avoid this or any other hotel on Chaweng beach road, we could hear loud music until the early hours. The breakfast was ok, had variety of hot, cold, western and Thai dishes as well fresh fruits. However the quality of the food wasn't as good as other hotels in Samui. The Thai staff were fantastic, extremely polite and helpful.

Excellent place to stay ”

I came to Samui for some relaxation and it was perfect, the pool amazing with views of the ocean, the staff were friendly and helpful, my room was very comfortable everything was always clean and the location was great you can walk down the strip for shopping/ massage/ restaurants and walk a bit further if you fancy some nightlife. I would love to stay with Ozo again

Good for value ... Excellent location ”

It's our 2nd time staying with OZO Chaweng. Its location is excellent. Its away from the noise and yet convenient enough for us to roam around. Food are easily accessible and there's 2 convenient stores just in front of OZO. We had the Dream Ocean room right by the beach front and it has lovely sea view. We can lounge at our patio seeing the world goes by. The staff this time round wasn't very smiley or chatty maybe of the recent event. However the overall was great. Would recommend this place to whoever may want to visit Ko Samui.

Exceptional”

i stayed 3 nights at OZO. it was amazing place: nice resort - nice beach ( very clean ) - great location. if i go back to Koh Samui again, i would like to stay at OZO.
