Fantastic customer service”
Stayed for a wedding and was short on time for preparation. Called up and requested an early check in. The lady at reception organised it immediately and was super accommodating! I can’t remember the ladies name, however she deserves a raise!

We loved this resort, it went beyond our expectations. The staff were very friendly, the Bar and Grill had everything you wanted on the menu and the surroundings were idyllic. We felt very special.

Lovely resort but needs to be improved for people with disabilities”
The resort was lovely but frustrating in some respects that would only affect a few. In particular, my wife is in a mobility scooter, which made 2 of the 3 pools inaccessible. Furthermore, the ramp to the lap pool that she could get to still had a step which made it quite challenging for her scooter. These should be really easy fixes for a resort of this size, which would allow the resort to be enjoyed by those in a similar position to my wife.

A few days off”
Stayed at Pacific bay coffs Harbour. We had an executive terrace room on the hill overlooking the pool. Nice room, quite clean, had everything you would want from a room. Now the not so good. The TV had 2 vertical lines down the screen. The outside Spas were not operational, and the pool for the terraces only open for 3 hrs a day, 3pm till 6pm. There was a bigger pool in the main area. The food selection , though it was nice to eat, it was limited. And only pizzas on Monday and Tuesday. Happy hr at the bar also only had a couple of beers to choose from, not the whole range. The games room was not open, it was closed. No idea why when everyone can touch and did touch everything else in the resort during these covid restricted times. Thanks for the stay, it was comfortable, though I may look elsewhere next time. Cheers

Landscaped grounds are gorgeous”
Location is a short drive from city centre. The grounds well manicured. However, the rooms are dated yet clean. Disappointed the lap Pool is open only few hours each day as a covid Marshall must be present to sign you in, no mention of this when booking. Parking is only for 60 cars , and first in basis. We had to park in an overflow car Park away from building which is only half tarred and no lighting. We were uncomfortable leaving our car there. Just a warning that rooms are not serviced daily, only midway through your stay. So towels not replaced daily. Disappointed our balcony view was an entire series of trees. Our balcony door would not lock, however maintenance came and rectified this. We had an Executive room, so no kitchenette however there were coffee making facilities and a small fridge. We were angry at first as we were unaware of these issues. We weren't going to let this spoil our 5 day stay. Making the best of the situation, but would not re book.

Great hotel, beautiful surroundings”
My daughter and I stayed at the Pacific Bay resort for one night stop over on our way through Coffs Harbour. We were disappointed we couldn’t stay longer we enjoyed our stay and found the hotel and it’s surroundings lovely . We will 100% be staying here again.

We were nicely suprised with this hotel. We had never been to Coffs so booking on line was a bit of a gamble as per usual! When we arrived we were all very excited at the mere size of the place with manicured gardens and a massive pond around the restaurant. The beds were comfy and it felt like we'd had a couple of nights on a getaway when we were only actually there for one! I'd recommend this hotel.

Certainly an older resort yet presented very clean and overall tidy. Excellent staff, good reasonably priced room service and the meals in the restaurant were exceptional.

Outstanding value and fun”
Wow, wow, wow! This was one of the best places we have stayed as a family. This resort offers sport and pools in a very scenic environment. The walk down to the beach was absolutely beautiful and the beach is like your own private one. The facilities would interest a very wide age bracket. Very enjoyable and relaxing.

Not quite Coffs Harbour”
Overall our stay was ok but some things were disappointing. The check in person was a bit unfriendly but maybe we got her on a bad day. Lack of wifi in the room was a real negative. You can pay for it at ripoff rates ($20 per day for 200mb) or you can go to reception and get a free low speed version for free. As reception is some distance away in another building its a real negative. Don't think your Accor Plus membership will help because they say they are not obliged to honour that benefit. It is quite a distance from Coffs Harbour itself, about 15 minute drive. The property is getting a bit dated now. The setting is nice but if you are a golfer the small coarse at the resort will disappoint. The beach is very unappealing and no one seemed to use it.

Beautiful Gardens Relaxing setting”
We arrived and enjoyed, the bed was a little too soft not conducive to back health, when we turned up to the coffee shop late afternoon we ordered coffee's and asked for some snack suggestions, reluctantly we were told the cheese platter might be good, so we went with that! it was very good indeed, The Fruit and Cheese platter was an excellent choice.... but what a difference a congenial friendly staff attitude and a smiling face can achieve! Don't expect it here! Basil Faulty Is alive and well. The Bar staff person's attitude was expected, other reviews had commented so the attitude was expected prior to arrival.

Ok ...if you really need to stay at Coffs Harbor area. I do not understand why room rate are more expensive than Sydney and Brisbane, but there are not many other choices.....
