Just amazing. Had no heart to come back home!”

My fiance booked this place as a surprise for our 10th year anniversary. So I knew nothing of the place till I saw it in person. We were traveling from Bangkok which was a 3.5hr drive. Tickets to and fro Bangkok was 615bhat. The speed boat ride took about 10mins from mainland to Koh Samet. Since Paradee has it's own private beach, we entered through the beach in style! Paradee staff were standing in a row and each villa had one staff to welcome it's guests in. I was amazed at the villa (my first time seeing the place)! The first door was already majestic enough. The interior was amazing and tastefully done. The pool was just the right size for 2. Paradee was quite a huge place and we tried to explore the area but were unable to as the Princess of Thailand was staying there at the same time so a whole chunk of the resort was blocked. Sunset bar is the resort's bar and the circular couch there is a good place to relax with a drink during sunset. The restaurant there is a little overpriced; but it is expected as this is a 5 start resort. The food is really good. Breakfast(buffet and ala carte) is tastefully done with the right amount of dishes. Their homemade bread, jams and yoghurt are amazing! We were touched by their service when the head chef carried our plates and waited patiently while we still not decided if we wanted eggs! Also, when they realised that we don't eat pork, the chef went to cook up a new dish with chicken to compensate. :D Movie rental is available and if you are too tired to walk to the library, they send a buggy to your room to fetch you. If you prefer to have your meal delivered to any part of the resort, they can arrange that for you as well. The staff are very very polite and humble. They really treat you like royalty. If they see you around they stop to bow and greet you. For those not used to this, it will definitely be a culture shock. Overall, Paradee is the sixth heaven indeed! Highly recommended for honeymooners!

Very nice and calm”

Coming to Paradee Resort was a very nice experience. We had two nights at the resort with our 3 year old son. First of all, the people working at Paradee was very helpful and did their utmost to handle all requests. The resort is beautifully situated facing both east and west (sunrise and sunset, with drinks). The beach is super with complimentary water sports available. The pool with the pooal area and pool bar was very nice although somewhat worn-out. Our bungalow was the "cheapest" but that didn´t make us feel less welcome or pampered. Even this "simple" bungalow was more than enough with a nice bathroom, although the outside shower didn´t make you feel 100% secure. On the second day while taking the short walk (100 yards) walk from the poolarea to our bungalow a three foot lizard was waiting on our doorstep. A little scary, but mostly surprising. The lizard continued it´s way a minute later. Also great with wifi in your room, around the front desk, in the restaurant, but would be great to have the pool area and parts of the beach covered. All in all a very nice stay which we definitely can recommend, but paying from 350 USD per night isn´t something we could do for more than a couple of days. But why not reward yourself two night here and then a few more nights at another Koh Samet-resort.

We are a family of four, including two young kids. We absolutely loved our five night stay at the Paradee Resort! Our stay exceeded our expectations in many ways. First is the location. The resort is located at the southern most part of Koh Samet island, nested in its own private beach. It really is a different world. The moment you step into the resort, you are greeted with super courteous staff. They really go out of their ways to make sure we had a pleasant stay. Facilities are nice. We rented a garden villa with a private pool. Loved the idea that kids can play all day in our private pool and yard if they so desire. In the common area, the beach is really beautiful. White, pristine, fine sand makes sand castle building fun, even for the adults. Lots of water sports free of charge, including a private tour into the ocean with the sailboat. Because the beach is private to the resort, and there are only 20-30 villas total? We never had to worry about social distancing by the beach. Then the staff (again), they go out of the way to make us feel welcomed. 1pm fruits, 2pm ice creams, 3pm afternoon tea... they would find you on the beach and bring the goodies to you. (But if you are in your villa, they also know not to disturb you). If you are playing by the beach, they proactively bring ice bucket with water to you. It really felt like the staff showed up at the perfect time to take care of you, and otherwise they would disappear into the background. I don’t think we have ever been taken so great care of on any other vacations before. Ever. Dinner on the beach is a plus. Again not easy for the servers because they have to carry food all the way to the beach to you. But again they delivered seamlessly. Never had to even ask for water, because they were so attentive that they will know your water was running low before you even notice it yourselves. If I had to nit pick, I would say it was a bit pricey. This year we couldn’t really travel abroad (due to COVID travel

Paradee - The Sixth Heaven”

It took us 6 weeks to find a place which would suit our expectations on a holiday, full of relaxation, great food, great service and an exclusive location. Paradee Resort in Koh Samet fit the description to the letter. Relaxation - 10 out of 10 Food - 10 out of 10 (Both asian and western cuisine superb) Especially the spaghetti carbonara) Service - 10 out of 10 (Staff are very friendly and aren't over the top.) Location - 10 out of 10 (can only get to the resort by speed boat. Makes it feel more exclusive especially when they drive out the pier from the beach.) We were invited to a meet and greet cocktail party with all the Paradee management team, this was a great idea as it showed that the team had an interest in there guests. In all, thanks again to Kung, Marcus, Piero, Natalie, Patty, Ping Pong, Ming and the entire Paradee team. Peace out.

Paradise on earth”

Having spent 6 nights in Paradee I was in heaven and even more so after spending two weeks in three other 5 star resorts and remembering back how the Paradee was. The Paradee had it all: great design respecting the nature, flawless service, magnificent beach, great food/beverage service and above all a romantic athmosphere with a great feeling of privacy no matter where in the hotel you were. I am really waiting to get back asap! The only downsides were a lot trouble arranging the transports from Bangkok (I'd advice to make these arrangement well in advance, I waited until 2 days before my check-in date and boy was I in trouble as the details about the information boat schedules and location of the pier changed depending on which website I checked and who in the hotel I called) and that the hotel prices in Koh Samed have gone up a lot with Paradee leading the pack. But the Paradee is definately worth the extra-$$ compared to the other five star resorts in Samed.

A perfect place to chillout and unwind ”

Paradee resort on Koh samet is a a perfect place to relax and unwind. We went in october, before high season and it was like having our own private island . The resort is set in the remote south end of the island, we arrived via the speed boat from the mainland and were greated by the smiling and ever attentive staff. Our garden villa was perfect, the hardest choice was weather to go and relax on the beach or relax on the deck next to our private pool. If you feel like doing some exercise to burn off all the good food there are sea kayaks to explore the coastline and snorkelling gear to check out the coral reef out the front of the resort. Fishing and diving is available at extra cost. Take a good book and enjoy some well earned downtime.

Exceptional”

The Paradee is a true 5-star resort. Accommodations leave nothing to be desired, service is impeccable, the food excellent. To this can be added a soft white-sand beach that is private and very clean. The water is also surprising clean, considering how close Koh Samet is to Pattaya. If you stay in a beachfront villa, you have a view of the open Gulf that stretches to the horizon. A three-hour drive from Bangkok, and then a 20-minute boat ride, makes it extremely convenient. The Paradee is perfect if you want a quiet, relaxing holiday in a luxurious surrounding .

Perfect Hotel - Beautiful Quiet Oasis”

Great place and will be back. It is definitely worth the price. They take care of everything you would ever want. Unlimited water (free) is served throughout the day pool side; fruit/ice cream/afternoon tea is served every afternoon pool (all free). They breakfast is huge..a combination of buffet plus any ordered items you want. They will make anything for you. The beach is very nice and clean...tons of lounge chairs all available in the shade...don't need to worry about one not being available. The pool is large and very nice and large lounging areas around the pool. The staff is absolutely attentive to your every need --- from arrival to their boat terminal, to landing at the resort to everything in between. It was well worth the value. we stayed an extra day (and Paradee had no rooms available due to a holiday weekend so we had to go to another hotel in the busy section of the island). AFter trying another place, Paradee was worth its weight in gold. The quiet and well maintainted environment, excellent service, is perfect for a get away weekend or trip. At the other hotel we went, we had horrible customer service, the room was a dump, and the scene was total chaos. Paradee was just the opposite.

It's definitely one of the best places”

We were always curious about Paradee for its exclusiveness and such high rating despite the very expensive rates. We were lucky to have 50% off on Agoda (still US$300/night for Garden Pool Villa, which is extremely expensive for Samet where many good villas are available for much less). Having stayed for 4 nights there, we must agree with the many commentators that this place is very unique, having both east-aide and west-side beaches (being located at the sohern tip of the island), excellent facilities (gym, beach area, free WiFi everywhere), services (very polite and helpful staff, fresh fruits and welcome drink at the sunset bar everyday, the whole staff, including Chef and manager welcoming and seeing off guests with the speed boat). The spacious villa with a plunge pool is absolutely wonderful. Some not-so special points: spa treaments are not particularly interesting; restaurant menu had a lot of chices but very over-priced(esp. Thai dishes) even for a hotel and some (masaman curry) was not too sweet (but good salads). Defintely recommended for couples on special occasions. Not for families with children.

Paradee was an absolute delight and truly exotic”

It was a very easy taxi ride from Bangkok to Ban Phe, which is where the dock was for our private yacht. Before our departure, a staff member gave us a sheet of paper to fill out with some preferences for bath and body soaps and wine selections. The villa was gorgeous, on the beach but in the corner so that it was away from everyone else. I thought it was one of the more private villas. The only complaints I would have about the villa is that it should have a full size mirror in it and if there are monsoon rain showers, be prepared for the roofs to leak a bit, it wasn’t horrible, just a little water leaked through. We were there in October, so there was virtually no people on the island, maybe a total of 20 guests. The beach was private and very clean and the services they offer in the afternoon are lovely, even though they forgot to come around at times to offer us the services. If you sit on the beach, they aren’t as attentive as if you were by the pool area. The sunset bar is beautiful during the sunset, hence the name. The “signature cocktail” is quite good and the staff is very nice. One of the evenings they had only one man running the entire bar and he seemed to be a little overwhelmed because there were quite a few “needy” guests there. However, another man accompanied him after some time. If you are looking for a huge variety of food, then this resort would be considered limited. You only have one choice for food, the Paradee restaurant. The prices are a little pricey, but all hotel restaurants are. If you are foreign and you want them to prepare your food Thai style, make sure to emphasize this. The morning buffet is nice and filled with a lot of delicious fruits, cheese, and Thai soups. On the other side of the island you can rent ATVs or motor scooters. I think the resort should offer that as well. I would definitely recommend couples to stay here. Oh and yes, “the resort is popular with the same sex couples.” We like pretty :)

A once-in-a-lifetime experience.”

We are typically fairly budget conscious and steer away of paying top-dollar for accommodations (but also don't find the cheapest possible room). Noticing a great Agoda deal for Paradee an outstanding reviews (also on TripAdvisor), we decided to treat ourselves to two nights at this splendid resort. We don't have any regrets. It was ideal to every detail. The afternoon tea was delightful. The staff were fantastic. We absolutely loved it. The restaurant menu offers many selections with lots of variety.

Beautiful Island resort only a few hours drive/boat from Bangkok”

Paradee had the best service I have ever encountered over 35 years of travel around the world. The staff meet us at the pier with a precheck in that was quick and easy and made the move in process seamlessly fast and easy. They sent over a premium shuttle speedboat that ferried us right to the hotel peir, not the public peir everyouther resort used. The staff, lead by Mr. Oat meet us at the peir, quickly shuttling our luggage and us straight to our room, no delays in beach time. Everything about the resort was explained on the way or as we entered the bungalow. The bungalow was spacious and well appointed. The private pool was awesome for a quick dip in the morning or late at night, or simply after a swim in their beautiful bay. The bay was filled with coral and all sorts of tropical fish, easily observed with the snorkel gear supplied with your room. The food was fantastic too. We ate breakfast and dinner on site, but ventured around the island for lunch. Highly recommended

Marveøous hotel in paradise”

Me and my wife staid at Paradee 4 nights. It was a short break from travelling in work. Even that we were out of season (october) we were lucky wth not too much rain. The total number of guest was around 39 so it was extremely quite, just the way we was looking for. It was a private beach which was really clean, lovely personal and good food. The prices are bit high compared to Thailand. We also went a trip to the north of the island just to check if we was missing any; we was not so we got back to Paradee after an hour ib the center of the island. Bumpy ride on a pick up. Paradee is the place for the ones that seek the quietness and relaxing. I hope we will be able to go again

The best place in Samed”

We knew that Paradee is the most expensive resort on the island so we expected more than we would have for other ones. Being our first time on the island, we wanted to make sure that our short weekend getaway was good. Paradee accomplished that starting with the very first impression at the pier. The speedy and subtle check in. The welcome and everything the staff genuinely responded to our requests. GM walked around late morning onwards to ensure operations were smooth and guests feel welcomed. Rooms are large and comfortable and romantic. We wish we could have spent more time in the room but the private beach was nice as well. Overall, it proves that คนไทยตั้งใจทำอะไรจะทำได้ดีที่สุด. Meaning when Thais pit their hearts into providing the best service, they are the best!

Amazingly private!”

Service upon arrival / night stay was great, hotel settings / layout is good, beach to me is average only that here is very clean. Best thing is the privacy, really is very quiet here and very relaxing! 2 small things that i would like Paradee to consider for your point of improvement tho, are: (1) Front service at Jadet Pier: We hadn't been received an OK service there and this wasn't the first time for us, Jadet is where first impression is all about : ) If service here is excellent you will be totally perfect! (2) Villa Area: The night we stayed light bulbs (pool & terrace) were out, even though it only took 3 minutes before you would come and replace but still, it would have been better if you could check before assigning any villa to guests (resort wasn't completely full that day). Tree leaves were everywhere at terrace even though in room was very clean but again, your rate for an accommodation in Samed is considered quite massive. I kind of expected things to be a little bit flawless! Rest are all good, we had a great vacation there and for sure will come back at later time, keep up great work!

Simply the Best”

Our stay at the Paradee Resort was the best stay we ever had. The staff was extraordinarily friendly, helpful and attentive. Service oriented from the start to finish. The villa was gorgeous and everything was kept spotless! The restaurant has a very pleasant environment, again with a friendly staff. Food was very good. The breakfast was great, fresh and of the highest quality that left you wanting nothing more. The beach is absolutely beautiful with fine powder white sand, palm trees and clear water. All in all, a fantastic holiday. Amazing staff, great location, fantastic villa!

As advertized, Paradise”

wonderful service, good food, fantastic location, great rooms and good off season prices. paradee means the sixth level of paradise, the resort lived up to it name. the staff that greeted us when we arrived was warm, friendly and dedicated to great service. the restaurant was excellent. the rooms are just wonderful with a private infinity pool giant open air shower and huge bath. the only con i can think of is that the ac didn't keep the room as cool as we wanted but it was completely acceptable. we will go back

Paradee Resort”

An excellent resort located at the far end of Koh Samet with its own private beach.Very good for those who want to enjoy only the resort and not go anywhere else.An ideal honeymoon location.The price for the resort was expensive but that was of our own choosing --what was not very nice was the charge of 100 dollars for the boat to the resort each way which was a total of 200 dollars.The food at the restaurant was very expensive and as one not go anywhere one was captive to these prices.

6th Heaven revisited”

I have been to the Paradee several times before and again it was such a pleasure to revisit this lovely resort. The eco location is fantastic and the beach (which is immaculately maintained) is wonderfully quiet and relaxing. The individual eco villas are uniquely lovely and are cleaned to a very high standard. Everywhere you go in the resort the beach and garden teams are tending to the grounds and always treat you wirh such warm smiles and friendly welcomes. The general manager Mr Pornthep Hantrakarnpong is a genuinely nice man and leads a wonderful team of staff for whom nothing is too much trouble and always greet you with a warm smile and unfailing courtesy. One of the highlights of our stay was a lovely private dinner on the beach, and the service and thought shown to us could not have been better. I am certainly coming back again, as taken as a whole package this place takes some beating.

Absolutely Paradise”

usually we can't afford this sort of thing so we only planned to stay one night as a treat. after the first night we were hooked and put two more nights on the credit card. it really is paradise. from the moment you arrive the staff cannot do enough for you. the villa we stopped in was absolutely stunning, extremely clean and very well decorated. when we first went in they had set up the stereo with a cd of love songs which was quite a nice touch as we were travelling as a couple. there was also another cd you could choose from and a library of dvds and books are available too. we were only about 10 metres away from a beautiful white sandy beach which was very secluded except for a few people taking advantage of the complimentary kayak's and yachting. the complimentary breakfast is enormous! we ended up trying to save some because there was lots left over, but you keep getting free ice-cream and afternoon tea with cakes etc..too so we didn't need to! you also get free fruit with a great selection and upon arrival a free cocktail each. i recommend the raspberry daquiri. mmmm. the food and the restaurant is outstanding. a little on the expensive side, but then it is a luxury resort so shouldn't complain really. upon arrival you also get to choose what scent you would like in your room, a bottle of wine and which soaps you would like. i couldn't fault this place at all. the staff were very friendly and said hello at every opportunity but were also aware that people had come for a get-away and so left us to our devices and didn't interrupt us. each villa has a bell that staff ring before they enter.there was a power outage on the island during our stay and we weren't even aware because they have a massive generator so there was no inconvenience whatsoever. overall, paradee is quite simply..paradise.
