More than what I expected!”

Park Hotel Alexandra feels a tad near home, hence didn’t feel quite like a staycay as compared to hotels in town or Sentosa. But having said that, I was hotel hopping last weekend and moved from JW Marriott Southbeach to Park Alexandra. And I must say this branch of the group impressed me (yes not all Park hotels are this good, Clark Quay’s was nay)! Check in was a breeze - I made my booking very last minute and it wasn’t captured in the hotel system yet when I arrived. Front desk checked internally, politely explained the situation and asked me to wait a bit. It was “a bit” indeed... my room was ready in 5 min! Also upgraded me to the Club room (sans Club benefits) on the second highest floor. Great start to the day! Room was cosy, adequately sized and well furnished. Very clean, well maintained, comfy bed. Pillows could be fluffier though. Bathroom stall was designed with great detail in mind, slightly sloped so that minimal water could flow outside. Perfect for me as I like dry areas to remain dry. TV could have been positioned in line with middle of bed rather than middle of wall. Display wasn’t sharp and sounded muffled but no biggie. Room service team was superb - requested for wine glass and set of cutlery; arrived within minutes. Had to call shortly again to ask for a plate (cos I forgot the first round!) and the same guy (assuming he’s the duty manager) came by under 5 min with a big smile! Their service standards have surpassed a 4-star hotel if you ask me. Staff is indeed a hotel’s greatest asset. Totally made up for small things like TV issues mentioned above. What made this place even more impressive was because Marriott’s overall experience sucked the day before! So well done Park Alexandra! Will definitely visit again to try the Club Lounge and drinks by the pool. Keep up the service standards!

I would like to express my thanks and appreciation for the great service and care that I’ve received at Park Hotel Alexandra from 20/10/2017 to 21/20/2017 We would like to exceptionally compliment Eileen from Crystal Club Lounge for her great service. From the very moment we entered the lounge, she make us feel so welcomed & at home. She has shown great enthusiasm and is very attentive to every guest in the lounge. Throughout the session in the lounge, we noticed that she is addressing every single guest by name and is making sure all of us is attended to with continuous interaction. Not forgetting to mention, she gave a full introduction of the Hotel to us and recommended us to visit the restaurants , other facilities & infinity pool. Having been to other club rooms and lounges, it always feels exclusive but it’s always short of that personal touch to make the stay a special one. The lounge may not have the best range of food & beverage but Eileen has definitely given us a 5 Star experience at the lounge. We have already decided to return to Park Hotel Alexandra for our next staycation. Crystal Club room is definitely the choice. I will definitely recommend Park Hotel Alexandra to all of my colleagues, friends and family. Thank you again for such outstanding service.

Near Ikea, close to 2 malls”

I really enjoyed staying at the Park Hotel Alexandra. We were helping my daughter to move to Singapore as she would be studying there. So, being close to Ikea was a big bonus as we got most of the things she needed there. It was also convenient that Park Hotel was close to 2 malls and many eating places. If you're into trying the Hawker's Center, the Alexandra Hawker's Center was also close by. Very grateful to the bell service people who really went out of their way to help us with our packages and boxes we got from Ikea. Definitely, a thumbs up! Other staff members were also very nice! :-) The hotel is not close to the MRT stations but they make up for this by providing free shuttle service to the MRTs. (Well, if you really have to go, it's only SGD 5.00 by taxi to the closest MRT). And, there's a direct bus that takes you to Vivo City and Bugis, which I also found very convenient. (I didn't travel during rush hour!) For this trip, Park Hotel Alexandra was a great option!

Great value for money; well-designed and love the pool!”

Staycation weekend and was totally impressed with the design: high-ceiling, well-designed room and the pool is a must-visit. Near to loads of great-value local delights and this is a great hotel for any visitors who prefers to enjoy the real Singapore instead of staying along Orchard Road etc. Great service team: Check-in was fuss-free and room was definitely prepped by a very professional housekeeping team. Didn't visit the F&B outlets as I was busy running around the 2 hawker centres nearby :-) Overall, great hotel for staycation and lovely place for any visitors who've sort of "been there, done that" and would like to experience an area that is off the beaten track. Nearby amenities: 1) Alexandra Food Village; ABC Brickworks Hawker Centre, Keng Eng Kee Seafood Restaurant. 2) Hort Park, MapleTree Business Park. 3) 15 minutes by taxi to: Orchard Road; 20-25 minutes to CBD/Marina Bay Sands Resort.

Best hotel for IKEA shopping”

If you.re in Singapore to shop for IKEA products, look no further, this hotel is just right next door to IKEA Alexandra. Good, clean room, good facilities on the 7th floor (cafe, pool, gym) and very helpful front desk staff. There are two hawker centers nearby for good and cheap local food; two nearby shopping malls (although small). The hotel provides free hourly bus service to Park Hotel in Orchard (just 20 minutes away) right in the middle of great shopping and stops in Harbour Front, gateway to Sentosa and everything in the island resort. Singapore airport is a mere 30 minute taxi ride. In short, a good value for money hotel.

Lost and Found item”

I want to express my sincerest gratitude to Jessica, Eunice & the housekeeping department. We stayed at Park Hotel Alexandra on 17/3/2016 and through carelessness dropped a packet of jewellery in the room. I never had any hope of seeing it again but thanks to honest staff who helped me recover my jewellery which cost S$17,000.00 They gave us their full support to find them in a very short period of time. The honesty and professionalism of the staff is outstanding! I will always recommend Park Hotel Alexandra to family and friends.

Memorable stay on our big day ”

We made the perfect choice to stay with Park Hotel Alexandra on our wedding day! We were given special crystal club lounge access during check-in which we were really grateful for. The room was extremely clean with comfortable mattress and shower. We had the privilege of having late checkout at 3pm as one of the crystal club benefits which came in really useful. In the morning, we had a sumptuous breakfast at the club lounge. The area was cosy and we were more than impressed with the quantity and quality of the food that was served. Most importantly, the service was impeccable and dedicated. As we had to leave in the evening for our wedding dinner, we could not make it for the complimentary cocktail session during this stay, so we shall leave it for our next :) The crystal club benefits are attractive and we will be very keen to top up for that on our next stay. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful experience on our important day!

Good Hotel to stay in Singapore”

It was such a great two nights stay at this hotel. Park Hotel Alexandra is definitely recommended and would love to stay here again on my next visit in Singapore. The staffs were helpful and friendly, shuttle bus service was definitely a good option as long as you follow the schedule. Room was clean and comfy. Waiting area in the lobby was great too. Really worth it.

Have been a regular at park hotel group. This is the first time we are giving Alexandra a try and it turned out to be best experience we have had with the group. Appreciate the warm hospitality and attentiveness from the team (from front desk to Atiqah, Dave at the club house and housekeeping staff) - you will be surprised that many hotels offer sub-par services. Thanks for making us feel comfortable. Facilities and breakfast spread can be considered above average among hotels in this group. It will be be great if unpleasant odor in the gym can be reduced. Room was clean. Pleasant stay overall. Shuttle service available if you need transportation since the hotel is not walking distance from a mrt station.

Good value for money”

We love having a stay-cation. However in Singapore most hotels are either overprice or not value for money. Park Hotel Alexandra however exceeded our expectations. From the friendly staff to the clean room and wonderful pool. We love this hotel. Though location a bit far from city area there are many food eateries around the area.

Excellent service, highly recommended”

Our stay at this hotel was to celebrate a birthday. The hotel staff provided an excellent and thoughtful service on this day and made our stay a delightful one. Upon check-in, we were upgraded to a room on one of the highest floors. Later at night, the staff also sent a surprise birthday cake to our room. We've always enjoyed staying at Park Hotel Alexandra, and I must say that it has always been a great experience. Highly recommended! Rooms are immaculate, and there's a beautiful swimming pool with a gorgeous view of the Interlace.

Birthday staycation”

Been a repeat customer with Park hotel Alexandra for the past 3 years. Have always celebrated my birthday with staycation with them & they have never once failed my expectation. Nice & friendly staffs, clean rooms, rooms are well maintained, never fails to extend check out timing whenever requested. These are just some of the points listed out, & all I can say, it’s value for money & you are definitely not getting a 4 star service & room, when you are paying for a 4 star hotel

Staycation last December 2019”

Everything was perfect from the start right to the end. Very easy and convenient check-in and check-out. Special thanks to Ms. Mae who handled our check-in and made it a lot easier! The room was well-lit and modern. The bed was very cozy that we almost wanted to sleep the whole morning! Breakfast was quite good as well, with a balance selection of Western and Singaporean cuisine. The view, the location, the pool, the staff, everything is really world-class and excellent. Definitely coming back here at Park Hotel Alexandra.

Better than expected! ”

I arrived an hour earlier than the stipulated check-in time, and thought I should register first to speed things up. Much to my delight, the front desk staff told me that I could check in immediately since there was a room ready. The whole process took no longer than five minutes. My request for a late check-out was also obliged :) The staff were courteous, but service was average at best. The room was well-appointed & adequate for two. Modern, clean, and comes with a very cozy bed! I loved that it overlooks the greenery of The South Ridges & also the busy cross junction of Queensway/Alexandra. The wifi worked well, and power sockets were also thoughtfully placed at every corner of the room. Walls are a little on the thin side, as I was awoken by the noises from the corridor. Had no problems with the hot water, nor the water pressure. Gym is small, but the equipment are new. Pool & jacuzzi are well-maintained. Would love to stay at Park Hotel Alexandra again.

Local Getaway”

Everything about this hotel is good other than 1 thing. They have an extremely cold air conditioning, no matter how you adjust, it will still be cold. Great location, good value, nice facilities but usually populated by family with kids. There is shuttle service between Grand Park Orchard and Park Alexandra. However, the number of passenger they can drive is limited. We witness people who waited and not able to get on the mini van. Front Desk Staff (Orchard) is judgemental and doesn't serve all guests with similar gesture (shows ignorance attitude based on a guest dress code) Hence, unfriendly and a lack in profession.

Good hotel”

Hotel is a great deal for Singapore. Rate very reasonable for weekend. There is IKEA across the street (good place to eat in there for cheap prices as well). Mall across from IKEA with plenty of shopping and eating. Queenstown MRT is about 10+ minute walk to not convenient if you have luggage to deal with. Hotel new and clean. If you don't need/want a 5 star hotel but get good room (but small) and good deal for the money this is a hotel to consider. Gym is also fairly decent as well for those that like good workout every day. Short taxi to Orchard Rd for the tourists.

Hotel is located away from the MRT station, but the surrounding is full of food options. Alexandra food village hawker centre, anchorpoint opposite, queensway shopping centre across, and IKEA right beside the hotel which is a bonus (yummy meatballs and chicken wings!) Was able to get an early check-in which is great! We were celebrating our anniversary and the staff had prepared a towel folded swan+ heartshape on the bed which is a nice surprise. The room was very quiet, cozy and had a really comfortable bed. Had a great rest and sleep. The infinity pool is very nice, with a good unblocked view and jaccuzzi is great too. The pool is quiet thoughout the day, and had the pool to ourselves most of the time. Was just crowded at night when most of the tour groups has checked in. Breakfast was very nice and surprisingly not crowded at all. Good food and relaxing atmosphere. Overall a wonderful stay and value for money. Will definitely be back and highly recommended!

Staycation 3 days 2 nite at Park Hotel Alexandra.”

Check-in takes a while due only 2 staffs processing the Check-in desk. But overall pretty fast. Nice clean rooms. With complimentary water which was located in the bathroom. DON'T take the Aqua Panna on the dressing table. It's not free. Free and pretty decent speed wifi within the room. Got ironing board and hair dryer which both are located inside the closet. Just that the room a bit cramped. Just got enough space for 01 luggage case. If 2, it's is definitely eating in to walking space. The breakfast spread is good. The obligatory egg station, a pretty nice spread of local food. Bread station which I just wish that's there signs indicating what's the types of rolls available. It's like trying out ur luck in getting what rolls. The coffee sucks. U better had the tea or the orange/pineapple juice instead. The swimming pool is just right outside so one can actually had your breakfast next to the pool....u may have a nice view of bikini clad girls.....the gym just to the side of the pool so u can exercise while looking out to the pool. The mall right next door is the most empty mall I had ever seen. Just a couple of restaurants, 1 Gain City Shop, a few mani/pedi shops and hair salon. That's it....I doubt there is more than 15 shops in the whole mall based on the directory. Opposite is the Anchorpoint where u can get items at outlets pricing. Not much shopping 2 but way better than the Alexandra Mall. I had more fun spending my day at the IKEA right next to the hotel. Even though I'm a local yet this was an area quite foreign to me as I'm used to the east side of Singapore. One can find plenty of good cheap eats at the neighbouring food center....Alexander Village food center which have the famous Punggol Satay and Steam crystal bao水晶包。The other one is the ABC Brickworks market and Food center. Too many good eats there to mentioned...just Google online u may gets lots of recommendation. Both food centers located in old neighbourhood so u usually only see the elderly an

Very Good Stay”

This is my second stay in Park Hotel Alexandra and just like the first time, the hotel fully met my expectations in terms of comfort and service. The complimentary hourly bus service to Harbourfront/Sentosa and Orchard Road are extremely convenient allowing one to access these areas in just a few minutes while staying in a moderately priced hotel in a quiet neighborhood with shops, malls and restaurants at your doorstep.
