Great value made better by eager to please staff”
We chose the Park Regis because the Deluxe Pool Suites advertised on Agoda looked like really good value. We are happy to say that overall we were delighted with our decision to stay there. It’s advertised as a 4 star hotel, but our facilities were definitely in a 5 star class with robes, slippers, 2 flat screen TVs, plunge pool, court yard, king sized bedroom, separate lounge, huge bathroom, powder room and kitchen. The Park Regis staff are so helpful, obliging and friendly that it feels a bit unfair to give nitpicking criticism. However, like most Asian hotels, some little touches that one would expect in a western hotel are lacking. We had a nice plunge pool and court yard, but no outdoor furniture until we asked. The beautiful marble floor would have been much better if they had been mopped more often. The main pool was good, adequate for laps, but not quite as large as it looks in the brochures. The Hotel’s Padi Padi Restaurant had great service and was good value for all meals. We would recommend the al a carte ‘Aussie Breakfast’ at R71,000 (A$7) rather than the buffet at R145,000. The main Kuta shops and Kuta beach is within walking distance. However, for a less than R20,000 (A$2) you can get a meter taxi there or even to the main DFS area. Just a tip for those first timers to Bali: You can get a SUV or car and driver who will be your interpreter and tour guide for a 10 hour day for less than A$60 a day (even including fuel), we used Edhi from www.adventuretrans.net or phone in Bali 081328061771. For other tours and theme parks check them out on the internet first or because brochure price seem to be inflated by 50%, bargain for discounts with the many tour operators around the streets. Good value restaurants abound, but if you are in the Poppies Lane 1 area we recommend ‘Uns’, 'The Secret Garden' and ‘Poppies’. If we can get a similar deal for the pool rooms again, we will definitely stay at the Park Regis on our 11th visit to Bali.

Mostly great, but buyer beware!”
Overall our stay at the hotel was excellent. The morning breakfast buffet was delicious and had plenty of options and the hotel itself was surprisingly quiet for Kuta. The staff were very attentive and pleasant. However, there were a few problems. The first situation was that my husband and I were assigned a room with two twin beds rather than one large bed. This was slightly awkward for our 7th anniversary stay, but we accepted the situation because the hotel was fully booked for Eid. What bothered me most was the ridiculous (no, ludicrous) laundry service. It was the end of our stay in Bali and we were completely out of clothes. I asked about laundry service and having spent no more than $5 all vacation to have our laundry done, I didn't think about it when the staff member who collected our laundry rushed in, threw the clothes we wanted washed into a bag and thrust a form for me to sign. As we were on our way to breakfast, I shrugged and signed the form. I assumed that the price of our laundry would be the ridiculous 4 times the normal (already inflated for high-season) price of around $20USD. When our laundry was returned, it was nearly $60USD!! Worse was that we were charged for a number of items that we didn't even own. For example, we were charged for 3 sarongs and 7 pairs of boxer shorts (at a whopping $1.60-2.80 per article). Strange that they washed all of that when I only own 2 sarongs and my husband only brought 5 boxer shorts with him. I don't mind paying inflated prices at luxury resorts. I DO mind deliberately being cheated. So, while my stay was pleasant overall, I would warn anyone staying at the Park Regis in Bali to avoid any of their services. Don't eat in their restaurant. Don't use their spa. Don't use their laundry. Above all, don't let anyone have you sign anything when you're in a rush. While this was entirely my own fault, I just didn't expect a hotel with such a reputation to take advantage of its clients in that way.

Nice hotel, comfortable, resonable price”
It was really great experience staying in Park Regis Kuta Hotel. the first impression when I stepped in the hotel is very cozy and comfortable. quiet surrounding, polite and fast response customer service, and big room and view to swimming pool. This hotel has good architecture concept, they choosed furniture carefully, and makes this hotel looks wow and cozy. Nice food. we ordered nasi goreng special for breakfast, spaghetti and satay with rice for dinner, really really nice. :) Great room service, polite and fast. they served every single guest nicely with smile as well. thanks to putri, kristi, deans, and surya. overall This hotel is really nice, very recommended. keep it up. :)

9/10!!”
We stayed in the pool suite for four days three night. Was worried about the room as the review for it is not that optimal but the room turns out great!! Love the little private pool outside the room and it feels so good to enjoy the pool with some drinks on ur hand... The staff in the hotel is super friendly and helpful. Star ++ for them.. We tried the massage two times in the hotel because it is so good. Their signature massage is awesome and very relaxing. Well I suggest you to go for aromatic massage or Balinese massage if u want something more gentle.. The hotel has 24 hours room service and we ordered their food for a couple of time. I will give 7.5/10 for the food but the price is reasonable or you can even say it is cheap. The reason i gave 9/10 is because of the room door. We have trouble open it with our card for 5-6 times and has to go all the way to the reception to ask for help. But overall the experience is awesome! Really enjoy my stay at Park Regis Kuta!!

Value for money”
I start off with the room. We were given the ground end unit and it was bigger than we expected. The private pool was fantastic but the only downside is because our pool had another neighbour building "overseeing" it. I'm not sure if all other units had the same problem or not. While taking a dip and we did encountered a few people stopping for a cigarette on the corridor and looking at us in the pool in the same time thus making us felt a little too awkward. I mean it's supposed to be a "private" pool isnt it? The wi-fi connectivity is pretty strong as every room had it's own the router unlike most other hotels we've gone thru where it's shared among the corridor. So that's good news for those social junkies. Walking trip to Kuta Beach can be about 20 mins walk give or take a few because of traffic & fending off hawkers convincing you to buy their products. Just remember to turn right from the lobby and walk all the way straight. Thumbs up to Park Regis Kuta!!! We would definitely come back!

great view and perfect room size”
I had my business trip for WorldBank IMF in Bali. Since I did not get a hotel close to Nusa Dua, ill chose Park Regis Kuta Hotel. I got a very good price and I like the room! I have my own balcony with pool view and it was quiet and suitable for a stay :) there also some fast food restaurant nearby and some local place to eat by walking distance! highly recommended.

Excellent value for money”
My stay at Park Regis Kuta was surreal. The level of service provided by the staff was second to none. All in all, my holiday in Bali was such an amazing experience down the fact that the people of Bali are wonderful, warm and helpful. I would definitely visit Bali again thanks to my unforgettable experience at Park Regis Kuta Hotel.

Pool suite”
The hotel is value for money with friendly staffs and accessible to kuta beach via foot or bike which you can rent from the counter near the front desk. Room was good with working aircon, hot water and a very big comfy bed, no issue with the room or the pool in the room. The only problem was the breakfast. Breakfast buffet was a disappointment. Hotel need to not accomadate to only a certain group of tourist instead have more local Indonesian foods as people travel to taste the country’s local food and not others. Please work on it. Otherwise, everything else was great and would love to come back again. Thank you Park Regis Kuta!

Reasonable hotel with a great location ”
We stayed there for four nights, could simply go out and walk to the kuta beach where along side there was kuta beach walk shopping. The staffs tried to help us in every possible way. Their buffet breakfast was also a nice experience. We could get ride yo anywhere we want to roam around with the availability of the texi. Bali is such a nice place to visit. We loved bali more as we went dept of it. Thanks to park regis kuta for making our experience beautiful.

Great little stop-over”
This was our 3rd time at the Park Regis. Staff are always very attentive, check-in is super-fast, however check-out is sometimes very slow in waiting for your bags to be retrieved and the room checked. The beds in this hotel are absolutely superb for my comfort level and the linen very pristine and nice smelling. The buffet breakfast is adequate though the dining area is quite small for the size of the hotel. We checked in late and cought up with some Indo friends at the front bar of the hotel which is well stocked and open until 3am! Which was lovely as we had some catching up to do over a few drinks! They also set up the projector screen for us to watch the sports on the big screen in the outdoor bar area. This hotel has a spa, though we did not use this facility. The pool facility is ok, though its small and offers no privacy as it is in full view of all the interior facing rooms. I do recommend this hotel as a stop-over hotel maybe before flying out of the country as its close to the airport (10mins max) and also close to Kuta Galleria for some duty free shopping prior to leaving. For stays longer than this I recommend finding something with more facilities.

Cosy hotel in the heart of Kuta”
We stayed over at Park Regis Kuta Hotel for one night. The hotel room is comfortable and clean and definitely a great value for money. It is a 10-min walk to the major shopping and dining area. The only negative feedback is that air con was leaking which lacked maintenance. We were given the last room on level 2 facing the hotel restaurant and it was noisy. From 5am, we were woken by the conversations of hotel staff getting ready for breakfast and the clinking of utensils and cutleries.

Great Hotel and Location”
Loved this hotel. Great staff and location. Its a 15-20 minute walk to Kuta Beach, and I appreciated that it was away from the main tourist area. On the way, lots of Indonesian food available atl less than half the price you will pay for it in the tourist belt! Try the nasi goreng (fried rice), delicious Balinese lawar, buber (oatmeal consistency rice porridge), and many other dishes. The breakfast at the hotel is buffet style and excellent with a mix of Western and Indonesian dishes. Great way to start the day! There is a supermarket across the street ith a KFC and Domino's Pizza if you enjoy that stuff or have young kids, and a number of minimarts in the area. Shopping-wise. There are many shops around the beach, but all seem to sell the same tired stuff. But you can bargain. Do NOT accept the first price. Show an interest and walk away. The price will drop by half and THEN start to bargain! But I found the Indonesian craft shops at the Discovery Mall to be excellent with a big variety of inexpensive and better quality stuff. Start there. In general, Bali is wonderful but stay north if you want a good experience. Lake Batur is amazing if you stay along the caldera and get up early for the sunrise. Recommend The Cave Hotel with the lake view. Stunning morning sunrise with the fog rising from the lake! Also Ubud and the Jatiwih terrace rice fields (2-3 hours here just walk)! Also the Kecak dance at Uluwatu as the sun sets was a great way to end your trip to Bali. In short, I highly recommend this hotel if you will be staying in the Kuta area.

Great Hotel! ”
The hotel was located in a convenient location that is a 10mins walking distance from Kuta area. The rooms were nice and clean. KFC, Dominos Pizza and a 24 hours mini-mart just opposite the hotel. The frontline receptionist was friendly and accommodating. Good value for money. As a solo traveler, I enjoyed the privacy without any disturbance from anyone in the hotel. However, the breakfast spread was average and I hope that it can be improved. I hope that the menu will include more local Indonesian dishes. Overall, I'm satisfied with my stay at Park Regis Hotel and I look forward to my next trip to Bali.

Probably one of the best hotels to stay in Kuta”
Absolutely brilliant staff with Deddy and Ms Wulan from front office and Suraja from the Restyrant leading the way. This hotel is situated just a few clicks away from the hustle and bustle of Kuta beach and the pubs. This gives everyone a great chance to unwind and rest when it’s time. The most ‘happening Places’ in Kuta, eating places, shopping malls and smaller shops are all within a 15 minute walk. So if you are looking for a balanced holiday, Park Regis Kuta is a wonderful option.

Nice clean hotel, rooms are very modern and comfor”
I really enjoyed my stay at the Park Regis. It was a very easy check in and check out process. The staff brought a nice ice tea lemonade drink to greet my friend and I upon arrival. The concierge helped us to book scooters, navigate the island, get cabs and also showed us where we should go for the nightlife. I know this is what the concierge is suppose to do but these guys really went the extra mile to ensure we had everything that we needed. Also the restaurant food is very good breakfast, lunch and dinner. One night we had all 3 of our meals at the restaurant, good stuff! One downside was that when I was using the hotel computer the desk is in the open air lobby and at night I tended to get bit from a lot of mosquitoes while sitting at the desk using the computer. I'm not sure what they could do to fix that problem besides relocating the business center but most of the hotel facilities are in the open air. I would highly recommend Park Regis to anyone who likes luxury at bargain prices.

Excellent stay at Park Regis Kuta”
Had an excellent stay with amenities provided in the room just like any 5 star hotel in my standard room. All the staffs never fail to greet when u see them. Good & strong wifi through out the whole hotel. Breakfast was ok with some variety changes daily. It takes about 15 to 20 mins walk to beach & shopping area. Public taxi ride cost between IDR 27k to 30k from shopping area to hotel per way. If plan to go on customise tour, can book a 10hrs MPV for IDR450k from hotel transport desk. Food and local beer are reasonably priced in the hotel. I rate my stay at Park Regis as excellent & would stay again when I return to Bali.

AWESOME”
The stay with my significant others at Park Regis Kuta was better than what we expected. We booked for a deluxe pool suite for 4 nights and it was the best choice made. We fell in love with the place, and the room was huge with a bathroom and extra washroom. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. We had issue with our bathtub and problem was solved quickly and efficiently. I will definitely go back there the next time we go to Bali
