Excellent Staycation Destination”

We are very impressed and happy with the level of hospitality rendered by the reception counter. I went down to the hotel a few days earlier and requested for early check-in. The request was granted and made known only after I make a call in the morning to follow up. If the confirmation was received earlier, we would have been able to check-in much earlier to enjoy the great and beautifully designed facilities provided. Upon arrival, the check-in was smooth and pleasant. It was very thoughtful of the hotel to provide a kind care-kit for every guests. The room is very tidy and clean. It also has a view of the sky garden, though the plants do block much of the city view. But nevertheless, it felt like being in a jungle in the middle of the urban sprawl. We are very happy that they managed to arrange for the room with bathtub as we understand that not all the room type that we reserved comes with bath tub. We finally managed to have a great soak to relax my mind. We also managed to book the use of the gym and swimming pool much earlier. The only comment is that the pool water is frigid cold. We wished they would add some hot water into the pool. Aside from that, we also noticed the pavilion base were rusting very badly. Perhaps a good time to refurbish the pool to include a water heater perhaps. The gym is very spacious and comfortable to work out too. And the Lime Restaurant food is amazing. And it is very reasonably priced too considering the 30% off complimentary for stay-in guests. Overall, We had a very nice and relaxing stay and wished for it to have lasted longer. Perfect weekend staycation”

We were looking for a staycation hotel that would fit very contradicting criteria - it had to be away from the hustle and bustle, yet be centrally located so that getting around for food & drinks wouldn't be a problem. Parkroyal on Pickering, being strategically located in the marina bay area, was quiet on the weekend yet a walking distance to Club Street and Ann Siang Hill where all the best al fresco bars and cafes are situated at. At the same time, the hotel felt like a high-rise resort with its wooden panels, light wood decor in rooms, unique rice paddy inspired design and park / recreational area on the 5th storey. It was high up away from the noise on street level which made it feel like another world on its own. The bathroom was also modern and clean, which is a huge plus for us. Breakfast buffet featured a wide variety of food and staff was attentive and chirpy which had our day getting off to a good start. No complaints about this hotel at all, was an absolutely memorable stay and would definitely come again / recommend friends to Parkroyal on Pickering!

The perfect hotel for Singapore”

Parkroyal on Pickering is possibly the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in (and I have stayed in several, though not many, 5 star hotels before). The main reason is that it is so well designed and perfectly suits its setting. Singapore likes to call itself the "garden city" and this is certainly a "garden hotel". The hotel strikes a great balance between stone, wood, glass and vertical garden and the design carries over into the room. The result is a comfortable room that still feels modern and chic. For me personally and especially when travelling for leisure, memorable, thoughtful design will trump some patented mattress, showerhead or what have you any day. Another great plus is the infinity pool on the 5th floor with views of downtown Singapore. The location is great to visit Chinatown and Clarke Quay and is not too far from other sights. The nearest MRT station only has one line so you might have to transfer, but other than that I would say the location is very convenient. We did not try the hotel breakfast, restaurant or any other food features, so I cannot report on that. There is so much good food in Singapore, that I thought it would be a shame to have hotel food. What I can say is that there is only one restaurant in the lobby, so there are not many options for those so inclined. Judging by the menu, the breakfast looked pretty much par for the course. We did not have a lot of interaction with the hotel staff, but whenever we did they were very courteous in taking care of our luggage on arrival, calling cabs and handling inquiries.

fantastic hotel with perfect service ”

I stayed for one night in a deluxe room of the Parkroyal on Pickering in Singapore and really enjoyed every minute of it. The hotel is brand new and simply perfect!! Great convenient location, perfect friendly and honest service and staff, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, super modern and luxurious with absolutely everything you need. Gym and pool were also perfect with stunning views of Singapore city. The bfast and lunch were also very high quality and delicious. Overall this hotel is really fantastic and the design simply awesome!! All thumbs up and 100% recommended!!!

Always a good choice, good location, excellent rooms/facilities”

We have two favorite hotels in Singapore. These are hotels that give good value, are not over priced, over hyped, over branded non-hospitable hotels that offer good quality and good service for the money paid. Parkroyal on Pickering is one of these, If our business meetings are in this area and our focus is business rather than leisure we tend to choose this hotel in Singapore. The quirky (in a positive) way, design of the hotel are part of its attraction. Always recommend it to friends and business associates.

Amazing experience ”

I would not hesitate on recommending PARKROYAL On Pickering to anyone. Usually it is quite expensive, but we went to Singapore at a low season in February. The rooms were on sale. We opted to include breakfast, and it was more than I expected. Breakfast buffet was top notch with lots of choices (western, local flare, or Chinese). The infinity pool was not huge but sufficient. The best part is that not many people use the pool, so it almost feel like a private pool for me. Location of the hotel is great. It is right beside the subway station. The mall beside the hotel has a supermarket that opens late and a food court. If you like local flares, you can also find a local food hall/market next to the hotel. Chinatown is also within 5-10 min. walking distance. All that said, I would come back to this hotel anytime.

Staycation”

Enjoyed a great staycation at Parkroyal Collection Pickering. The only thing which I think hotel can try to improve is the lighting of room. My personal comment is that room is quite dark (insufficient lighting) during nighttime.

Relax & rejuvenate in the green”

It was such an excellent staycation and a night there wasn't quite enough. If I've friends coming to Singapore, I would highly recommend Park Royal on Pickering. From exterior to interior furnishing, I am awe by their design and the lush green feel. We had a corner room that gives a good city view of Singapore with large windows that completely feels like a studio apartment with living room, bedroom and bathroom. Room was big, comfortable with excellent bathroom facilities that comes with bathtub and rain shower. Large flat screen TV and Samsung sound system for your visual and audio pleasure with major international channels included. The room also comes with complimentary Nespresso machines and comprehensive mini-bar for your selection. Bed was big and comfortable for a good night rest. Gym facilities was huge and comprehensive but swimming pool is a little small and crowded bu definitely has a nice city view (don't expect MBS kind of view but it's good enough). Service staff was friendly and helpful and breakfast spread at LIME was excellent. Very pleasant stay and experience at this new hotel and I would love to go back there for staycation.

Highly Recommended”

I had an amazing stay at Parkroyal on Pickering, got a free upgrade to a junior suite. Fantastic view overlooking the city, really clean room which was wide and spacious. The room had a very nice touch of luxury which I'm sure everyone would enjoy. I really liked the design of the hotel and it's eco-friendly measures. Buffet breakfast was fantastic. Wide spread with very friendly staff. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone, be it families, couples or even gathering parties.

A serene escape in the city”

Our plan was to escape the busy city life over the weekend, and Parkroyal on Pickering provided the perfect solution and backdrop for a relaxing sojourn. The architecture itself is spectacular, with its use of wooden ripples and abundant greenery throughout its exterior and interiors. The high-ceiling lobby is bright with natural sunlight and cheerful in the day, and sexily mysterious in the night thanks to glittery glass features. We stayed in the executive king suite on the 14th floor and highly recommend this unit to guests desiring splendid views of the city and a spacious room to call home for a few days. We loved the floor-to-ceiling windows framed by a low wooden platform where we sat and read as the rain poured outside. We loved the deep soaking bath, from where we watched life go by below. We loved the large, comfortable bed that could easily rival other brand's signature plush beds. For our bellies, Lime restaurant on the ground floor is a delight. The lunch buffet we had featured an extensive line-up of local and international dishes. The local dishes were as authentic as what you'd find in the family-run restaurants in the neighbourhood, which is a rare achievement for hotel restaurants. We loved the dry fried laksa, Hokkien prawn mee and rojak. And if you fancy durians, the durian pengat is to die for. Pay more for Club Lounge access if you can. The space on the 16th floor is gorgeous all day long, and utterly romantic after sunset. It will also grant you a beautiful champagne brekkie.

Amazing Weekend in Singapore”

I booked the Park Royal on Pickering on friends recommendations and after reading reviews and I was very impressed. We arrived early and were able to relax in the orchid lounge and pool area until our room was ready. The staff were all very attentive and helpful and the hotel is beautiful! Well worth the money spent. There was a small delay with our room, and a little miscommunication about contacting me on cell phone when room was ready, but the room was great when we got into it! Room 1405 had a good view towards river and felt very spacious. I would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a bit of luxury when staying in Singapore, cant wait to visit again!

WOW...Location Location Location.”

We had a brief stay here on our way to Cambodia and Vietnam. Parkroyal on Pickering is a new hotel in a great location. The modern and eco friendly design makes this a landmark in Singapore. The staff are very helpful and you won't be disappointed at your stay here in modern well designed rooms.

Awesome Romantic Hotel”

We stayed in ParkRoyal On Pickering for our one year anniversary staycation. If you're looking for a romantic getaway, this is an amazing option. I was concerned about how small the pool looked but on a Saturday night, we had it all to ourselves. I doubt that you'll get the same intimacy in other massive hotel pools. The pool pods also lent an air of romance, we even saw a guy propose to his girlfriend in one of the terrace pods! Honestly, the staff were friendly and warm. When they learnt we were celebrating our anniversary, they sent up a cake and a card to congratulate us. The room was not massive but the layout and the views were so great you didn't really notice! The bed was luxurious and the toiletries were top-notch.

A hotel worth considering for next stay again”

Great location with easy access from hawker meal to restaurant dining, conveniently near to the MRT station (Chinatown). Booked the Junior Suite room, comes with a great view. Lastly, a dedicated thanks to the duty manager of the day, Mr Gary Seet, for his assistance on the role play for my proposal plan. For the this successful plan, my conclusion is i am glad that i have made the right choice for choosing Parkroyal on Pickering for this event. Most importantly, my wife-to-be enjoyed throughout the stay with the hotel.

Well deserved Eco Hotel tag”

The PARKROYAL On Pickering was absolutely fabulous, we wanted somewhere lavish to stay on the last night of our holidays before we flew back to Australia and we were not disappointed. The food was to die for, whatever the meal. So fab food, fab views and glorious pool area on the roof all supported with lots of gardens and plants. Eco friendly hotel it is.

We got the superior room at Parkroyal on Pickering which was already really large and very nice! The room is modern and clean. We also had a view of the hotel which was very nice. We also took the hotel breakfast that was amazing. Had a great selection and fresh food! Highly recommend this place to all travellers :)

A GREAT HOTEL”

We spend a week in singapore and had stayed in Carlton for one night, Marina Bay Sands for 3 nights and 2 nights here at Parkroyal. It was our favourite. The design of the room is very eco friendly, stylish and clean. The room is quite small comparatively. The bed is clean. Staff are very friendly and we felt super welcome by the welcoming drink. Location wise, I think Carlton was the best. It is a 3-4 minute walk to CHINATOWN station which makes it super convenient especially if you are going to SENTOSA. The whole building is so pretty and the view with the sky garden is super nice. The pool is a lot of fun too. I will definitely stay here next time I go to singapore!

Beautifully designed hotel with superb breakfast”

i am impressed from the moment i stepped at the lobby. The hotel lobby is set in a lush surroundings with vertical garden and water features in side while facing the street more greeneries are abound. My room is on the 13th floor and this gives me access to the bfast area on the 16th floor. The view from this bfast room is amazing and of course the design of this dining room is impeccable. Overall, i am very happy to have found this hotel in singapore. Having stayed in more than 20 different hotels in singapore, parkroyal is on top of my list now for my next trip to the city.

A very relaxing 2 night stay at a great hotel”

I spent 2 nights at the Park Royal on Pickering. It has just been built (opened Feb 2013). The building is very modern and stylish, and the whole hotel is covered in vertical walls of green plants. The staff are very friendly and attentive, and there was a more informal atmosphere to the place, despite being a medium-sized hotel. The room had very high ceilings with almost floor to ceiling windows, plus a nice day + night blind combination available. I slept very well in a large king size bed in total darkness with the electric night blind lowered. The food is also very good that I ordered via Room Service. All in all, I had a very pleasant and relaxing stay in a good priced hotel. I'm sure the prices will go up soon, but for now, it's excellent value.
