Fantastic Family Getaways.”
Our first amazing trip to Tioman island and stay 3D2N at Paya Beach Spa & Dive Resort seems too fast. Ride at 9am Blue Water ferry, took 1.5hrs smoothly reach Paya beach, got hotel staff welcoming us and take care our huge luggages. During our stay, all of the hotel staffs are really friendly, good Covid-19 SOP adherence and amazing front access bungalow that makes our family love it much. You guys should look for Nesan, the room manager of Paya Beach Resort, we are really lucky to meet him as he could arrange a private boat trip during CMCO and monsoon time, 4 hours ride on the private boat visiting duty free shop, two snorkeling and diving spot with a crystal clear water + coral fishes. Our second day to walk around at seaside and family jungle track to the rock fall river, it was amazing. A very exotic place for us to visit again after monsoon time. A special thanks to Nesan for his great hospitality when we were there, an amazing resort that worth to visit again soon. One more thing, the beach club restaurant is above than our expectation, reasonable price and all foods are really delicious!!! Good job, Nesan and Paya Beach Resort team! Villa Beach Front.. ”
We been here for 6 days and 5 nites for celebrate my husband birthday. My husband got a suprise of birthday cake during our dinner at the coffee house from the GM of the resort, Mr Sentil and The Team. We flatten with the hospitality given by Mr Sentil and the team.. Normally, we got to ask the hotel for the arrangement of suprise for someone that we love on their or our spcial date rite? But this one, i totally not involved.. Mr Sentil and The Team did suprised me and my husband at the same time. With such hospitality, personalised service, initiative and friendly staff, i can say, this resort is full of gems.. For first time experienced of Tioman Island, i felt worth paying every penny spent.. Food is nice. Go for ala carte menu if u dont like the buffet. The price is resonable. Not expensive if compare to others Seafood restaurant such as Aunty Paya Seafood Restaurant located behind the resort. Beach Bar is good place to hang up and drink your beer till midnite. its cheap. Tioman is duty free island.. Last but not least, i give 10/10 to Mr Sentil and the Team.. Will definitely come back again soon..

He really knows what the guest needs and always adjust as per the guest requirement, he is the best manager I have seen so far and a real GEM of the Paya resort. Regarding the resort, all the facilities are excellent whether the room, restaurant , or pool. All the hotel staff are really cooperative and always ready to help. Even they took us for the trekking , arranged the special vegetarian meals, life jackets and many other things . I am sure one will not regret the decision to visit the Paya resort, a good destination to experience beach, sea and flora n fauna. Happy holidays.

Best villa ever!! ”
My husband and I booked the Villa & stayed there for 5nights - It was super value for money!! Check in was fuss free and we were given the room slightly earlier than expected! There was a Huge bathtub at balcony and chilling at the balcony was an amazing experience (just to enjoy the wind + sounds of the sea). We would snorkel off the beach / kayak off the beach, there would be beautiful schools of fish there. The food was great, activities were also pretty easy to book. Would recommend to go in a larger group of 6-10 so that you can charter your own boat out (some activities require minimum pax). I would definitely be back! Thanks Paya.

Pros: Near jetty, staff picked up the luggage too Friendly staff at reception & tour package booking Good breakfast buffet Lots of other eateries nearby including ikan bakar, abc, burger, tomyam Easy to book boat for island hopping, snorkelling & diving Cons: Room cleanliness can be improved especially cups and kettle Pool need to be service/cleaned regularly Returning ferry to Mersing is too early in the morning, better take ferry from Tg Gemok

Paya Beach Resort”
Simple huts, but spacious Standard Beach front side, with bathroom with shower, air conditioning and wall fan. The room has 1 wooden queen size bed and 2 single beds, which can be connected. The best is the view on the sea and close to few diving centres. Food in Paya Restaurant is basic, but ok. Breakfast could be better, however we brought with us good tea and coffee and some snacks for 4 days. The resort has swimming pool and spa and you can refill your water bottle for free. The Manager of the resort is very friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend for divers to stay at Paya Beach resort.

Beach holiday with family ”
The resort is well kept & clean. Food is excellent. Staff was always accomadating. Snorkelling activities by resort is satisfying. The AV ride is thrilling and enjoyed very much. Left my wallet in the room during checkout & the housekeeping staff returned immediately. Beach is clean & clear. Will definitely return again. Older children enjoyed the trip too.

Hotel located beside the excellent beach with great sea view and comfortable room. Tons of onboard activities provide by the hotel at a good price. It would be best if the hotel room comes with room Wifi as Digi is not working on the island.

Beachfront deluxe room ”
The room is clean, bed is comfortable, breakfast is good. But they have to improve on snorkelling trip punctuality. We are basically the last few bunch to leave the island in the morning. They should have fixed a time of departure for everyone to follow. We waited for 1.5hours for some other guests to finish their breakfast and it was a total waste of time.

Went to Paya Beach Spa with my wife. Price is good. Location is nice. Got a small island nearby that can be reached using Canoe. My room aircond is not working on one of the night, I dont expect anything as it was late, but they actually game me another room , at 12 midnight. Really appreciate that. Would like to give all the staff a compliment. The staff at the counter is very helpful, Ayu if im not mistaken, the cafe staff is friendly, and the one handling the trip/canoe is very helpful as well, Ervian i think. Thanks for the wonderful time.

Best for diver group travels”
The location is very private, got only 2 resorts here. Very suitable for divers or anyone who wants to discover scuba diving. The beach here is SUPER NICE & PRETTY. Water crystal clear! Perfect for those that really like beach & sea activities. The bar ambience is nice, however the seafood can be a bit pricey but it was delicious! Got few other village stall that sells food & beverages, however the village here is very small & very quite at night. Nightlife is only the beach bar in front of the resort.

Great stay, beautiful place for snorkeling, diving, jungle walks”
We stayed 5 days with 3 girls in puberty and they loved it and so did we. The lodges were just fine, and when in one the airco stopped working, personnel got to work immediately and when they couldn't fix it, we got another lodge nearby. Staff are super friendly and all requests are acted upon immediately. The food from the buffet is fine, the food in the restaurant really good. The swimming pool is clean, the home reef is great for snorkeling, we even saw shark and turtle snorkeling. The diving club is great fun, Matt is a great instructor and we dived at beautiful sites. The yoga, the spa and the pool tables filled in the gaps. Great stay.

We had room with lake view,cozzy n quiet,i like it more compare to sea view chalet.Room are overall clean n tidy wt cleaner came every day. Matters are kinda old but still comfortablity are ok,only one of the single bed are too old u can feel the springs pocket clearly. Environment are clean n well organize,all staff are friendly even the maintenance staff. Breakfast are very disappointed,really not match the standard. Seriously needed improvement. Clean beaches nice to hv sunbathing n quiet chilling time. (actually,we all needed to be a responsibility traveler,keep the cleanliness of the beaches n the sea) Several dive shop here,i strongly recommend Divers Cove at Paya beach resort.Izaq and Matt,very professional n friendly Dive master. I took a refreshing dive wt Izaq at pool before dive due to my last dive was already a year ago He did a good job to make sure I'm totally ready,n boost my confidence as well(i had equalize problem due to bad experience with shitty dm when i took my first open water long ago ).Matt are taking good care of us n we had good dive together,i felt calm n relaxed to dive wt. This is really important to me. The snorkeling in front of the beaches,coral are back to live more n beautiful then before now due to the climate change,quite many beautiful large coral to see,we also saw turtle n young black tips here around the small rocky island. Just to be aware there's many rocks on coastline,u can go by jetty to snorkeling when its low tide. Duty free shop are available here,so,enjoy cheap chilling beers as u like.(closed at 10pm) Restaurant are available in front of jetty n also at the back of the paya beach resort. Weekend are very crowded. Jungle tracking are a must do to witness the awesomely beautiful mother willow tree (also name:Ficus Benjamina),villages claim she has been 300/400+ years old, really beautiful. Stay for 3 days 2 night on 13th-15th July 2020. Book for beachfront room. Seaview. In front of beach. Very beautiful view.. Near with cafe, easy to going everywhere. A pleasant surprise ”
From reviews, I was expecting something lesser and maybe it did lower my expectations. I found the chalet charming, though not perfect. I like the garden surrounding it very much. Pros - I like Kg paya, there's quite a few food choices outside of the hotel. You can hike at a waterfall nearby. The staff are friendly. Cons - there is no Internet here. Forget WiFi, my telco celcom failed me. It worked better at some areas (eg lobby) - TV supposed to have more channels but we only had 2 most of the time. -The bathroom is a little dated but it works. Hot water runs out when all the chalets in our block are occupied (4 chalets in ours). -Bottled water is not replenished daily. However there's a kettle and drinking water at the restaurant if you need a refill. -no mini fridge in room. Found out later its only available for deluxe and above. -we did ask staff about ferry reaching the island. While we understand that they can't arrange the booking for us, it would have been nice if they could advise us of our options. We only found out there's a private ferry option (catafree) on the day we arrived at the mersing jetty.

Everything is beautiful and excellent in Paya Resort. F&B in Paya resort restaurant is very affordable, don't worry about the price, it's not like other hotel & resort price. You can enjoy your meal at the Restaurant in front of the beautiful beach everyday. Will definitely come back and can't wait to be back and stay again at Paya Resort next year after Monsoon

Best Vacation Ever!”
I booked 3 standard rooms for my family just before the school holidays commenced. The rooms were big and nice and had small verandas where we get to hangout until late at night. The food at the cafe was really good. The spa. Omg the spa was the highlight. I highly recommend to book a massage slot at night after a day filled with activities. It was really, really nice.
