An average Hotel”

The hotel was good and at a prime location hardly 12-20mins away from Mumbai airport. The breakfast buffet could have been better very less option offered. Secondly everything is chargeable.. even the basic stuff like ice cubes I have stayed in other 5 n 4 star hotels who provide all this complimentary. Even water they just kept a half litre bottle at least 1 liter should be offered. Toiletries you have to call for it in case anything is missing. If any new customer has checked in they should ensure that toiletries are in place. Over all an average hotel. Would recommend only if you have to stay close to the airport.. else there r better options

great property.. VFM”

nice place.. nice rooms.. nice food.. nice staff... specially got along well with Mr. Askok Vishwakarma.. has become like a friend in hotel.. would stay here whenever in mumbai..

Noisy music”

The hotel looks fantastic in the photos and was very impressive in style, decor, cleanliness and easy check in. We were picked up from the airport and transferred back, which was why we chose this hotel. The con the hotel is situated above a music venue that plays the music so loud we could hear it clearly in our room on 6th floor, even items of furniture were vibrating in our room. It was impossible to sleep. The second night was worse and the music got louder after 1am and continued till 4 30am. I phoned reception a few times led to believe it would stop. The hotel should make people aware of this before they book. They should at least provide ear plugs. The young man on reception the next morning was a credit to the hotel and showed empathy and the manager let us have a later check out due to a need to catch up on sleep. Apparently not all the guests notice the noice. So If you are young , enjoy late nights and like heavy dance, base music you will love it.

Recommend - with some hesitation”

The good points - the room is very well appointed, with sound-proofed windows capable of blocking virtually all the street noise. The hotel was clean, the room had all the amenities and extras you'd expect in a 4 star hotel. The bad points - the pre-paid hotel shuttle didn't come when ordered (they claim it came and went) and the double bed I'd booked turned out to be twins - and I haven't been short enough to fit in one of those for over 50 years! Front desk staff was indifferent and, when asked if the room was on the non-street side and whether the bed was a double, she replied "yes" to both - both answers patently untrue! Very convenient to the airport. All in all, if you get a competent reception at the front desk, this would be a great place to stay!

Excellent”

Good hotel, great location - view from the 6th floor was amazing ! Amenities were great too. Only upset with the service - staff didn't provide us bathrob , the room key didn't work - had to go down twice to call someone to help. Entered the room and the phone line was also dead - Lights in the room were flickering due to being faulty.

Fantastic for short term stay close to the airport ”

Best part of it is the location, 15 mins to the airport and 5 min walk to the new metro station. The hotel is well decked up and clean. The staff were super helpful, courteous and helped with everything. A suggestion, we do see a lot of wastage of water in the bathrooms, maybe could use better shower heads and control the water flow. Overall a good stay.

Noise ”

New Years eve, They were playing loudly music with very high bass, it was vibrating the ceiling in our room, the manager said they can't turn the bass sound down, which asked them several times to turn bass down, Played all night until 5:00am The manager said we can move us at 12:00 midnight to another room which I was not on, They manager was ignorant all asked them to turn down or off the bass sound. Poor Service”

Facilities are okay, but their services are too slow Had to call 3 times to receive a water bottle ordered together with dinner, finally received after around 4 hours Food menu is expensive, price shown is GST exclusive No one assisted to move luggages to room during check in, but they did when we checked out (looks like they wanted my rating) Front office staff was not friendly

Close to airport”

very helpful staff, thank you for letting us check in early! breakfast is excellent, room is very spacious and adequate for 3 people. Has a pub and a club in the building. Staff are very friendly and efficient. The driver was soooo helpful, what a good guy! Assisted us with all our touring questions - thank you!

Excellent property”

small but great property... only thing they need to take care of is the sound of disco.. it bugs till late night a bit.. but still.. overall a great value for money and nice property.. liked it.. will stay there further ahead too..

Staff not efficient.”

Good location, decent rooms and amenities but staff very slack. I had checked in there 2 weeks before and they could not find my records on their system. I had to carry my luggage to my room myself despite one staff member being around and standing near the lift and looking at me! Lights in corridors are on sensors so you arrive in a dark corridor when the lift door opens. The background music in the corridors is repetitive and monotonous and worse can be heard inside the room till around 22hrs. Very loud music from the bar on the 1st floor could be heard from my 4th floor room and I could not sleep early even thought I had to leave at 03hrs to catch up my flight. Other guests were regularly walking in the corridors and talking so loudly that i could hear all that they were saying from my bed. The hotel room and amenities are good but there is no soundproofing at all and most staff members are not very service conscious.

2 days stay -Not value for money”

As a business traveller.. I would expect the wifi to work and a healthy breakfast to be served. Though the IT person came in to solve wifi issues.. He could not actually solve the problem. The breakfast was horrible. Cold idli and vada with sweet sambar and spoiled chutney. For such an expensive room in Mumbai ill be expecting a hot and better breakfast spread.

Cheat and Fraudulent ”

I booked 2 rooms for 1 night near airport at peninsula redpine hotel (looking at the ratings), as we had flight next morning . I booked rooms for an extra large bed & had also mentioned in the “special request “ to the hotel . What I got was twin beds in both the rooms , even after requesting for change of rooms as the bed wasn’t the one which I wanted, they hanged up the phone where the cost of the room with join bed and twin bed was same and the hotel was half empty . They didn’t bothered to even listen to our request. Second , they handed me bill of Rs 1000 extra of room service, which wasn’t even ours ( of some other room ) & asked me to pay for things which wasn’t even ordered by me . Third , the service by staff is very very slow . , especially people sitting at reception & Restaurant/dining. Fourth , the wifi doesn’t work. It will keep asking you to fill a long form for the wifi & once you disconnect you will have to fill it again , plus with lowest signal possible. Staying with family here is not advisable according to me and is not safe as well as it is more than half empty and there’s no proper service for anything. Staffs are horrendous.

Good”

Everything good except hotel policy to not allow visitors to room. I had several short business meetings and the reception denied the visitors to visit my room. Facility is so pathetic that they do not provide any quiet place to sit and discuss. The rooftop restaurent is very noisy and impossible to conduct business meetings. Basically the hotel is not meant for business stay. I have stayed in Mirage hotel just across the road and they have nice quiet lobby to sit and discuss, hold short meetings.

Exceptional”

Outstanding location. Convenient two ways shuttle bus from and to airport is. Excellent and delicious breakfast. Pleasant, courteous and helpful staff. Will come back again.

Good hotel”

The hotel is located near the airport. The rooms are good and clean. The hotel is right next to a metro line and in the immediate vicinity of several slums.

Good location, service but couldn't sleep due to loud music at night”

After a long 17 hour non stop flight, all you want is a good night's sleep. But, couldn't get that until 2am with the loud music playing. It was so load that even wooden walls kept vibrating. Management needs to also think about customers staying in hotel than just party customers.

hotel overall is very good however it is has no sound proof walls, noise from first floor reaching till fifth floor.
