IT'S GOOD, (BUT) WHEN I BOOK THE HOTEL BY ONLINE, I REQUEST A ROOM WHICH CAN C THE MOUNTAIN FROM THE ROOM, BUT I NEVER GET THE ROOM LIKE THAT - SO I JUST UNHAPPY WITH THAT... HOPE NEXT TIME I GET THE ROOM LIKE WHAT I REQUEST

I stayed at one of it's chalets. The chalet was facing mount Kinabalu and we could see mount Kinabalu clearly from the chalet. The chalet was clean with minimum amenities. No safe box in the room which means you need to travel with all your important stuff around.

we liked staying at the seventh floor with amazing mount Kinabalu, pinetress very good see in our window during the weekend it was nice to have buffet breakfast, super deal! :) during the weekdays is just a la carte breakfast, where nasi lemak is also tasty

Great location to view the nicely and good sight for family.. What's the only problems is the hot water in bathroom is very cold.. And the bathtub was block, the water can't go in.. Have good service of room boy and dining service.

we had stayed in chalet 7 & 8. the location is abt 1km up the mountain from the kundasang town. the chalets are on the other side of the road from the hotel itself with a bridge between. there is nothing much to roam around except enjoying the complete natural bliss.
Anil from India

Very pleasant stay, room was adequate. The view of Mount Kinabalu from the room's balcony is incredible especially early in the morning and on clear sunny days. A good stay if you were to enjoy the best that nature has to offer.

Very good”
Nice view and surrounding. Staff is friendly. Massage and spa is a must thing to do here (at night time since theres nothing much you can do).. pack light if you choose to stay at the chalet as you have to pass thru a suspended bridge and stairs to get to the chalet - not easy to to tow luggage. Overall is ok

One of the best in Kundasang”
I went there last Raya holiday with my family. Pros: -The location is easy to reach, got parking spot, a lot of relaxing spot outside hotel. -I got a quite spacious room, clean room and toilet -The enviroment is very comforting for traveller. Cons: -Do they have any cons, probably not. Maybe a bit expensive for some people, but trust me, it is worth every penny. -Ok I got 1, there are no buffet style breakfast, everything is a la carte. Conclusion: My objective to kundasang is to relax with my family, and this place is it. I feel really happy during my stay. I highly recomend this place for you guys. Thanks.

Worst "hotel" ”
It was my first ever experience in a "hotel" without an aircon. Our first room had a musky smell (obviously from the dirty stained carpet flooring), toilet bowl without a seat cover (what a hotel standard). So, we requested a change of room. The second room was an intermediate room, with 2 poorly insulated connecting doors, yes you're right there are 2 connecting doors. We heard clearly the conversation, even the horrible snoring from the guest next door. Noises were clearer when windows were forced to wide open for better ventilation. Worth for money? Definitely no. It cost rm180/night without breakfast, cleanliness, aircon & privacy. Please update the marketing photos in Agoda as they are misleading. Thank you.

Recommended hotel in Kundasang.”
Location is acceptable for us with own transportation. Hotel is old, but the hotel management managed to keep it good for our stay. Staff were friendly especially at the reception. As our stay was for one night, we just wanna have a good night sleep and it went well. The view was breathtaking especially on early morning, a million thanks to the hotel of fulfilling our request to have a room with a Mount Kinabalu view.

A room with a view”
Location, friendly staff & nice food
It was such a memorable stay as always knowingly that the resort is situated on a hill overlooking the majestic Mount Kinabalu, hence having one of the best view points in Kundasang to enjoy the cold air watching sunrise & sunset with the mountain in full view. The not so clean room, with stained smelly carpet was a bit of a let down though. Nevertheless, it didn't spoil the experience as a whole. You should also try the challet but it's a bit of a climb, the view makes it all worth it. Food was also nice with all the fresh produce from the farms nearby. Highly recommended!

Very nice place and great view of Mount Kinabalu. Only issue was bright exit light in room above door. Take a power strip only one outlet. I forgot iPad in lobby and they immediately called us and let us know they had at desk.

Great view, close to Kundasang, easy to find
I arrived at the hotel on a bad weather day. But the next morning, the weather has improved, and when I opened the window i was thrilled to see Mt Kinabalu right in front of my face! Overall it was nice, but the only thing that bothered me was the fact that the room has this musky smell. Just open the window and you'll be fine.

Great location and absolutely cold ”
The food, the cleanliness and the smiles from the staff
We stayed a night there thinking that we would see the mighty peak of Mount KK. However, she was hidden behind the fogs and clouds throughout the day and only come out at night when the sky cleared. PROS The staffs are really professional and heart warming. They are very warm towards the guests, smiles whenever can and they really help you when you have any inquiries without hesitation. The bathroom/toilet provided at the lobby was clean although the water can be biting cold. My whole family were blown away from the dinner and breakfast buffet because it was THAT good! It wasn't even expensive to compare with those in the city but the quality was superb. CONS Parking spaces are limited. The chalet bathroom heater sometimes work and sometimes not. Don't be surprise when you walk into the chalet and found not much amenities were provided because it was a really simple two bedded and one bathroom kinda chalet. Other than the main restaurant, there isn't any other cafes available in the hotel itself. CONCLUSIONS We are all very happy with our trip there. The most memorable would be the food. We felt right at home despite the biting cold. We would wish that they will do some maintenance of the bathroom in the chalets or at least provide more space to put our things.

Hotel with Magnificient Mountain View”
Hotel with temperate climate and excellent views of mountains and valleys
despite a little run down the hotel offered a very comfortable, quiet and unique stay as the relatively high altitude provided a temperate-like climate and magnificent views of mountain (mount kinabalu) and vegetable farms of the kundasang valley. the hotel park area is lushed with flower plants and facilitated with seats for viewing, relaxing and reading.
