Good location: near enough for 15 mins walk from jetty, but far enough to get away from the party noises Nice hotel design: wonderful lobby and breakfast next to the sea, with hilly bungalow style villas high enough to oversee the open sea.

Excellent, the hotel is in front of the beach; it has marvellous gardens, and additionally is very near to the centre (5 minutes walking)

We stayed in the standard rooms... and they were stunning! Beautiful location, ceramic floors, decks with views, massive wooden framed bed. One of the few hotels I've stayed in where it is actually as nice as it looks in the photos!

Very nice hotel with amazing view on Phi Phi Leh. Great location 15 minutes walk to the Tonsai village- far enough from the noise but close enough to walk every day. 15 minutes walk to Long beach. Perfect for couples. Private beach. Very recommended.

Super resort if you like walking”
As the title says for me I like have to walk a little to the central phi phi day/nightlife. It’s not a far walk about 10 mins but the quietness at night pays off for it when you return home. You could hear a pin drop it’s so quiet. I stayed on this island in 2006 and I was gob smacked at how this island has evolved over 12 years. McDonalds is now here! Back to the hotel review; we got picked up directly from the pier in a long tail boat for free, they had reps with the resort banners so look for them; rooms are excellent and particularly our room with the amazing view of phi phi lay it’s A106. Shower was good with the usual amenities, safe included and easy to use. Balcony’s are spacious enough and two other couples with us, joined our balcony for few beers. Breakfast was decent, wouldn’t say it was amazing. Eggs/Omelettes are made to order which is great as last place I stayed didn’t have this. Brown soda bread toasted was great, recommend that. Didn’t try coffee or tea as I brought my own Rooibos tea bags from home, knew they wouldn’t have them in Thailand. Bacon didn’t look great and one day they replaced bacon with onion rings, ha! Used laundry service just along the beach at the resort restaurant 60baht/kg, takes one day. They won’t send it to your room you need to pay in advance and pick up from them. Apart from that no problems. They also rent snorkels and fins for 100baht/day which can save you buying from the street vendors for 250 baht (don’t pay more than that unless your in a professional dive shop). Overall great place to stay just

Pros The view and location The staff were helpful and friendly Cons The villas were outdated and not very clean. In need of maintenance. Lots of cracks in our room which had been patched over(not very well) sliding mosquito screen door did not work. Bathroom was not very inviting and clean looking. Restaurant food not very nice. Buffet breakfast we did not eat as it was cold and was not very nice. Back kitchen looked dirty.

Amazing view, spacious bright room and balcony with and very good conditioning system also really good buffet breakfast and kind staff. On the con side, quite expensive place and shower was not running if held on hanger, beach towels provided with the deposit. Also be aware of tour services offered next to hotel reception: my bf had bought a snorkelling tour for the afternoon and omce he showed up he was told that it would not happen since he was alone.. he had no problems arranging it in the town later on.

          Great view!”
Wonderful resort that's a little far off from the pier, about 15 - 20mins walk away. However they do provide free long tail boat to/fro pier on check-in/check-out days, just look out for their guy with the hotel sign, actually all the hotels provide free long tail shuttle so no need to call them beforehand. Read other reviews about people saying its a really long walk depending which room you book etc but totally not to worry, they also provide free shuttle to your room and my room was 5mins walk away with slight slopes from the reception. I guess the only people that will have problems are really old travelers that or folks with mobility issues. As for the pool its perfectly fine, again the people complaining and must be expecting 5* intl standards then they should book other hotels that cost 3 times more instead. It's clean, with enough lounge chairs around, a pool bar and adequate pool size for a nice dip. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and was the highlight of our trip!

Picture perfect resort a walking distance away from the main nightlife”
The resort is on the less crowded side of Phi Phi. The staff was really friendly and the on-location restaurant offers a good menu. The hotel has a boat transfer from (or to) the pier if you decide to take the ferry to the islands. The pool has seen better days, but with picture-perfect beaches nearby it shouldn't be a problem. Overall a great experience.

Pros - Location in the middle of noisy area and peaceful beach. Nice view facing the sea. They have small private beach, sufficient for resting calmly. Cons - Shuttle quite slow to respond if you need them. Swimming pool is like a abandon area. Towel quite dirty.

It is like a small jungle. A hotel in the middle of nature. 15 min walk from the city. Really nice and clean, good view and quiet. Only bad thing was the pool with dirty water and some bungalos were really far away on the hill. We stayed there 8 days and it was a great opportunity to loose weight. :D

The resort is very well positioned, close to restaurant and shopping area but far (20-30 mini walk) from the noisy party places. The room(105a) was nice, big with an amazing terrace and seaview. We also had a small private beach less than 1 minutes walk that had a treehouse bar and 2 swings on the beach. Staff was very helpful and friendly,, perfect to stay in Phi Phi!

          Best location for many reasons”
Beautiful garden grounds, privacy, close enough to walk to "town" but far enough away for peace and quiet. Great sunset views plus spectacular cliff faces across the bay. Longtail boat transfer included from ferry pier (which you can't get if staying on the other side of the isthmus), great bonus. Breakfast was good. They have 3 separate sandy beaches, snorkeling good in the morning before the boat traffic gets busy. Easy to sign up for excursions where you leave right from their beach the next day. Friendly staff. We stayed in the Premier part, which has cabins that are a bit further apart from each other. Bit longer walk and appears to be the older phase of the resort, but plenty of privacy and garden walkways. We thought the pictures we saw when booking didn't do it justice - it is nicer than we expected. We thoroughly enjoyed the place. Highly recommended.

Such a waste that we only stayed here for one night as we were given a room that was strategically placed with awesome breathtaking views! Will definitely come back though not sure if we will be given the same room as other rooms will definitely have different views from the balcony. Need to walk for about 10-15 mins for food. Nice resort for couples.

          A good stay”
The view from the balcony was truly beautiful. Far enough away from the noise, but easy access to tourist village as well as Long Beach.
I took my 64 year old parents to Arayaburi Resort after having been to Koh Phi Phi a couple of times before. I chose this place for the location away from the noise and the view. Although it was a bit difficult walking the steep slopes to the room, we had a great stay and would certainly go back. The location is great. It's quiet and has a nice beach of it's own, but also is a 10 minute walk to Long Beach. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the main tourist village as well. The room was very spacious and clean. It was big enough to easily handle the extra bed. It had a nice flat-screen tv with satellite which was a plus. The best part of the room was the covered balcony with a breathtaking view of Koh Phi Phi Leh. The food at the restaurant was also quite good, was right on the beach, and offered great views as well. The service was good, but not great. We had a bit of trouble getting the passenger cart to come to our room, but the walk was doable even when slightly wet, footing on the path was not a problem. I thought it was a very good value (we went mid-October at low season prices). The weather was also beautiful for us with only one day out of six with any significant rain.

          Location, sightview, nice romatic atmosphere
Great stay. We didn't have our expectations sky high with Phi Phi, but this place was very nice. It's away from the centre of the village, but still at walking distance. Just great. The bungallows are very nice, nice romantic atmosphere. You have the option for swimming pool, and the beach. But the beach just there is quite bad. Small, not properly preserved. Oh, well swimming pool was good. We had to walk a bit to our room, which was fine with all the nature, but the place can have some very steep ways. So maybe for more senior guests not appropriatte (although they have some guys driving people around). Breakfast was quite good, lots of variety. Staff friendly as well

          Location is the key”
My selection was very much based on the desire for a property in a quiet location while also being able to walk to Tonsai. This hotel fit the bill and once we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by just how great a location it has. You are 10 mins walk to the start of Tonsai and about 20 from the centre, with bars & restaurants along the way. Great for options in the evening. In the day you have a variety of options when it comes to beaches and the best can be found by heading left towards Longbeach. We were allocated a Deluxe Villa with a partial sea view which is the 3rd row back from the sea. Rooms are spacious and clean, in light colours and with ample storage. The large balcony and view are a definite height point. Things to be aware of; the property in set on a hillside with some pretty steep walks to the rooms. Breackfast was a 3 star standard spread with mix of Asian and western fare and an ahh station. Bit of maintenance required on a few places but not too much

I stayed here previously and said that I wanted a room facing the ocean like I had last time. The staff suggested that I book through Agoda as it is a better price. After having checked which room I stayed in previously, they advised me to book a delux room. I did this and was not given a direct ocean facing room as this is now super delux. They could have mentioned this when I was booking. Otherwise the stay was fine. Good location away from the noise.

          A nice compromise”
This hotel is a decent compromise inbetween the backpackers jungle of downtown Tonsai and the remote high end establishments. The room was ver clean, with a great balcony and a very appreciated mosquito screen. The matress was hard, the fan and a/c working fine. Bathroom was quite basic but featured a large and clean shower. The dowsides to the place are *the public areas (especially the reception and the bar the beach) which do look like a Pakistani provincal docking bus station. Dirty, untidy, full of stray cats and barely accessible *the constant "ballet" of longtail boats which cruise around the bay during the day and cause so much noise you sometimes have the feeling that you're staying at some Motel6 by the highway.
