Great stay on the calm side of the island”
We booked a last minute 3 night stay at phi phi phu chalet resort and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff is really nice and goes out of their way to make your stay pleasant. Our room was more like an apartment (room 923) and the minibar (Except alcohol) is free. The pool is great as well! The only downside is that the ferry boat from the main pier on phi phi is only free on check in. Check out is 250 thb per person. For a hotel at this price point this should be free. Scuba diving and kayaks are available for rent and the reef in front of the hotel is great for spotting the waterlife we saw plenty of fish and some fish are even more curious about us than we ever could be about them 😁. All in all a great stay and we would stay here again, the view from your room at 6.15 AM will explain much more than I can tell in a small review

Peaceful getaway - with just enough options in the nearby village”
We stayed at Phu Chalet for a 5 day trip to explore Phi phi don island. The hotel is peaceful and quite, away from the busy tonsai bay, where the ferry arrived. There is a small village just minutes away from the hotel where you can do shopping, drinking eating and an amazing long strip of white sandy beach - the hotel own beach is also nice and incredible for snorkling (the boat trips to phi phi lee are great for snorkling too, but this was such a pleasent surpise to have an amzing coral reef just on our doorstep..) the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly - honest tips on what you should and shouldnt do and great recommendations. Delicious food in the restaurant - and if you compare the prices to the nearby village you will not pay much more. We also did a hike to Tonsai, throuh the islands mountains and the jungle - passing by the authentic village an way of life of the locals. We will definitely come back to this resort as it is just the right amount of hidden away and livley.

Secluded Paradise.... ”
If you are looking for a secluded romantic getaway, Phi Phi Phu Chalet is for you. A 30 minute long boat ride from Tongsai Pier, the Phi Phi Phu Chalet is nestled in a secluded part of the island. The service is impeccable, the rooms are beautiful, the food and drinks are very good and reasonably priced and the swimming pool is great. If you are looking for a buzzing party scene and a variety of restaurants to try then this place is not for you. If you are looking for peace and serenity where you really feel like you are away from it all, then go.

Beautiful Resort”
Beautiful resort! Views from all chalets were gorgeous. Very very clean kind of felt like glamping (glamorous camping) at times. Very secluded and away from all of the Phi Phi tourist noise, if that is what you're looking for. Food is also excellent and great value. A few things one should keep in mind before booking: this resort is completely outside meaning, you are in the jungle so there will be visits from critters - insect repellent is MUST! Since the resort is built on the edge of a mountain there are several stairs to get around so if you have a physical impediment that makes it difficult to climb stairs do not book here. Be aware that there is no private beach as advertised - the beach is a 10-15 minute walk into the village. If you like to charge your food and drinks to your room like I do then ensure that at the end of your stay you calculate your bill yourself based on your receipts. They use an old school way of charging and they had other charged us 1000 baht which I had to get adjusted. Would highly recommend.

Excellent spot for quiet relaxation”
This place is gorgeous, and very secluded and quiet. Little village about 10-15minute walk has a few fun bars, food, massage, shops. Beautiful infinity pool, and was like our own private resort because apparently, people just kind of stay in their cottages a lot. Did an island-hopping and snorkeling tour, which was fun. Only drawback, they say in their description that there is a private beach. That isn't really true, and was a bit disappointing. There is a tiny strip of land that is very rocky when the tide is out, and completely under water when the tide comes in. Also, not an issue for me, but could be for some - there are a ton of stairs. The entire staff is incredibly nice. One caution regarding travel within SE Asia - AirAsia is frequently quite late, both arriving and departing (was traveling from Kuala Lumpur). I arrived too late to catch the last boat out to Koh Phi Phi the afternoon I arrived, so I missed the first night of my booking. The hotel won't do refunds, period.

Heavenly Paradise”
This is the second year we have returned to Phi Phi Pu Chalet, this time we brought four of our friends. It is exactly as we remembered, from the moment we stepped of the long boat relaxation began. A warm cortious greeting from the staff, now feels like family, seriously you need to visit this place. There is a short walk to the beach, and I'm sure other reviews will mention this, however they may forget to say how beautiful the walk is. I could continue to write numerous rings explaining this wonderful place, however it won't do it justice. Trust me visit Phi Phi Pu Chalet and you will never forget it x

Beautiful views”
Phi Phi Phu Chalet is very beautiful with a huge infinity pool and great views. The rooms are very nice with comfortable beds, although the lighting is a bit dim in the bathroom and closet. It is about a 8-10 minute walk to the village so it is very quiet and peaceful. When we stayed it seemed like the resort had just opened and the staff was still trying to figure things out. They spoke very little english and were not super accommodating with figuring out things to do during the day. They charged quite a bit more than in the village for things such as long tail boat day trips, water taxis and snorkel gear rentals. Despite some of the negatives, I would give my stay 4 stars and stay again/recommend to a friend.

Great hotel with an amazing view. Intense friendly staff.”
Great location for a relaxing an non hectic holiday/stay. The chalets are really nice and the view is amazing. Hygiene is on high level. Do not book it if you’re looking for a lot of people and things to do. The location can only be reached by boat and there are no real places where you can party or so. There is a small village 5 min walking and you can get the best Thai food there from the island . Also some bars for cocktails and music. But in general not the party area like Phi Phi Don. But if you need a great holiday with a good pool an view then this is your place. Breakfast is basic but great to start the day with.

A must visit resort.”
If you are going to Phi Phi this is a must visit resort. The resort is the most beautiful thing i've ever seen and the most beautiful and friendly staff I haver ever met. If you have any questions about my stay there feel free to message me. Both my family and I would never stay at no other resort on Phi Phi than this one.

secluded paradise”
This place is so quiet and serene, the staff is wonderful. :) You might even see Leonardo (not really but the staff call themselves by characters from the Beach sometimes, they think its funny) :) The chalets are gorgeous and super peaceful. You're a short water taxi from the madness of Phi Phi Don's party side if you wish.

Lovely quiet hotel with amazing service”
We loved our time here. Location is good but quiet. We went outside of touristy season, but the centre of Phi Phi was so busy and loud, we were happy not to be staying there. Hotel is located on a private beach. Because of the rocks you can't swim when tide is low, but there is always the beautiful infinity pool! Walking distance from little town with restaurants, bars and massage places. Service was incredible and food delicious!

Great scenery view, for nature lovers and aiming to relax”
Very nice for couple holidays, just take in mind that it is not located near Phi-phi "downtown" so you might take/pay boat transportation. very nice pool and chalet-style rooms and very kindly staff.

Nice clean resort, wonderful 1 day trip”
Located in a remote place of Phi Phi island, without private beach. Room is clean with nice sea view, pity affected by the cables in front. The 1 day Phi Phi trip booked from the resort was wonderful. The long-tail boat captain is super nice, brought us to many places for snorkelling and swim in front of us to find the baby shark, nemo and many sea creatures we want to see. The breakfast set is simple.

Amazing couple of days!!”
We had an amazing time in Phu chalet, staff is very friendly and always helpful with whatever you need... the only issue is that the place is quite far so you need a boat to get there, but it’s perfect if you want to avoid the crowd and noisy center. There’s no markets around so be sure to take whatever you may need, your medicines or some snacks for late nights, otherwise if they have what you need they may sell it (for a higher pricer). There’s Lana Bay very close and you can go walking and if you are brave enough try a small but tough hiking to Nui Bay.

Wonderful place - highly recommended”
I booked this place last minute and I am more than happy I did so. It didn't have any reviews as it's a new resort located a 5 min walk to the small village and beach, which is overall far more quiet than busy tonsai. Biggest pro is the owner of the resort Mr. Paiboon Sari who cared for us the entire stay, helped us with litterally everything! Bungalows are as shown and very clean! Aircon works perfect, the infinity pool is amazing as well as the entire outdoor area which will for sure develop more greenery over the next years. The small beach is great in the afternoon during "low tide" and wonderful for snorkeling! The only con is the access of the beach and the stairs, for families with kids it might be a bit exhausting for us it was absolutely fine! The meals are amazing for a fair price! If something is missing they try to arrange it asap. The entire crew is obviously still learning and some don't speak English but it doesn't matter as there is always somebody who translates it!

Exceptional”
Beautiful resort style chalets. Felt like we were the only ones there with ample staff to accommodate. Rooms were gorgeous, very spacious and charming. We enjoyed snorkeling and venturing to the market close by. Found a local 'captain' in the little town by the beach to take us for a 4-5hrs tour around the island for 1000baht.

Quiet retreat ”
Although there are not many reviews we booked this hotel and I am delighted to say that we were not disappointed. The hotel is new which means that the rooms and facilities are in pristine condition, the staff were also incredibly helpful and went out of their way to ensure that our stay was one to remember. It is private and exclusive, but at the same time within walking distance to the village which is vibrant with bars and restaurants. The hotel bar ans restaurant is very reasonably priced. The only negative is the electrical cables which run in front of the hotel (a bit of a spoiler for those Instagram pics). There is also no beach, but great snorkeling directly in front of the hotel and masks can be rented.

This place is amazing”
We were staying in this resort for just two nights. Wonderful! Especially the view you’ve got littered everywhere: in the restaurant/bar/ swimmingpool and even in our chalet. Only con is that the rest of the island is hard to reach. So this is not the place to stay if you like to party.

Wonderful! ”
We cannot say enough about this beautiful resort and their amazing staff. The resort was brand new and well appointed and our room had an amazing view of the water. The staff was unparalleled! They attended to our every need with giant smiles. We especially enjoyed the trip we booked via long-tail boat through the resort. Though there was no beach at high tide, we were able to easily walk to the beach of the neighboring resort. Our biggest complaint was that the walk back to the resort from the little village was very dark after sunset and we saw need to use the flashlight provided in our room. Wonderful staff!

The place is nice and cozy. The view from the room ( beach view) is amazing! ”
The staff doesn’t speak much English, but they are cordial. The manager/ receptionist who speaks good English doesn’t have a very friendly customer oriented attitude ( sometimes found her intimidating). Breakfast is free but not buffet style. However, you can order everything that’s offered in the breakfast menu. There is not much to do in the resort itself. You can swim ( pool or beach) and snorkel. For other activities such as islands tours I would recommend heading to the village ( 10 mins walk) as the prices are much more reasonable. The sea activities offered by the resort are very expensive ( double the price) compare to what other operators offer.
