Nice but noisy”
Nice location uphill on the way to the view point. The bungalows situated in the garden with palms and have no shelves or some stand to put the things on so be prepared to use the floor for it. There were quite noisy till 2am because of the clubs situated on the north beach.

Over the Hill”
price, quiet, view
Hotel was good, nothing fancy but exactly what you would expect from a basic bungalow. Just know that there is a huge walk up a hill to get to the bungalows so I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone that's out of shape. There's also the whole noise issue with the music coming from town until early in the morning. Bring earplugs

Awesome! ”
My friend and aunt loved phutawan! Everything was clean, the staff was super helpful, and the wifi was decent. The only thing we weren't crazy about was having to walk up the hill to get to the bungalows. All in all though it was a great place to stay!

Nice place to stay ”
This is a bamboo bungalow, so you have to expect a bamboo bungalow. The staff is amazing, very friendly and helpful. The location is 10 mim walk from center, what is good because it's far from the night noise (and you still can hear) I recommend this place.

perfect place to stay”
Very nice bungalow in bamboo, people very helpful telling you about the island what to do and giving nice tips without being pushy. Speak english and french perfectly. Small inconvenient is the noise until 1:30am as if a disco was right next to us. Not the fault of the place just the sound from the party beach that is more than exagerate and that sounds over kilometers. We still recommend it warmly!

Great stay! ”
The staff were so accommodating, it really made our stay special! The main man was full of tips about the island and helped us with our bags! Location is pretty far up the hill and the room didn't have air-con so we had a lot of mosquitos but they do provide nets! Would definitely recommend a short stay in the bungalows as the setting in beautiful and not to be missed!

Best and cheapest bungalows on phi phi”
Price started at 600 and later down to 500. including free water refills and tea/coffee. The staff are amazing and location is good its one of the quietest places on the island I think u would find
Best choice to stay here. It is at the top of a big hill but they take all your bags and give you a lift when you arrive. Afterwards they give you a lot of lifts but its not that bad, you get used to it. The location is much quieter than the main town Staff are incredible, so kind and helpful. Genuinely nice people. Free water tea and coffee :) Bungalows are basic but you can't complain for the price. You get all you need plus I found the beds really comfortable. Cold shower but I was to hot for anything other than that! The bungalows don't look like much but the place is safe, the people lovely and the price is cheap... was perfect for us. Was supposed to stay 3 nights and stayed 8! Check out reggae bar at night :) so funny and best place we found to eat was called tom yam - cheap but great food

Pleasant stay”
value for money, quiet and peaceful, plain and clean.
We stayed that for a night only. It was a pleasant stay for what we have paid for (around USD 17/night). The location was a bit of a walk from the 'city center' - about 10mins but otherwise, it is quiet and peaceful. It is located on the hill side, needs a little more effort for the ascend to reach the resort. Had a bit of problem with the bathroom as the drainage system was clogged, but the staffs were efficient and solved the matter promptly. The hut was cool, with basic utilities. A mosquito net for bed was provided. We recommend this place to couples/solo traveller whom on a tight budget.

Get what you pay for”
Nature, Nightlife, Price
If you want to stay somewhere close to the nightlife but has the feeling of sleeping in the jungle - this is the place for you. It's cheap so don't expect any luxuries, and there's also bit of a hill you have to walk up for 5 minutes to get there. However it's close to the beach nightlife (about 10 minutes walk) and relatively close to the main town (about 15-20 minutes walk).

Clean, cheap, beautiful”
Clean, cheap, beautiful
This hotel is a bit of a hike up a hill, but there is a shuttle service which helps you move your luggage up the hill from the port. Even if you're pretty fit, I defy you not to be a bit out of puff when you reach the top! However, for that small downfall, there are a lot of upsides. The price is seriously under what it should be - the huts are so nice. The staff are very friendly too, and attentive. The bed is really comfortable, I had a great nights sleep there. Its far enough away from the main strip that you don't hear the noise which goes on until 5am, but close enough that its an easy walk back. We wished that we had booked here instead of our first choice for the entire stay!

We had a great time in our bungalow!”
Clean room, beautiful place and very nice staff.
This resort in Phi Phi is very nice and quiet place. 10 minutes walking to the port. Not crowdy. Free coffee or tea in the morning. Staff is really willing and kind. The price is not bad during the season (Christmas).

value for money”
away from beach
At night, there is usually a pandemonium at beaches of phi-phi. All the bars play loud music which I fear every resort at beach can hear. So, it's better to stay away from the main beach so that you can sleep. Phuttawan bamboo resort is uphill hide from view hut like resort. The rooms are made of bamboo. The rooms are non-A/c but it is simply what I was looking for. A budget trip to phi-phi. I learnt some Thai phrases, thanks to hotel staff at resort. don't forget to buy mosquito coils if required.

Real jungle feeling”
Bamboo bungalow and wild nature around
We loved the night in the bungalow, because of its real and wild jungle feeling - nature around you, orchids on doorway and lizards walking around. Even the music from the beach and every sound of your neighbors were heardable, the price and emotion are very good plus lovely owners. Thank You!

Cute bamboo hut”
Cold even without air conditioning unit
New experience for me and my family. We have never stayed in a bamboo hut. The room even though small its very clean. The staff are very friendly. A few of them cant speak English but they try very best to understand and help us with our request. The only down side is that its very far from the town.

Bamboo Huts”
Price
The hotel is situated on a hill at the end of the beach with all the loud bars. This meant a short hike up the hill, which for me in that hunidity meant i was breaking out in sweat by time i reached my room. Also of a night you could hear the music blasting from the beach. However for me this wasn't a problem as i went for the party atmosphere. Bamboo hut was basic with own bathroom and double bed but for the price i cant argue. Also the staff were very nice and welcoming.

Cute bamboo huts! ”
Very friendly and helpful staff!
I loved this hotel. The people who work there are friendly! They were at the pier when I got off boat and led me up the hill to the hotel and carried my bag. Super helpful! Hotel is about 15 min walk, not too bad but if you are not into walking in the heat it might not be for you. Huts are cute but made of bamboo so you hear everything from the others staying there. You also hear the music from koh phi phi but it shuts off at 2am and its in the distance so not too bad. Wifi is kind of slow and does not reach room, but if you sit on patio by office it's good. Free coffee and tea. Great place for the price!
