This Resort is better than the photos! ”
On arrival it immediately became apparent that this resort/hotel equaled or exceeded the expectations drawn from the Agoda website photos. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and nothing was too much trouble, I can't praise them enough. I loved the room supplied with brolly, dressing gown & slippers! The bathroom was very clean, tidy and well equipped with good quality toiletries. I laid on the sun lounger by the heavenly pool enjoying the serenity. Location was reasonable for the Khao Yai National Park. I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you like somewhere relaxing.

Best hotel at Khao Yai”
Recently stayed at Phunawanalee Resort and had a fantastic experience. Beautiful Thai style resort conveniently located near the entrance to Khao Yai National Park. Very friendly staff, owner always available and connects with all the guest. Fantastic breakfast buffet, large pool, dined at the hotel restaurant as well, loved everything. Very large, private rooms, heavily landscaped garden gives the feel of a tropical true Thai style resort. Will stay here on every visit to Khao Yai...

Excellent place to stay”
This is a excellent place to stay in Khao Yai! Located at the heart of most attractions (we rented a car to drive around). Famous cafe and restaurants such as Midwinter Green, Thames valley, chocolate factory etc are all within around 10 to 20 mins drive. The room is clean and staff are friendly. This place is absolutely for nature lovers, the flora and fauna is so rich but there wasn't sighting of mosquitos so its safe. The breakfast variety will depends on the bed occupancy rate. If low, they will provide set meal, if high they will provide buffet style. Please don't choose room 510 and 511 because the frogs croaking outside the suite will drive you crazy. It went non-stop 24/7!!! Only outside our mini suite have these frogs, others suite don't have these problems. I love the hotel and I will return ( but i won't choose the same suite to avoid the frogs)

Very nice hotel with Thai decoration style, suitable for family with kids”
The hotel itself is located on Thanarat road which is good location to start exploring Khao Yai area as it has many attraction and resturant. It has good facilities such as swimming pool (small size but clean), playground for young kids, and has large area which you could enjoy riding bike around the resort. Trees are plus plus thing for this resort. Staff has great service as they take care of all guesses in all area. Overall, we have a grate stay and relax here.

Memorable stay at Phuwanalee Resort”
Our stay at the Phuwanalee Resort was excellent. The staff was very helpful and cooperative. Being Vegetarians, the Resort Manager in particular ensured we receive pure vegetarian food for all our meals and within the range provided many options, so much so that we preferred to dine at the resort only skipping other options around. The ambience of the resort is great with landscaping providing a miniature feel of the National Park. The Boutique tents in particular (we stayed at these tents)provided a glimpse to the alternative accommodation to my children and we had fun at the resort with bicycles and early morning/late evening strolls.

Nice Stay”
We went sightseeing all day before checking in around 8PM so we didn't spend much time at the hotel but overall everything was nice and impressive. Staffs were helpful and always greeted us. Breakfast was delicious even though not so various. It's located near some famous restaurants and strawberry farms. We will consider this hotel again if we are going to revisit Khao Yai :)

It's what we needed for this trip .”
We booked two rooms here when we went to Khao Yai National Park and Jim Thompson Farm. Love that it's near the Chocolate Factory and other nice places to eat. Breakfast isn't the greatest but it's not bad at all. Staff were nice.

VERY NICE HOTEL”
A really lovely place with good facilities. We were there on one of the busiest nights of the year; Big Mountain Music Festival. Everything was great except for that common problem in Thailand. In one of our two rooms the water in the shower was barely warm and very low pressure. In Bangkok that would be no problem; but this is no joke in winter in Khao Yai! In the other room the shower was ok.

Exceptional”
Phuwanalee Quiet hotel which is good if you need some getaway. They have a swimming pool for kids. We requested for a baby cot and its bedsheet had some black spots on it. The toilet system was not so good. LK Nice hotel with this price. They have a high chair for a 1-year old at breakfast/dinner table. The swimming pool is nice with lights at night time. My kid loved it. They do a pretty nice decoration all over the place. We stayed in city view room. However, there was cigarette smell in front of the room.

Room(tent) is so good nice design and surrounding by natural. Location is good, it's near Khao Yai National park and attractions place. Staff are very nice and help full. Food is basic.

A Village in its own Resort”
Phuwanalee Resort is a very huge resort. You are able to cycle around its premises.It has a large area where they have resort rooms and also camp-rooms look alike. It is very unique and nice. Staff are equally nice, and they have a games room for you to play table tennis and a gym. I played with 2 of the little children when i was there. It was my 2nd time in Khaoyai and i had stayed in other resort as well. But i would say that this resort has beautiful amenities. They have a nice swimming pool as well.

Lovely getaway with super pleasant an attentive manager and tranquil environment ”
The breakfast at the resort was lovely. We were also attended to by the hotel manager who was super attentive and friendly. Made sure we had a comfortable stay, and that we enjoyed breakfast and had our Khaoyai national park trip planned proper. Really enjoyed this stay and would definitely recommend it to other people. Call in advance to arrange for hotel transfer from the bus station.

Connect with nature”
Very nice resort with the old world charm. Had a wonderful stay so close to nature. The resort is conveniently located with many restaurants and Palio nearby.The national park is just 12 km from the resort. Its advisable to have your own transport and enjoy the drive around. The resort itself is beautifully maintained with lots of trees and vegetation. Lovely to just walk around and take in the serenity. Will visit again.

Beautiful gardens and good location near Khao Yai”
When travelling with our two young children we usually stay at 4-5 star hotels but because we were a bit late booking, we ended up staying at Phuwanalee. We were a bit worried after reading some of the negative feedback but were really suprised at how well kept and pleasant this resort is. The gardens are absolutely beautiful and our children really enjoyed the pool. We stayed in a superior (or boutique?) suite and the room was clean and big enough for the four of us. The staff was friendly and helpful, most couldn't speak english which didn't really matter because there was one staff member who spoke perfect english, took care of us throughout our stay and offered her help every morning. As we stayed during the x-mas holiday season we probably ended up paying a lot more than usual for our room so we have to subtract a few points for value for money.

Beautiful hotel, good location”
The location is good, not far from the national park entrance. The hotel is beautiful with lovely garden and swimming pool. Good for a relax vacation. The tent that i stayed is also nice but the bed is a little bit too hard. Staffs are very friendly. Overall it's a good hotel.

Nice resort!”
We stayed here for two nights over the New Year. Staff were very friendly and considerate. Breakfast was good. Very good environment-- lots of trees. We attended the countdown gala dinner. The food at dinner was so so but the magic show and games are good. They also had lucky draw from guest tickets and there were many interesting prizes, e.g. Gold, air tickets, hotel vouchers, and kitchen items. At booking we thought the gala dinner ticket was pricey (฿2,800) and shouldn't have been mandatory (what if you want to count down somewhere else?). However, the prizes were worth the price (we did get two hotel vouchers and air ticket). In the New Year morning we had a chance to make merits as they invited monks to the resort -- a good way to start the New Year.

the resort is located very near to the main entrance of the famous national park 'khao yai' and very clam and quite. Sometimes in the night the mosquitoes are very aggressive so beware!
