Newly discovered hotel in Batangas City has a sprawling grounds great for kids to wander about. Rooms are big and well-furnished. The pools are clean and not crowded. Highly recommended!

This place is family-friendly and offers great food. It has big pools and gym. Hotel room is spacious and clean kahit may signs na ng pagkaluma. Hotel staff are very respectful and accommodating. There's complimentary drinking water in every facility.

The room is very nice and big. But the only one thing ,got a lot of mosquitoes inside the room. Maybe because of the surroundings of the execuitive rooms area. But I hope they make a way to prevent mosquitoes inside the room.

Good stay for the price”
Checkin was easy. Our first room smelled like smoke so I requested for a change in room and the front desk readily agreed and send up a porter to take us to our new room. Breakfast wasn’t like i expected. There was only 2 dishes on the buffet spread, plus some bread and soup options. But it wasn’t bad. I wish there was more selection to choose from.

Pros: spacious room, cool AC, lobby recep kalook-a-like ni Dimples Romana pretty, buffet bfast, clean pools, just a 10min walk or 3min tricycle to/from SM, complimentary coffee and bottled water, soap, malakas shower sa banyo, room strong free wifi, quiet environment, cable TV Cons: due for renov, construction ongoing new bldg, limited parking w/in hotel premises else dun ka sa labas ng Pontefino area w/c are dusty, old towels & bedsheets

Nice hotel, not so friendly reception staff”
Perhaps reception staff need to be reminded they are providing a service to guests, guests shouldnt be treated as an inconvenience. Other than that, hotel is nice, food good but expensive and water in shower wasnt hot.

Could use an uplift”
There are no other hotel choices in Batangas City...Pontefino is the only viable and best choice. But the hotel could use an uplift - please ask them to check their black-out curtains which should be really changed already. Room slippers, though free, are paper thin...you would rather go barefoot. Breakfast is okay.

Problem with water supply”
3 to 4x in a day there’ s a problem on their water supply. I keep on calling their receptionist at the lobby hotel everytime there’s no water. Imagine while you were taking a bath the supply of the water will stop then will return after 10-15mins. And they gave us a room at the 4th floor (w/o elevator), i asked the receptionist if there’s any chance that they can change the room but they gave me no feedback.

Some security personnel and room quality”
Some security personnel are so impatient providing assistance to guests. Since the hotel doesn’t have enough parking, they should be able to assist properly on where to park. I have an infant and i was told (in an impatient manner) to just park down the open area. I understand you have an event that day, but I am also a customer and at the same time a unit owner in Prime. Dont i have the priveledge to be treated fairly as well? Also, my guests in room 410 were complaining that the AC doesnt work well, so it’s so hot inside the room and the ref is empty and could not even chill their water bottles. This hotel is one of the most expensive in Batangas, i hope you can improve so when i bring guests next time, they will have more memorable experience during their stay.

The bathroom smells like sewage. The shower has black mold in the grout. They would not let early entry to the room even it was vacant.

Some things can still be improved ”
Great Architectural Design. Nice Pool and Gym. Love the ambiance at the Lobby. Things to improve: parking for hotel guests when there's an event. They should be prioritize instead of going out on the next gate even if service van was provided. Staff particularly at the Resto should be more attentive. I waited for 45 minutes for a simple soup and spring roll order. Room is big enough but TV, sink, curtains and bath tub must be repaired or improved.
