"I checked agoda and was looking for a hotel last moment as my bus was cancelled. I found this hotel and from the photos it looked good. Agoda gave me instant confirmation. On reaching the hotel, the reception was quite standard but on entering the area restricted to residents - it was an out of the world experience. the architecture is wonderful. it is so peaceful inside, you will never believe you are in mumbai. instantaneously, tiredness left and i decided on having a meal, visiting the spa, etc. A must stay for a different experience of a mumbai hotel"

"We had room 303, exceptional views of the Gateway to India & Arabian sea. Hotel is beautiful in a prime location, great pool area, good restaurants, albeit a tad pricey. You obviosly pay premium prices for drinks because of 5* hotel, but still expensive for India. Beautiful memorial in memory of the terrorist attack in 2008(Hotel Mumbai Film) prompted us to stay here and it didnt dissapoint. Barry G England"

"The Leela is my preferred transit hotel in Mumbai. It is located a mere 5 mins drive from the international airport. The rooms are smartly designed with spacious bathrooms and other amenities. The Indian touches are everywhere and this distinguishes Leela from the other hotels in the same class. The restaurants are excellent. I always look forward to the breakfast at Citrus, especially the South Indian preparations such as idli-sambar and masala dosa. The staff is earnest and performance has improved in recent times. If you have business to conduct anywhere close to the international airport, this is the hotel to be in. Or if you have an international flight to catch at one of those ungodly hours, stay at Leela makes it comfortable and convenient."

"Trident Nariman Point Mumbai Hotel absolutely exceeded my expectations. They have the best customer service I have ever experienced in my travels. I had to check-in earlier than the usual check-in time because of my flight schedule and because I had to wait a bit for check-in, hotel reception was kind enough to give me complimentary wifi services as well as free lunch buffet! Aside from that, all hotel staff were very courteous and attentive to guests' needs. You'll really feel like a VIP in every corner of the hotel. Also, the hotel's breakfast buffet has a very good selection of food. When staying in Mumbai, Trident Nariman Point Hotel will truly offer the best hotel experience you could ever ask for =)"

"This is a great hotel overall! The staff and service are just top notch, 5-star quality. Only reason I've taken down 1 star in my rating is for the 1 issue we had daily during our stay ..breakfast! I gets busy during breakfast and, with young kids we weren't super happy with being bounced around from one breakfast place to another. This happened to us consistently throughout our 3 night stay. We stayed on the club floor and, club lounge was ok but, we preferred the buffet style setup on the restaurants on first floor as with little kids we needed more choices which were not available in the club lounge floor. Also, I've stayed at other hotels in Mumbai and I think the quality of food, temperature etc. leaves some room for improvement. Other than this, we loved this hotel, it's location, amenities and courteous staff. "

"having spent the previous 3 weeks in rural india we felt we needed a good night's sleep and a hot shower before our journey home. we encountered the 'airport greeters' from the 4 seasons when we arrived in india. although we weren't staying at that hotel they were incredibly kind and helpful and so when it came to book a hotel for our return journey we were determined to book a room at the 4 seasons. booking a room via the internet was easy and we decided to splash out and get a deluxe room with sea views. we returned to mumbai by train and took a taxi to the hotel. this proved slightly problematic because the address on the e mail confirmation gave the address as 'central mumbai' (a quite specific area, apparently). our taxi driver, therefore, had some difficulty locating the hotel. arriving at half seven in the morning, we decided to pay extra so that we could check in for an extra half day. it was well worth it. the room was superb; comfortable, clean and well equipped. the bed was incredibly comfortable. my only grouse was that i got the impression from the web site that the internet was part of the deal, it wasn't. our room was 'refreshed' several times during the few hours we stayed there. we ate in the cafe prato. we were, perhaps, a bit early for lunch, so i suppose that's why we had a bit of wait for our food, despite there being no other customers. the food was very good and, anyway, we weren't in a hurry. we spent the afternoon by the pool where we were indulged by the friendly staff. a swim in the pool was refreshing! breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of choice. generally, the hotel seemed to be used mostly by business people rather than travellers like ourselves - but we were being self indulgent. all of the staff were brilliant, including the driver that took us to the airport."

"Having done the Mumbai hotel tour, i.e. pretty much stayed in all the luxury hotels down from Nariman Point up to the airport area, I can say that this will be my permanent "go-to" hotel. Location: Bandra, overlooking the ocean. Relatvely quiet Mumbai area which allows one to take a morning seaside jog. Proliferation of restaurants in the area is also another plus. You can easily access South Bombay via the sea link so it's ideally situated, in my opinion. Ambiance: Busy hotel but maintains a certain peacefulness unlike other very "touristy" hotels. Simple, yet elegant. Cozy and warm--just like how I like my holidays. Staff Performance: Notch above the rest. No one can contest the genuineness and attentiveness of Taj Lands End's employees. My hotel car actually got reared on my way to the hotel from the airport and the staff were all over me to ensure I was ok as soon as I arrived at the hotel. I must also mention that this is the same hotel where I lost a luxury watch only to have it returned to me by the hotel maintenance staff. Just pure genius."
