It would have been nice to have at least a continental breakfast included. There is too much noise from adjacent rooms and rooms on the second floor. Perhaps it we had been on the top floor we wouldn't have had this problem. The hotel must already be aware of this in that they provide earplugs. While it is a nice touch to have minilights strung above each bed, if you like your room dark for sleep, we could find no way to turn them off. Their light radiates off pictures with white frames hanging above them, making it difficult for me to get to sleep.

This place has tons of charm and probably has one of the best restaurants in the area! Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had and chicken fried steak is damn good. Don't judge a book by its cover. You want to check this place out

Great place to stay”
We always stay at Prospector hotel when we stop in Ely. The dog rooms are well placed to take pets out. The staff is wonderful and we enjoy their restaurant.

Nice place and biker friendly. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were fantastic.
