Puri Santrian is one of the better properies I have stayed in Bali Especially in Sanur You muSt choose this resort for the location benefits that it offers Sanur lies in the way from your trip from west to east in Bali Puri Santrian must definitely figure out in this trip It offers an amazing service,excellent private beach, a great spa and three wonderful swimming pools If ur looking to have breakfast looking at the sea , a nice dip in the water, sun bathing on the sun decks and just hanging around the beach This is it Also available is a chance to walk on the ocean floor an activity called sea walker that is offered within the resort premises And last but not the least are the amazing staff nothing like them Just go for it.

great hospitality just perfekt ”

perfect retreat directly the calm sanur beach. we booked a club room and have been more than impressed. phantastic club pool area with fountains in a blooming garden. complimentary breakfast and after noon tea as well as discounted spa threads within the rate. very nice beachside with huge deckchairs and a very good restaurant, so no complains just satisfaction in all aspects. highly recommended even compared to price level within the same standard of other bali hotels. free wifi and a very nice spa as well. honestly you dont go to bali for the beaches itself, but the puri santrian delivered anything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. and sanur has still a family bali feeling, compared to the mess of kuta area which should be avoided at any cost !!!

Great location, great staff and great breakfast!”

Me and my partner travelled throughout Bali and Lombok during August and early September, this was the last hotel we stayed at and decided to treat ourselves to an expensive, swanky hotel. We had stayed in Sanur previously so had the chance to view all the large beach front hotels - the Puri Santrian was by far the most appealing looking. The staff were unrivalled in their service (most places have friendly staff, but they often get distracted easily which is generally funny unless you are hungry!), they were attentive and the food was excellent. Location wise the hotel is very good, beach and 2 pools are clean and easily accessible, even if getting loungers is a challenge after 10.30 am. Many bars and restaurants can be found just outside the hotel and the main road is a 10 min walk or 10,000 Rp bemo (for 2) or 20,000 Rp taxi away. Rooms were large and clean, lighting was a little poor (not very bright) and the air-con unit placement was "unconventional" to say the least but still just about did its job. There are hotels in Sanur that cost only a fraction of the price (we paid around a third of the price for our other Sanur hotel which was also very good clean, air conditioned and with a pool) that are equally spacious and comfortable - this would be my one real negative point, however these hotels do not boast the same quality in location or breakfast provision (both in range of food available and quality of food).

Great hotel in all aspects !”

My wife and I have had an excellent stay (1 week) in Puri Santrian, which truely is a 4 star hotel. The hotel is well located right on the cleanest beach of Sanur and close to many restaurants and shops. Kuta beach (30 min) as weel as Ubud (45 min) can be reached easily without traffic issues. It was not clear whether the room we booked (beach wing) was already occupied or simply did not exist at all, but we were uppgraded in a Premier Deluxe room which was just fantastic, comfortable, super clean (twice per day !), very well furnished and decorated. The garden of the hotel, where most rooms are, is really worth the look. 2 nice pools, great spa (a full body massage for 2 worth 90$ was even offered to us when we decided to extend our stay. The food is very good and at resaonnable price; breakfast was great (choice and quality). The staff was really nice and helpful in organizing trips and visits throughout the island; they even helped us to be refunded for a boat tour which took twice the normal time. Comparing with other hotels, I think this is one of the best value for money hotel in Southern Bali. We will definitely choose thise hotel again if we go back to Bali.

A good hotel to relax”

We stayed a week at Puri Santrian and we really enjoyed our stay. We booked a club room but had a good surprise at check in because we were upgraded to a Premier Deluxe room, which was so nice. However, I was curious and had a look at the club and I am sure we would have also totally enjoyed it. We booked a transfer from and to the airport through the hotel and it worked perfectly. The check in was pleasant: welcome drink, comprehensive explanations about the hotel and its services and the lady at the front desk who also showed us the room. The room was fabulous: big, a big bathroom, a great bed, a little terrace... We had some difficulties setting the A/C because it was either too cold or when we lowered the A/C, the humidity started to be too much present, smelly and making everything wet. We mostly stayed at the infinity pool which is for the Premier Deluxe guests. We loved it and we had such a relaxing time. However, the other pools look fine too. The beach is not so great, lots of seaweed and very windy (not the hotel's fault), but it was nice to swim in the ocean once or twice (and observe the fishes). The breakfast is good but it would have been great if it was served later than 10:00am. We used their spa for a great Balinese massage with a 50% discount, i.e. 2 massages for the price of one. We rent their bikes for a half-day: very cheap, a couple dollars but the bikes are not in a good shape. We ate at their Mezzanine restaurant: we loved it, and at their Italian restaurant in the center of Sanur: The Village, this was delicious and they provide free transportation to and from the restaurant. The location in the south of Sanur is nice, lots of shops and restaurants around. We would come back to Puri Santrian. We really appreciated this place and the staff. We had a wonderful vacation. Great location, up market and reasonably priced.”

We have been to Sanur many times and over the years have stayed in various levels of accommodation from traditional homestay to 5-star Club Class. Puri Santrian definately offers great value for money. Being situated right on the beach as well as having two beautiful clean pools (three including club pool) with plenty of shade and lots of lounges and beach chairs was a big plus - no getting down at 6 am to grab a spot here! We booked room only as we like the flexibility of eating at local cafes for breakfast. Many cafes and warungs are situated right outside along the beachfront and a full breakfast costs you about $4. The Beach Wing is perfectly located to the pools, beach and restaurants but at the same time quiet. Our room was a reasonable size with all the essentials, a big spotless bathroom and a large beach facing balcony. The hotel offers good dining options although we tended to eat mostly outside as there is so much choice right outside the hotel. The service was very friendly and efficient but not in your face, there if you needed it. Overall Puri Satrian is a perfect choice for either couples or families wanting a Bali experience with all the comforts at a reasonable price.

Amazing Hotel Loved Every Minuite ”

Having stayed 11 nights we highly recommend the Puri Santrian, absolutely wonderful staff such good English and so friendly and helpful. The location was perfect right on the beach with the pontoons it was beautiful watching the sun rise, such a lovely location. The grounds where well maintained and had some amazing plants and trees. We come to Bali three times a year and have stayed in some of the best hotels but the Puri Santrian is now our favourite. I highly recommend the Premium Deluxe rooms we loved the pool. Buffet break was very good indeed, such great selection the egg station did amazing waffles, pancakes and the best omelet I have had in Bali. Loved the Quiche Lorraine, that was my favourite. The swim up bar was excellent. You wont be disappointed if you stay at the Puri Santrian. We have booked our next vacation at the Puri Santrian.

A Relaxing Oasis”

My husband I stayed here towards the end of our honeymoon. We both enjoyed every single minute in Puri Santrian Beach Resort & Spa. It is a stunning resort with outstanding service. The views were breath taking. The beach was right there. Having your meals by the beach listening to sounds of the waves crashing was truly an experience. Food and service was superb. Will highly recommend it. If you are travelling to Bali a stay at this resort is a must. Will visit again if we ever come back to Bali. Thank You.

Perfect spot after mountain activities”

My friends and I absolutely loved our stay at the Puri Santrian. It was the perfect place to recover from a weekend of walking up volcanoes. Check-in was easy and quick, and the staff were, in general, friendly and helpful. The room was incredibly spacious even with the extra bed (there were 3 of us) and the beds were so comfortable, especially for us weary hikers. Location-wise, we loved Sanur - away from the craziness of Kuta, but with lots of options for food and shopping within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel restaurants were also reasonably priced if one is too lazy to leave the resort. The fact that there are so many pools was pretty cool as well, but we spent most of our time at the beach as it is stunning. The water is crystal clear and cool. I need to also recommend the spa - best foot reflexology I've ever had! Overall, we'd definitely come back again.

Beatutiful hotel, great service and great location”

We got married at the Puri Santrian 4 years ago and so whilst we were in Jakarta for a family wedding thought we would go back to Bali and stayed again. We absolutely love this hotel and find all the staff very friendly and helpful. We booked a Beach Wing room but on our arrival they upgraded us into one of their Santrian Club rooms which are for adults only. We were delighted and surprised when we got to the room as it had a lovely 4 poster bed and a large balcony with a adults only pool! The hotel and grouds are very clean and the service we received was as good as usual. We love the area of Sanur, it is so relaxed and quiet in the evenings and there are many restaurants and shopping just outside the hotel. One restaurant to note is the Cat & Fiddle which is just outside the front of the Hotel, it is run by the British Consulate & his wife (we went to him to help arrange our wedding) and it is a fab place with a mix of indonesian and english fayre and music most nights. i would thouroughly recomment this hotel & area and will be going back!

Fantastically manicured gardens within resort”

Without reservation, we would highly recommend Puri Santrian Beach Resort & Spa for either a romantic retreat or as a lovely vacation destination. Local areas around this resort are nice for shopping and casual dining. Hotel’s main dining room has lovely jazz band to set the mood for enjoyable and relaxing conversations. Staff satisfied all our requirements and were well equipped to plan enjoyable excursion i.e.: bicycle tour, temple tours, and shopping. The gardens within the resort are manicured to perfection (LOVELY)!!

Nice place, but maybe a bit too expensive”

Sanur and Puri Santrian is a nice place - no doubt about it. But compared to our price and what we have experienced in e.g. Thailand it was maybe a bit too overrated. The resort is situated in the southern part of the Sanur beach area. It is a nice and quiet location. Next to some nice and very love-key beach schacks with simple food and cheap beers. But you have to move further up north along the beach front to find restaurants - at least 5 or 10 minutes walk or so. However, if you move out through the main entrance you will find restaurants and ex-pats bars just out side of the resort's area on "the city side" of the resort. Sanur also has a good location when it comes to tours in the Eastern part of Bali and to Ubud and is convenient re. airport transfer. Sanur is - as stated many places - a good place for families with children. The resort's beach is pretty average - not the best and not the worst I have experienced. Please note that it blows surprising much in Sanur (we were there in July) - especially at night time - and the difference between high and low tide is remarkable all over Bali. The sea next to the resort was also a bit dirty in the afternoon with plastic floating around. Dinner in the resort's restaurant is good, the staff friendly and the pools are pretty attractive. The resort has its own sun loungers on the beach which quite a lot of the resort guests benefit from. Our room - and we were upgraded for free - was very dark (placed in the garden close to the reception) and the internet wasn't working well. We wouldn't mind going back to Sanur and to stay at Puri Santrian, but it would have to be at a lower price.

Superb resort & Spa”

We stayed at Puri Santrian for five nights. We originally booked one of the Beach Wings rooms but on arrival we got a free upgrade to the Santrian Club! The room was really beautiful and spacious. Free water and amenities. Roomservice brought us a free plate of fresh fruit. The Club pool was closed for the first three days because of chemical treatment. We didn't really care because the two other pools are huge and the beach is one minute away. Breakfast buffet was incredible. Different kinds of bread, juices, cheeses, meats and even smoked marlin, fresh fruit, egg (different styles) and much more. Lunch and dinner menu is really diverse; the mocktails/smoothies are really nice. Staff is really friendly, always in for a chat and nothing is too much for them. Santrian organizes different things throughout the week like Balinese cooking classes, every day free yoga and Balinese dinner night. The Spa has happy hours between 0900 and 1300. The people working really know what they do. Truly amazing place to stay!

Beautiful Resort on the beach, helpful staff”

The Puri Santrian was our last destination in our 2 week trip to Bali. we stayed in the beach wing rooms ( ajoining rooms)with an extra bed in each room to sleep 6 all together.The rooms were clean and very adequet for our needs,TV but no DVD,great balconey but rooms on the dark side. We didnt have breakfast with our deal, but booked breakfast on our last day $12each. double what you pay on the street, but worth it. We also had lunch and dinner at the resort and was never disappointed.Lots of explanation was given on arrival, staff very friendly.The resort was beautiful the pools great and the beach clean and safe to swim in.Lots of eating places close by on the beach or street. Sanur quieter than Seminyak which was a lovely change for us but maybe too quiet for younger couples.

Great Hotel with beautiful surrounds”

The Puri Santrian Beach & Spa Resort is a large, sprawling hotel that has a homely , well set out feeling about it. We managed to experience all levels of accommodation after deciding to upgrade once checked in. With the 'Beach wing' rooms providing a standard style room with a balcony looking over the water features and courtyard to the opulent 'Santrian Club' rooms which provides a private amazing three level pool for residents of that wing. The gardens and landscaping is beautiful with Balinese statues and motifs throughout.

Sensational As Always”

Hello, We love this place and keep coming back. It's a great resort for any type of traveler, plenty of different areas, with private pools, pools for the kids or a nice clean beach. Great breakfast and a couple of nice restaurants at the resort or you can wander down along the beach either way and find some funky little bars and cafes. The staff are just great, very friendly, polite, excellent English and always more than helpful. They are cheerful every day and have a welcome smile or hello when passing. These little things make a difference and at the Puri Santrian resort there are a lot of those little things. The location works well, you are far enough away from the main road not to be distracted or close enough to be right in it. Some great restaurants to choose from, little gift shops, traditional markets and stalls, whatever you're after Sanur can do it....well maybe except for nightclubbing! Absolutely recommend this resort and will be back again next year.

Surprised and delighted”

We had not stayed in the Sanur area before although we had been to Bali many times. We found the Puri Santrian a beautiful and peaceful resort. The facilities were excellent. Right on the beach with a lovely views and a variety of pools to choose from as well. The resort may not be the newest but it has that delightful Balinese charm. Superb gardens and grounds to walk through. The breakfasts were fantastic and we also tried 2 of the restuarants and the food was excelllent. The staff were friendly and helpfull. We choose a ground floor room which had a small terrace and a very comfy lounger and a small table and chairs.

Puri Santrian”

Sanur is a bit of a sleep town compared to the East coast. However, they do have some great restaurants and coffee shops, plenty of local clothes, knick knacks, leather goods and market stall, as well as high end shops and surf brands. They also have a large Hardy’s supermarket where you can get just about anything you need. We have stayed at Puri Santrian many times and the staff, facilities, breakfast, rooms and resort are always first class. We usually stay in the Santrian Club which has some nicer more modern rooms. They have great pools, plenty of lounges both on the beach and around the pools and you can swim in the beach. The beach setting is easy to get used to and laze around all day. There are lots of good restaurants and local warungs for lunch or dinner, just a short stroll along the beach front from Puri.

very beautiful hotel and location”

We only stayed 1 night at puri santrian beach resort and spa as we were on a cruise ship. Our stay was wonderful. We arrived at 10am and wew able to check in to our room and spend the day walking aound the local area and lying by the pool. the pool bar was great drink prices are typical hotel prices not cheap but not over the top. there are some great bar and resturants arond the area as well. we would look to stay at this resort again

Beautiful resort - Sanur is the hidden gem od Bali”

Puri Santrian has everything you need to relax, unwind and have a fun holiday. The grounds and gardens which make up the resort are beautiful and the different pools and beach set up mean there is always somewhere to go depending on your mood: Pool bar for a drink, quiet shady day bed on the beach, drink on the sand etc. There's so much to do if you want activities - hire some bikes and go for an explore, learn to kite surf, snorkelling or diving on the reef, shopping and of course a spa session. We had a great stay here and one of the highlights was the 'romantic meal for 2' which i wanted to do as a suprise for my partner. The staff couldn't do enough to make it special and although the rain meant we could not have it on the beach, they set the table up in one of the pool gardens areas which was just as romantic. But the 7 course food was outstanding and some best if not the best we had during our stay in Bali. The rooms are fine and Sunur is a breath of fresh air if you want a break from the hectic Seminyak /kuta area of the island.
