Very good location, clean, and room is bigger than I expected”

Very near to Shinsaibashi shopping street like 5-8 mins to get there not only Shinsaibashi, u can walk to many spots within 15-20mins. and It’s actually located in the center of the city we didn’t take long to go anywhere which can shorten transportation time. There are lots of restaurants downstairs and nearby. Very clean room and is bigger than I expected. Bed is bigger than normal double bed, Perfectly fit in two adults and a kid. Also spacious enough to open two big luggages. Very friendly staff, I asked many times about parking before the trip and they replied patiently within a few hours. Parking lot is small, only for 2-3 cars, for those who plan to drive need to confirm the parking with the hotel beforehand. Overall, I like quintessa a lot and would recommend to everyone.

Modern, ELEGANT hotel”

Though located at Shinsaibashi, this hotel is a bit away from the Eki. It takes around 10 min walking which is acceptable for such a high-standard hotel. I've been to more than 10 hotels in Japan and this is the BEST I've had. Having a fabulous and modern look from outside, its interior design is new and good too. Room is BIG comparing to the general standard of Japan, very big indeed in terms of this price. The room has a spectacular inside looking with everything newly equipped and decorated, especially this hotel has just 3 year-history. Being a business hotel the staff speaks quite fluent English which adds point to the hotel. If I go to Osaka again I MUST choose this hotel again. I strongly recommend this hotel to you all.

Exceptional”

We love the hotel location! Being a muslim traveller, its essential to be in a place near halal eateries. And i definitely love my choice to stay here as there were 2 eateries nearby, one is Naritaya abt 2-3mins walk to the left and Cafe bintang Osaka abt 5 mins walk to the right. Also nearby Shinsaibashi-Suji Shopping place which is abt 8-10mins walk from the hotel. Last but not least its near Shinsaibashi station for those who want to take the subway. There are also laundry machines, 300yen for washing machine, 100 yen for dryer. Be prepared to use the dryer 2 cycle as 1 cycle may not have your clothes fully dry if its thick. This hotel definitely definitely worth every penny! 👍

Good location”

Location is perfect. Only 500 metres to Glico Sign at Dotonbori and not too far from Shinsaibashi Station. If you want to go to the airport by airport limousine bus, you can walk 7-10 minutes to Nikko Hotel from Quintessa. The room is quite small, booked standard twin for 2 adult and 2 kids, because triple are sold out. We have difficulties to put our luggages in the room regarding to the limited space in the room. But overall, we like to stay here..

Nice hotel in Shinsaibashi ”

This is a nice hotel, rooms are tiny but compact. We stayed here for 5 nights. The 5th night was a separate reservation as we extended our stay in Osaka so we were transferred to another room. We experienced 2 different rooms in both sides of the building. We loved our stay in Quintessa as it was clean, the staff were courteous and has a boutique-like hotel ambiance.

we stayed on 7/22-7/23 .my 2 year old kid were so sick that night. thanks the hotel to assist us that night , especially Ms. Mori. so we finally could relax and enjoy our stay in Quintessa Hotel Osaka. Very nice service, Highly recommended.

Excellent”

Had a good experience staying in Quintessa hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful and the room is clean. However, the hotel has arranged me to stay at the corner room which is like a extended room outside of the hotel. This is rather a unusual design. The location is quite far from the nearest subway but near Shinsaibashi area with good food and shopping malls hence I would still recommend this hotel.

One of the newer hotels in Osaka's Shinsaibashi district”

This hotel was situated smack-dab in the bustling Shinsaibashi district, which is a rather bustling entertainment and shopping area in Osaka. Not only that, but travelers can avail themselves to two different metro lines, which is quite useful when getting to other areas downtown - many popular sites are within 2-3 stations away. Since it's also in the middle of an entertainment district, of course many dining options are also available. This is a rather new hotel in the area, so I'd recommend this hotel before it becomes "worn".

The location of this hotel is close to Shinsaibashi and easy to go around Osaka. I stayed with my kid (1-year-old), the accommodation was good not too big but not too small for us. Breakfast was reasonable. The staff was responsible for all questions that we asked. Great location, helpful staff and reasonable price, Recommended!!

Great location in a brand new hotel”

Pros 1. Location. Location. Walking distance to Shinsaibashi Shopping Mall, subway. Cysta Underground Mall at doorstep. Alleys ways filled with lots of food choices. 2. Hotel looks brand new on my arrival! like just launched. 3.Room is cleaned daily. Replenish toiletries daily but no shower cap.. 4.. Bed is comfy double. Room comes with individual aircon which is a plus but all in Japanese on remote. Plus a big window. 4. Professional and almost friendly staff. Ms Kan attended to me who speaks English. The male staff speaks Mandarin. 5. You can store luggage with hotel before check in. Cons 1. Taxi driver not sure where hotel is. So you need to provide address in Japanese to taxi driver. 2. Extension time is up to 11am. No further negotiation. 3. Though room is clean but it is quite a confined space. There is no storage e.g. cupboard and limited space for walking in room when luggage is opened. 4. To close curtains I have to climbed up on bed to get access to curtain as bed is flushed to wall next to window.

very accommodating staff, most importantly the location was superb just few walks away from station, and few walks also from shinsaibashi shopping district. Food selection down in the neighborhood are plenty. You can go for japanese, korean, indian, italian. etc. From Shinsaibashi you can walk straight to dotonbori also. If you carry luggage this hotel has elevator. Not to mention their breakfast every morning delicious!!!! my kids love it esp the fish trout and wide selection of breads and cereal. Rice and pasta are also available and of course dessert. super clean and family friendly hotel

Excellent location, pleasant stay ”

Quintessa garners top marks for being well located to access many shopping, entertainment and dining facilities like Glico man, animal themed cafes, Don Quijote, Shinsaibashi shopping belt, etc. It’s breakfast spread was also very enjoyable. Unfortunately, the twin room was extremely tiny with no space for more than one luggage laid flat on the floor.

New hotel at Shinsaibashi”

Picked this hotel due to newly opened in Sep’17 and comepetitive rate. The hotel is tastefully decorated and it’s location is right next to the shopping street of Shinsaibashi. Besides, there are numerous restaurants and convenient stores nearby and it takes roughly 10-15mins walk to Nankai Namba station. The only downside is it’s limited (2) parking space which you will need to book in advance. Also, when we requested extra pillows for 3 consecutive nights, we were turned down due to insufficient pillows in stock. Other than that, the hotel is great and the staff can communicate in fluent Mandarin too. Will revisit this hotel when I travel to Osaka next time.

My family had a great stay at Quintessa Hotel. Exceptionally clean rooms, excellent location and very near to tourist spots, trains and shopping areas. Will definitely go back to this hotel.

Great facilities walking distance to Shinsaibashi ”

A beautiful, new hotel close to Shinsaibashi shopping and Dontounburi night life. Perfect for a short stay in Osaka. Plenty of places to eat close to the hotel and very close to the underground subway to transport from city to city. Highly recommend staying here!

Clean & Accessible Place to Stay in the Heart of Osaka”

Quintessa Hotel is located near the train stations, grocery shops and surrounded with several subway train station. Hotel Staff speaks and understand English, I also hear them talk fluently in Fukien. Staffs are very polite and helpful. It is also near "Night Life" of Osaka as well as shopping district (High End and not so High End).

Hotel is rather new and room is nice and cosy, but it might be a slight struggle for space with 2 large luggage. Location was good, walkable to the main Shinsaibashi shopping area. There's an Ichiran outlet nearby which doesnt need queueing! We went there around 11am one weekday and we could walk in and get a seat easily! The walk to the nearest train station's gantry can be rather far and can be torturous with a large and heavy luggage due to the ground with the addition of the studs, but there are many many many exits in that station itself. So as long as you get yourself in/out from the nearest and correct exit and walk through the underground link, then dragging the large and heavy luggage would be much easier! If I recall correctly, it is South 6 Exit. We first exited from North 11 on the first day and it was a terrible long and bumpy walk with the luggage. There're also limited spaces to put your things around in the toilet.

This hotel is awesome, strategic locations and very closed to Shinsaibashi area. Walking distance is around 300-400 meter. Furthermore as muslims there is less than 50 foot step from the hotel to the muslim food restaurant. My family really likes this hotel. But please highlight to the hotel that they should provide the umbrella during raining seasons.

Love this hotel! Thank you for the “handy” cellphone which helped us navigate osaka! Room size is acceptable. Complete amenities. Staff even gave us towels , slippers, tbrushes for the 2 kids ( unlike the other review). Location is very accessible within two subway lines, midosuji and Nagahoribashi. Clean rooms, good security. Thanks for a lovely stay!
