Everything was good and nice, they even gave me a 2 hours late check out without charge.

They gave me a special room”

Because I was traveling alone and a female they gave me a room called “lady” and it was so confortable I slept like a baby. The breakfast was very good you can order from the chef. And mostly the staff are very friendly at helpful. I would stay here again if I have the chance to come back to helsinki! :)

The staff were superb. I cannot praise them enough. This booking site, however, provided us with the exact opposite experience.

Nice hotel at great location”

Great spot for a hotel. Many nice restaurants around which are not as expensive as the ones at the harbour. Room is clean but has smaller defects or inpurties. Would anyhow recommend it as the personnel is very helpful and the rooms have everything you need.

Let down during Christmas!”

After booking on Agoda we received an email saying that the hotel will be closed during the Christmas break. If that was the case they should not have listed the hotel on Agoda in the 1st place. There was miscommunication between Agoda and the Hotel and multiple emails were going to and fro with regards to the booking confirmation. We had our booking from 24-26 December at Radisson Blu Aleksanteri Hotel. Since they were closed during Christmas season we were shifted to Radisson Blu Plaza again. This time we noticed the staff at the reception were rude and not friendly at all. They didn't even have a smile on their face especially during the Christmas season (no wishes nothing) and even though we were waiting in queue they didn't even bother acknowledging our presence there. Very RUDE. We requested for twin beds and they gave us a king bed. The toilet drainage was getting clogged and the wifi was not working in our room. Upon complaining they shifted us to another room where the wifi signal was still weak, there were coffee mug stains on the table and the mattress kept sliding off the bed. Didn't expect this from Radisson Blu Plaza. Even sanitizers were not placed at touch points (especially the elevators). The menu was not even available in the room to place an order. Just a let down for the price we paid. On the other hand the only thing that was good was the location of Radisson Blu Plaza. Walking distance from the train station.

Great location and breakfast ”

Cozy and nice hotel in central Helsinki. Good breakfast, service and location. I also like how they kept the room at a good temperature in the November cold. Gym was a bit small and sauna closed due to covid. Otherwise good value for the money.

Potential For Greatness”

This is a nice new hotel in a great location. The food in the restaurant is superb. The staff are lovely people. My only complaint is that the executive lounge is not open yet and this is not noted on the website. They do give you a meal credit, but it isn’t enough to cover evening cocktails/drinks as you would receive in the lounge. If the lounge is not open, this should be noted on the website. If this issue is important to you, call the hotel before booking as the management is not proactively providing this information to potential guests as they should.

Huoneen suihku oli rikki! Vaatteet kastuivat heti alussa! minibaarissa oli puolikajudut viinitpullot. Mitä henkilökunta ei ollut jaksanut vaihtaa edellisten asiakkaiden jälkeen! Lisäksi aamupala ei kuulunut hintaa mikä oli melko kallis! En suosittel!

Bra hotell med sköna sängar”

Bra hotell med sköna sängar. Frukosten var god och det fanns gott om sittplatser i trevlig miljö. Hotellet ligger centralt i ett kvarter med restauranger och barer runt hörnet. Gångavstånd till shoppinggatorna. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka till det här hotellet!
