Excellent hotel. ”

I travel to Bangkok a lot and have stayed in many Bangkok hotels. Especially after a long haul flight, arriving here is the perfect refreshment. Drinks from the bar are reasonably priced and access to the sauna, steam room and gym are free. The wifi works perfectly in all areas of the hotel making it easy to catch up on work. The Radisson Blu Plaza has become my favourite hotel in Bangkok by a long shot. I would (and have) paid more than triple to stay in a hotel of equal quality. My one criticism of The Radisson Blu Plaza is that there are no bottles of water available in the sauna and steam room. Water is available freely in the gym and rooms, so you can still bring your own.

Excellent Hotel and super helpful Staff ever”

I would have to give my greatest appreciation to the staff of Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok Hotel for their professionalism and caring service. I stayed alone in the hotel for 3 nights. I checked out in the afternoon on 24th November. Just then I went to the airport taking the 5pm flight going back to HK. However, I didn't aware that my wallet, keys and lots of money were left in the room's safe until I almost got on the flight. At the same time, I received an email from the Hotel duty manager that there was lost and found in my room. I immediately called back the hotel. They promised me that they would keep in touch with me and arrange delivery. Then I felt reassured and got on the flight going back home. After several email contacts and arrangements, I finally got back all my properties without any lost. Besides, the Radisson is located in a very convenient location which is near to the BTS Asok stop. The SPA "Divana" is just next to the hotel. Health Land Asok is also nearby. Within 5 minutes walk, you can reach Terminal 21 shopping mall. Downstairs of the hotel, there are many

The one thing you need after a long flight and doing battle with taxi drivers in Bangkok is a smiling face to greet you at your Hotel - Well after a strenuous day arriving at The Radisson Blu to be greeted by Miss Shampoo on reception certainly turned a bad day into a good day - Nothing was too much trouble - she went above and beyond her duty to make sure I was happy with my stay and additional half day rate ( as i was checking out late) - Look out Radisson - This Young Lady will be snapped up by the more expensive Hotel chains very quickly! It was a pleasure to stay at the Radisson Blu !

Good value for money”

It was nice to stay in a hotel that have English speaking staff. Hotel is good quality and modern, it lives up to the name and standards of other Radisson Blu hotels. Facilities were good, restaurants were good. We had checked into a different hotel in Sukhumvit on that night, the moment we arrived outside the lobby we could tell it wasn’t a good standard... after checking into our room we immediately looked for another hotel to stay in and decided to check out on that day. We remember seeding Radisson Blu on the way and Radisson being a good name and standard we decided to book there and it was the biggest relief of our holiday to find such a good quality hotel with good value for money. The Italian restaurant onsite was great and it was a relief to have fluent English speaking staff at reception and all other facilities like the pool and bar, gym and spa were great. Slight miscommunication at check out as we were charged on the final bill prepaid stays but all fixed quickly.

Simply great”

We really enjoyed staying at Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel. The room was awesone: spacious, nice decoration, big bathroom, comfortable bed, very well cleaned and maintained The facilities are very good (only the pool could have been bigger with a nicer setup around it). The services is excellent (especially a yuong and very helpful lady at the Front Desk called Monica).

Nice Hotel and good value”

Hotel is in a OK location; not many street vendors around this area off hours; Terminal 21 is probably your best bet for restaurant quality food. Hotel is very clean, every time I turn my head, you can see some staff cleaning something. The facilities itself is somewhat mixed. Their fitness room is ok size; compared to JW Marriott gym, Radisson looks small. They have a few bikes, and some limited weights. Their steam and sauna room are nice, ironically they don't have a Jacuzzi. The hotel room is nice; the power roll up shade for the bathroom window makes the room look a lot bigger. The bathroom was very nice (although the shaving mirror was broken, but no big deal) and good water pressure. The room's A/C control was pretty non existent; it was either too hot or too cold; the thermostat wasn't able to keep it at a consistent temperature even with the fan set to auto. The smart TV worked well; in fact all the HD channel came in clear; there's a break out box on the bench where you can plug an HDMI and various connectors to the TV.. very convenient. Bed wise, it was very comfortable with the right amount of firmness. The L-Shape softa was nice to sit and read or relax, but I would have prefer if there were options to adjust the lights a bit brighter.. lights were plenty but pretty dim. In room dining is lack luster; if you're hungry at 2:00AM in the morning, don't expect much variety. Staff here are very friendly and helpful though. In terms of restaurant, the China Table has very good dim sum, and their entree was great; one of the best Chinese restaurant in Bangkok. Their 26 Bites buffet was ok, nothing great. I would rank this second behind JW's buffet. The roof top beer bar was a nice relaxing atmosphere. You get a city view of Bangkok; go there around 2100 hours, have a beer and a snack for a good way to wind down. Would I stay here again? Probably because I think there's quite a bit of nice hotels in this area. Nothing against the hotel, but just lots of

Fantastic stay,great location,good value for money”

We had a wonderful stay at the Radisson. It was recommended to us by our daughter who lives in Bangkok and is familiar with the hotel. We ended up staying there twice, both at the beginning and end of our holiday. The location is great - close to Asoke BTS and Sukhumvit MRT as well as many shops, restaurants, malls etc. The staff at the hotel are polite, helpful, competent and speak wonderful English. The breakfast buffet offers a wide and delicious variety of food. We didn't indulge in the dinner buffet but my daughter tells me it is fantastic, though living away from home she probably gets more excited over cheese and cold cuts than we do! Pool is lovely, if a little small. Overall, A* performance all round.

They charged for the mini bar”

When i checked in they asked me for my credit card for a deposit for the mini bar. They charged my card 1000 bath and i did not took anything from the mini bar. i never have got the 1000 bath back to my card. Would be great if you are doing it now Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok.

Stayin' Down on Sukhumvit Road...”

In the past you had to search to find a hotel on Sukhumvit near the BTS. Now you don't have that problem, you just have to choose which hotel you will stay at. The selection is very diverse in rate and quality so it depends on what you want. Radisson Blu is one of the newest in the area of Asoke. It sits on the north side of Sukhumvit between Terminal 21 and Emporium. It is close to public transportation, shopping, and dining. But also you have some peace and quiet. The hotel is hidden in plain sight. Inside it is very quiet. There are guests there but the lobby lacks the chaos so prevalent in busy hotels. The rooms are not spacious but are nice. You have your wifi and TV selection but it is via Internet instead of sat. The bed is large and comfortable and provides a platform for a good nights sleep. You will find a fitness, pool, and spa along with a few restaurants. We didn't dine there so cannot comment on the cuisine. I will happily stay there again and recommend to others.

Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok is a new open. Rooms are big and comfortable. Buffet breakfast is good and great vararity of choice. Will come back again

One of the best 5-star hotels in Bangkok”

I've stayed at many 5 star hotels around BKK and the Radisson Blu is really excellent. One of the nicest rooms I've stayed in, the hotel feels very new, staff is very polite, room service food quality was excellent. Overall value very good. Would suggest this hotel over many other similar properties.

IMHO this place is hard to beat in Sukhumvit. I have stayed here many times and can compare it against at least 50 hotels in Bkk and across Thailand. Rad Blu has fantastic well appointed rooms, awesome service in every area, top facilities, delicious reasonably priced food and at a superb location. Get the rooms at a good online price and boom its a winner.

Great Comfotable Bed ! Good Stay :) ”

Overall I had a great stay att Radisson Blu Plaza. The only disappointment I experienced is that I feel the swimming pool is too small for a 5 star hotel. It could only accommodate between 5-8 persons for a good swim. The refilling of food during breakfast could be faster as the wait can be long . The traffic outside the hotel main road is horrible during Friday and Saturday , vehicles all stuck in long jams!

I decided to experience the comforts of a 5 star hotel during my stay in Bangkok. In fact, I found that the Radisson was able to offer me all the things I needed for a comfortable stay. The first thing is that I paid a little extra and stayed in the Junior Suite which includes complimentary cocktails in the Executive Lounge for 2 hours. The cocktails were delicious and well made, after 2 Long Islands and a glass of House Wine I felt very comfortable. Another thing that I should mention is the size of the room and view. Not only is the room extra large but the view of the swimming pool and city was nice. Even though there is a run down building next to the hotel that didn't really distract from the sights. If you are a foodie, then the breakfast is for you and the buffet tries to cater for a wide variety of tastes and cultures. Finally, I must say thanks to my guides 'Pimwadee T, Lynn O and Tik P' who you can find on itravellocal.com They were able to help me navigate the city with ease during the day and evening. Without them, I wouldn't have seen so much of the city. So, do book them if you need a guide around the city. All in all, it was a nice stay and I'd like to come back in the future.
