Magnificent hotel”

Radisson SAS Plaza is conveniently located in the city center near the Central Railway Station. We booked a standard room, it was neat and clean. Breakfast was included in the rate, it was really great, the best I've ever tried. We arrived early about 11 a.m. and the administrator checked us in without any problems. They let us use their computer in the Business Center without extra charge. We had some problems with our room TV and the administrator moved us to another room which was nearby very quickly. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay in Helsinki.

best hotel experience so far. Highly recommended”

though we only stayed in Radison Blu Plaza Helsinki for one night, it was one of the most personable and delightful hotel experience I have ever had, thanks to the receptionist, Roman Sivek who offered us a late check out (we arrived late evening after a Long flight from Singapore) and loads of travel tips for our short trip. Also the shortcut to train station made our second day extra easy considering we are carrying big suitcases. The room was spacious, well maintained and the bed was very comfy. The breakfast hall was amazing, love the architecture. We also managed to use the hotel sauna which is well maintained.... definitely recommended!

Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Helsinki is the best choice in Helsinki. it is located in a convenient place where is near the central station.

Second Visit Even Better”

This was my second stay, and it was even better than my first! Two reasons: I just checked out of the Sokos Presidentti, and the comparison between our room in the Sokos and our room in the Radisson was like night and day! And I think they have two wings, with two sets of elevators, and one wing is OK (my last visit), and the other wing (this visit) has big, lovely rooms. Maybe I accidentally got a superior room this stay, and a standard room last trip. It was great! Overall, it's hard to fault this hotel, and it's probably a good first choice for a downtown Helsinki hotel.

Stay at the Radisson Blu Plaza in Helsinki”

We stayed 3 days at the Radisson Blu Plaza and enjoyed excellent breakfast buffets and generally good overall service by the reception desk. We were able to walk to many tourist attractions and to the port outdoor markets where we found excellent souvenirs. Outdoor cafes were closeby. The Grand Casino was next door. Linens were clean and beds and pillows were comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable, well-located city hotel”

This hotel is just a few minutes walk from the main railway station and bus station, but on a quiet side street so very little noise. It's also only minutes away from the shopping and the harbour. The rooms are well-designed with some cool features(I've not stayed in a room with 3D TV before). Breakfast was OK, but not great (industrial scambled eggs)and the club lounge canapes were very disappointing, but hotels are mainly about rooms, and the Radisson Plaza Helsinki scores highly in that respect.

Great hotel, great location”

This hotel is perfectly located--right on the main square that houses the central railway station and the bus lines, and has easy access to all of downtown Helsinki and various forms of public transportation. The rooms are very nice, airy and clean; the staff is super-helpful and the breakfast buffet is amazing! All in all, a very nice and reasonably-priced hotel.

Everything As Expected - Great Location”

The Radisson SAS Plaza is a reliable choice, with good facilities and an excellent location only a few steps from the railway station and airport bus. I arrived late in the evening, and only one reception staff member was working, assisting a guest with a lost luggage issue. Despite this, I was acknowledged right away, and the agent did his best to get me checked in as soon as he was free. The rooms are well-equipped, and there were not problems of note. The Radisson practice of free internet access and breakfast are both welcome and helps ensure there are no surprises on check-out. As this stay was prepaid and I had no extras, departure was a fast 30 seconds. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Helsinki and wants a convenient and comfortable hotel that generally represents good value in comparison with other properties in it's category.

Very comfortable with excellent breakfast”

I stayed in another Radisson Hotel in Helsinki before. As expected, this one was as good as the previous one, very comfortable. The room and facilities look quite new. The breakfast was very good.

Great location just next to the railway station and short walking distance to all the key attractions and venues in Helsinki. Clean and well-kept hotel with good service and pretty impressive food. Highly recommended whether you’re traveling for business or just want to visit Helsinki.

Excellent hotel”

I really enjoyed my stay at the SAS Radisson Plaza. The location is great, it is central to shopping, public transportation and major sights. There are excellent restaurants near by. Since it's located at on a dead end street the hotel is quiet. There is a very nice park located at the end of the street. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The floors in the hallway can be a little loud when people walk past you're room. I highly recommend this hotel.

A Great Hotel”

The hotel is very beautiful. It is near the train station and at the city centre. The breakfast is wonderful. The sauna and wifi are free of charge and with good quality. I will stay at this hotel again next time I visit Helsinki!

The staff and the services is excellent ”

We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel.. when checking in the staff is very helpful, when I asked for late check out, the staff reception let us check out at 6 pm. Very recommended hotel in the heart of city Helsinki

Good hotel”

The hotel is located to very close to the station and city centre. So it is good area wherever I go, but I couldn not find any shops for buying the water or small stuffs near the hotel.Also they do not prepare the information of Helsinki transport, like bus or tram root map, even they have the city map. I just thought if they have something at the reception for it, it would be more helpful.Beside,the hotel stuffs are alright and the room is clean, so I may choose this hotel again.

Location and convenience ”

Fantastic location right accross the Helsinki Railway station and walking distance to most if the main attractions. Staff were polite and very helpful. Concierge was very efficient in providing us recommendations for places of interest and restaurant reservations. Rooms were a bit too small for a family of four.

Good location in Helsinki and friendly staff”

Good location within walking distance of the main railway station; downtown restaurants, cafe's and shopping locations in Helsinki. Staff are friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast had a reasonably good selection, with gluten free options. Housekeeping was not great.. They left mugs and glasses out and we had to call to have them cleaned and replaced. Overall, what you would expect from a chain.

This hotel is perfectly located, not far from the train station and downtown Helsinki. It's quiet, the rooms are nice and confortable, and the price is affordable, for Finland. Recommanded!
