Staying at the Ramada Plaza Menam Hotel”
I have been coming to Bangkok at least once a year for the last five years. Normally, when I visit, I stay in the hustle and bustle of Pratunam or Sukhumvit with the noise, traffic and pollution that goes with it. What a pleasure to discover the Ramada Plaza Menam Riverside Hotel. To sit and have coffee in peace in the open air overlooking the river watching the barges, longtail boats and hotel ferry boats going up and down on their respective journeys. The hotel has its own complementary ferry boat service. This service takes you to Central Pier which has a connection to the sky train network. It takes seven minutes from the hotel to the pier and the boat service runs all day, I believe until midnight. Should you not want to use the sky train network, there are plenty of shops including Robinson's, restaurants, massage parlours etc. within easy walking distance. If you walk a little further along Charoen Road, you will find many shops selling jewelry and semi precious stones. The Ramada Plaza Menam Riverside is ideal for anyone who wishes to combine the calm of the river with the hustle and bustle and vibrancy of Bangkok.

Very comfortable friendly Hotel on River”
We have stayed in Bangkok several times over the last few years at various hotels. Our stay at the Ramada Plaza Bangkok Menam Riverside was absolutely beautiful. The Hotel is well equipped and has large rooms that are well appointed. Easy access to the river and associated piers with the Ramada Rice Barge which is free and easy access to the BST Sky train via the barge. The neighbourhood while not a shopping neighbourhood is friendly and there are some very good and clean food carts on the street not far from the Hotel. Asiatique is a short walk away which has good shopping, bars and eateries. The pool water was cold as it does not get a huge amount of sun due to the building height but this would be magnificent in hot weather. I would thoroughly recommend this Hotel to any traveller.

Perfect stay, amazing staff”
We stayed at Ramada Plaza Bangkok Menam Riverside for 3 nights. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. First of all, we could check in much earlier than the normal time. After having traveled for 15 hours this was incredibly appreciated by the whole exhausted family. Moreover, when I had twisted my ankle severly while temple hopping, the staff went out of their way to help me, arranged a hospital visit and checked how I was doing. The complimentary fruit basket while spending a whole day in the hotel room was definitely the highlight of the stay. The hotel is very close to the ferry stop which will take you to the temples and the Grand Palace and also to a very lively shopping mall. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great property along the Chao Phraya River”
We stayed at Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Bangkok Menam Riverside for 5 nights from 20th December through 25th December 2018. We stayed in a River view Suite which was spacious with two large windows in the living and the bedroom facing the river. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were spacious with a dedicated shower cubicle and a stand alone bath tub and dressing area with all required toiletries arranged neatly. The best part we liked about this property was the attention to detail which made our stay memorable. The property although existed for a long time provides all the amenities you would expect form any 5 star property. The rooms were sound proof and we could barely hear any noise from outside.

International Standard with a Thai Feeling”
the beautifully situated ramada menam riverside hotel, provides you with a true thai experience and great views of the chao praya river. this very well maintained hotel, fulfills its 4 1/2 star rating. breakfast here is a great start to your day with a wide variety of cuisine, good service and if you like, a seat table on the riverside, where you can watch bangkok go by ! a great pool, plenty of lounge areas in which to relax and a convenient free shuttle boat to the bts skytrain stop and local ferry terminus will afford you a great holiday in bangkok. my only criticism would be the somewhat " patchy" english skills of some of the staff working on reception. all staff did their best to make me feel welcome and did it in a genuine manner.

Fantastic in every way!!”
we loved our stay at the ramada plaza menam riverside. the highlights are the view of the river, the ease with which you can get around bangkok and the excellent service. the hotel has a great outlook over the river from rooms and the restaurant is right on the river. it's especially nice at night, sitting outside in the heat of the evening with the light up seats, bar, meals etc. definately include the breakfast in you stay, it's lovely. the pool in huge and clean. the service is great, eg cool towel and iced water on arrival and on the shuttle boat.

Absolute Heaven.. I loved my stay here”
i had been staying at a three star hotel previously and let me say what a difference it was to stay here. the breakfast alone was worth the extra money to me really. me and my wife really had a great time here. i actually wish we had spent more time in the room instead of exploring thong lor on our last night. the breakfast is truly world class and has a ton of selections and there is a free boat that goes to the saphan taksin bts station about every 30 minutes. on top of that, the hotel definitely earns its 5 star rating and is an exceptional value for its price. i would absolutely stay there again and thing that ramada plaza menam riverside hotel is one of the best hotels i have ever had the chance to stay at so far due to its excellent service, beautiful lobby and pool area, lovely rooms, and outstanding breakfast! do yourself a favor and book here. you will see that this hotel competes quite well against other five stars in terms of pure value. you won't regret it.

Hotel Riverside Ramada”
Most people think that they cannot affords a riverside hotel in Bangkok but it is not true. The Menam Riverside Remada has a fabulous riverside location and the price is amazing. The buffet breakfast is lovely, right out on the river. The restaurant in the evening is great and the views from the room are spectacular. Its location is perfect now, just minuts by the hotel shuttle boat from the skytrain station. The best of Bangkok is along the river and it is great to be there for a decent price.

Great Resort”
Had a wonderful stay at the Ramada Plaza Menam. Hotel has great view of the Chao Praya River, so many evenings were spent at the hotel's riverside pubs and restaurants. It has easy access to other parts of Bangkok via the river. Outside the hotel, there are many local restaurants to taste the local fare like tom yam soup at local prices. There are also tour agencies outside so day trips can be arranged. And there are several massage palours to soothe the tired muscles after a long day touring Bangkok. As usual, the stay was too short.

Really enjoyed our brief stay at Ramada Plaza Riverside Menam Riverside. We had not stayed so far down river before but the frequent courtesy shuttles to central pier made it very easy to get into the centre. ( The cold wet cloths on the way back we're very appreciated!) It was very nice to be out of the hustle and bustle of downtown. Our room was well appointed and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast catered for all tastes and of course the service was impeccable. My only negative comment was the lengthy checkout process. Would very much recommend the hotel and the experience.

Great Hotel and Great Service”
The Ramada Plaza Menam Riverside Hotel was a great choice for us. The hotel was fantastic. We had the river and pool view. The room was large, clean, very light with great views. The bathroom was clean (no mould or mildew). The service was wonderful, staff were extremely friendly and very attentive. It was my husband's birthday and I mentioned it to one of the receptionist and before we new, there was a birthday cake waiting for us in the evening. The choice of food was fantastic, I'm a vegetarian (no sea food or meat) and I had plenty of choice. Eating out on the hotel terrace and watching the boats go by was a nice ending to an evening.

Excellent stay, wonderful staff, nice amenities”
We had a fantastic evening at Ramada Plaza Bangkok, located about a 5-10 minute walk from Asiatique. The staff at the front desk was amazing, giving us a free upgrade to a suite room that was modern and fantastic. The hotel itself has been here for awhile, but this doesn't deter it from being one of the best, most affordable riverside hotels in Bangkok. The breakfast restaurant offers great views of the Chao Praya and the pool is large and great as well. They also have a small gym complete with a spa, sauna, steam and jacuzzi area. Overall, we couldn't have been happier and certainly will be back.

Family Holiday in Bangkok”
Our family really enjoyed our stay at ramada riverside menam. We were in the executive floor werein it's more quiet. The food was great and the service was excellent especially to the two staff Irene and Elle. It was good that they have complimentary tuktuk service and asiatique was just a few steps away. Our room was cleaned everyday and we were thankful to the complimentary water provided for us. The only thing is the decor along the hallway is a bit outdated and needs updating. It's easier to travel thru there water taxi going to saphin taksin station. Overall, I highly recomended ramada riverside menam.

Ramada Hotel Bangkok”
I surprised my wife to a honeymoon stop-over here after our extended honeymoon back-packer travel across Asia and whilst anything better than a clean room would have please her at that point, The Ramada was simply luxury and wonder. The hotel staff greeted us with a wedding bouquet and filled our room with rose petals and white towels shaped into swans. The room continued to delight with an ensuite elegantly set back behind glass. We could not have been more comfortable and our bed couldn't have been bigger. Your real treat, although I shouldn't admit it as a honeymooner, is the riverside/top restaurant that serves any cuisine that would wet the appetite to an amazing standard, all with the backdrop of downtown Bangkok to offer an unforgettable evening under the stars and literally on top of the river. Looking at the map, you might fear that the Ramada is too far from the lights, but jump of the hotel's own frequent and complimentary river boat and you're on your way to the city centre in way that many tourist will pay for regardless of the hotel to which you'll return. The Ramada's decor, its setting, its staff, its facilities and above all its refinement will leave you leaving Bangkok utterly satisfied. A wonderful stay.

Lovely hotel with an amazing river view”
We just spent one night at the Ramada Plaza Menam Riverside Hotel and we enjoyed our stage very much. The room was nice and clean, everything you need was available (even more ;-)). The swimming pool is very nice as well, big enough to swim. We recommend as well the Spa & Massage, which was amazing. The breakfast was included in our booking, and there was a huge choice of food.

my first time at ramada plaza menam riverside hotel was very impressive. i really enjoyed my 2 night stay. the hotel staff are excellent, very helpful and a lot of smile & greeting. my room with river view was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. buffet breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices and they are served at the restaurant by the river.

Excellent Hotel; great location to relax”
The Ramada Menam Riverside is one of my favorite hotels in Bangkok. It is on the river, close to Asiatique, and easy access to the Sky Train. The rooms and the pool are very nice; the hotel is wonderful. The staff is always very helpful, and tries to ensure that the guests' stay is "without hassles". We enjoyed out stay. Ramada Plaza Menam Hotel - Good food, Bad view”
The Ramada Plaza Menam hotel is located in Riverside in Bangkok, which is a pretty good area because it's close to a lot of restaurants, shopping places and major streets. The hotel itself is older but well kept and certainly on the luxurious side. The room we had was clean and comfortable with a separate living room and bedroom, which was nice. But the air conditioning was difficult to control and the two rooms were different temperatures (the living room was too warm and the bedroom was too cold). The view of the river was the most disappointing part. I suppose that is not the hotel's fault, but it still put a damper on the experience. The breakfast was quite good, however. Lots of variety and good quality too. Overall I would recommend this hotel if you don't care about the view and just want a nice, clean, fancy place to stay with good food.

Nice hotel and friendly staff”
Despite a slight 'hiccup' I find our stay very relaxing. After 3 days of shopping/walking around MBK, Terminal 21, Chatchuchak, Pratunam area and Ekamai we checked into Ramada Plaza Menam Riverside Hotel for a rest before heading home. Took us 5 mins to walk over to Asiatique (riverside eating cum shopping place) for dinner. Next morning after breakfast took the free shuttle boat to the BTS Sathorn Taksin station (enjoyed the boat ride) and walked around the area (there's a Robinson departmental store and Tops supermarket). Can take the BTS to MBK again (get off National Stadium Station) except no time since we need to head back to check out at 2pm to head for airport.
