Lovely little resort in the hillside stunning views”
This is a stunning little resort built into the hillside with great views and friendly staff. Rooms are dated but have AC ensuite and a TV. Breakfast was very tasty and i was very welcomed. I was at the taaras before here spending 5 times as much and that wasnt worth it. This place is peaceful and great value for money. Watching the sunrise in the morning on my balcony was bliss. The walk to the room is steep but worth it. Highly recommend for a budget stay.

VERY SATISFIED ”
staffs are very friendly. booked for queen room but the receptionist give us the big room. room for family which is 2 king bed for us!!!!! the food also delicious and the price is reasonable. but this resort a little bit far from turtle beach (about 15 - 20 mins by walking) from the resort. but it’s okay you can rent motorcycle or van to go there. overall we have a very wonderful moments there. very recommended.

Gem in the jungle”
We loved our stay and will definitely come back. Very quiet place -only jungle noises. The staff was very kind and helpful let us check in early and check out early. The room is small but enough for 2 persons with nice terrace and good AC and hot shower. The wifi was surprisingly good which is a bonus. Only a kettle and a fridge we missed. The beach nearby is gorgeous and very quiet. You can rent snorkeling equipement on the beach and swim with the turtles. The bbq fish on the beach is amazing. There is a jungle track to Long Beach too (30-45 minutes tracking, up to your speed, but you need shoes). Around the hotel there are quite a few restaurants, so you can easily find a place to eat and even order food with free delivery (try the roti canai place down the road - 10 minutes walk but you also can order your breakfast from them, amazing!) All in all we had a wonderful time, thank you for your hospitality.

We stayed there for 2 days n 1 night,definitely worth the stay.The foods in restaurants are tasty plus freshly served. Trip also was arranged by them and the boatman service (Triple A) was very good and friendly

Rimba is a resort where hospitality, friendliness and good service comes in a package. With the nice jungle view and 15mins walk from the very beautiful beach, the resort also serves very delicious halal food. It's really worth staying here and we recommend Rimba to all other guests.

Not the best of choice of Redang but definitely enjoyed my stay”
The hotel was 20 minutes walking distance from a secluded beach, or 5 minutes distance from a private resort beach that you can sneak into. You have to walk up some stairs to reach to your room, but you will find a great view of the jungle. The furniture inside was a little bit dated, and there was some ants coming on the beds, toiletries provided was limited, but aside all that everything else was good.

Quiet side of the island”
The hotel is located on the quiet side of the island, walking distance to the best (and empty!) Beach on the island. No alcohol is served or sold on this side, however there's a fancy hotel.near by that does sell it but very expensive. The staff was Incredibly attentive and friendly. The furniture needs to be renovated as it was breaking bad and didnt look.good.

Cleanliness”
The toilet bowl need to be cleaned regularly. The resort staff should not allowed to sleep on the sofa infront of the reservation counter. It does not look good to the guest and the guest might not feel comfortable. Others are good and the staff are very helful and courteus.

The location of this hotel is about 1km or 15 minutes walk from the nearest beach. The hotel were able to provide transport to the beach or the Redang island Jetty for some fees. There is a local restaurant just opposite the hotel, affordable price and tasty food. The hotel is not disable or elderly friendly, as you need to climb up stairs to go to your room. Room are clean, with towels provided. However no kettle or drinking water provided, but you can request it from the hotel cafe. The room are not clean daily by housekeeping. Staff were helpful but not very friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

Near to the best beach on the Island”
The resort is on the other side of the island, which is more quite, great for privacy and most importantly,it is close to the best beach on Redang. Be warned that you will have to hike (quite a bit depending on your fitness) to get to the beach daily, but I promise you it would be very worth it. We swam with the turtles just off that beach and didn't have to pay for any snorkeling package for that experience. There's nothing to shout about the resort itself, it's very basic but good enough because we spend the entire day out on the beach anyway. It is set on a hill, so if you have elderly travelling with you, request for the chalet at lower level so they don't have to climb up to get to their room. The main selling point is the proximity to the beach at a great value for money.

I came with a 2 year old infant. It is located in the middle of forest (as the name is) so expect no beach view. But it was still a good place to stay. Very calmy. The chalet is arranged in a upward manner on a hill. Got the highest room so i have to climb to the top using stairs with my infant. Recommended for solo traveller/ young couple with no children. Not recommended to those who comes with young children or old folks. Or you can request for lower room. But the staff is veryyy friendly and helpful. Other downside is that, they have no kettle in the room. So u have to request hot water from the staff and they will give u in a thermos.

Lovely beach”
The room was clean & comfortable for 2 days stay. Dont forget to bring your own electric keetle. The beach was so beautiful. We rent motorcycle for 2 days (RM60/day) so we can go to the beach & sightseeing. There are 2 restaurant outside the resort and the food was nice!

Suitable if u r on budget n don't mind to stay in a hotel near Hill instead of beach. The nearest beach is actually close to taaras beach n turtle Bay where its crystal clear water w white sand. U can rent motorcycle for rm60 per day or 40 half day to go to the beach, if not walk ard 20mins. Clean room, jst tht no kettle provided in room n you need to get it fr lobby. Stafs are friendly n food reasonably priced as well
