Very personalized service by staff”

Loved and enjoyed our stay in Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel. Very convenient location with Central Mall, Central Embassy, Central World, and all other malls within walking distance. We got the Executive Room which was quite expensive compared to the regular rooms but really worth it! The breakfast at the Executive Lounge afforded us a vast choice of Thai and continental breakfast items. Loved the smoked salmon and the Blue Cheese particularly. Was very impressed with the personalized service by One, Kwan, Kaimook, Billy and the quiet but efficient service of the team assigned to the lounge. Will definitely stay there again with my kids!

renaissance bangkok hotel ratchaprasong located in the center of bangkok. the hotel is very new which decorate with modern style. breakfast is very great. swimming pool also excellent. you can walk to many place such as central world shopping mall, siam paragon, gasorn plaza,big c and platinum shopping mall. you also can see the best view of bangkok in your room. hotel is closer to bts ( sky train) which make you convenience to go anywhere. i love this hotel and definitely be back to stay here again.

Absolutely wonderful”

On our frequent travels, we do not have any hotel brand preference not until our stay at Renaissance Ratchaprasong, which is part of Marriot's. We would definitely in our future travels stay would give preference to the Marriot brand. The service in Renaissance Ratchaprasong was impeccable, starting from the check-in to the entire 6d stay. What was commendable was the offer of a room upgrade which we took for a very minimal cost but complete with a full range of perks. We were also given outright the Marriot Membership card to be used in our future bookings. Hotel's location was great as its walking distance to the Ratchaprasong Shopping District and to BTS skytrain Chidlom wherein you will have access to the rest of the city proper. Very quiet as it is not located along the main street of Rama. One suggestion that we would want to impart would be variety of choices and change of its breakfast buffet menu. We stayed for 6days and it will begin to tire you after you have done your 3rd. We will be back soonest!

Wonderful 3 nights at a great location”

We stayed at the Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel for 3 nights in October 2014 and we really liked its location which is very close to the shopping district of Bangkok. The rooms are very nicely decorated and are generally well maintained. The external facade of the hotel is also easily identifiable as it is located right beside the Chitlom BTS. There are many shopping centres within reach of the hotel and the biggest attraction being the Central World, the largest shopping centre in Bangkok. The service we received from check in to departure was excellent. The buffet breakfast had a very wide selection and variety and restaurant staff were always friendly. However there were plenty of corporate people staying there as they were holding conferences everyday in the ballroom. We enjoyed out stay at the Renaissance and would consider it again due to its excellent location to the BTS and also shopping belt.

Stunning hotel and excellent service”

the problem with this hotel is that it is very difficult to find another hotel that compares to the renaissance experience. from the very second that we arrived to the time of our departure, our experience at this hotel was nothing less than fabulous. we have stayed in bangkok more than 7 times and this occasion was simply the best. from the welcoming reception, to the beautiful rooms and bathrooms, to the restaurant staff and chefs, we can only commend the rennaisance. the hotel is well located in ratchaprasong, which is a minutes walk from the skywalk and mrt, so the rest of bangkok is literally at your doorstep.

Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel has been always my first top hotel stay in Bangkok. This hotel never fails to smile at each individual guest at any point of the day. The location is perfect (easily accessible to major shopping malls)! Everything is so perfect about this hotel. You just gotta try it! =)

Great Hotel”

We often travel to Thailand for a quick holiday and we always stay a night or two at the Renaissance Hotel Ratchaprasong while in Bangkok, then we move on to a beach resort. For being in the city, the Renaissance is in a good location for shopping or dining locally. Being in the city center allows for easy access to anything in the city. The staff there is always friendly and helpful. We will continue to use this hotel for all our stays in Bangkok.

Beautiful, modern, upscale hotel”

You can't beat the Renaissance. You get the 5-star luxury without paying the 5-star price like the other big chains around Erawan. The Renaissance is tucked just behind the Erawan beside the Chit Lom BTS station. There isn't much to do or eat there late at night except for McDonalds. During the day and evening, however, the Siam area is bustling with people, shops, street merchants, etc. The hotel itself is a modern chic with touches of Thai culture. The room is spacious with a large bathroom with glass windows and a big tub. The room even has a gong! The bed, pillows, and sheets are extremely comfortable. A few hiccups with the housekeeping: the first time they took away one towel for no reason, but housekeeping is very fast once you call them, and they're very polite and professional; the second time they left the cold water faucet knob detached (it was already loose) without doing anything about it, but the next day they had maintenance glue it back on; and on the third time they didn't refill our free bottles of water. Things like these happen, but what I appreciated was their response to these things. Room service food was very good, too. The Renaissance has a DTS service, which is basically a one-button service on the phone. The operator will take care of anything you need. No need to call separately the front desk, housekeeping, room service, etc. And their wifi (and wired) internet was very fast and reliable. Don't forget to check out their pool on the top floor.

No doubt, this is the best hotel in BKK thus far. I have always been going back to Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel. I just cant find other alternatives. For the price and location, it is value for money. Keep it up!

Great location, very convenient and comfortable”

My 2nd time stayed in Renaissance Ratchaprasong, and still memorable experience. The room is not that big but providing home-coming feeling with a little bit bolder color theme than other chain 5 stars. Only down-side is that the roof-top swimming pool is not heated (of course, it doesn't make sense to build heated pools in Bangkok), the water could be quite cold if there's not enough sunshine (it's essentially an indoor poor with A/C and glass roof), so it's always cold esp in the morning. The hotel should consider the pool temperature problem.

A very pleasant and restful stay”

Our family absolutely enjoyed our 3 nights at Renaissance. We received a very warm, yet casual welcome upon reaching the hotel (love the home made candy at the check in counter). Check in was swift and we were ushered to the room within 10 mins. Everything in the room looked contemporary and worked great. The wall electrical outlets caters to plugs from different countries and are all within arm reach. Internet is stable and fast. Location is probably the biggest plus point of this hotel. BTS station, convenient shops, pharmacies and malls (more than 3) are all within walking distance. I must commend the staff (front desk, room, restaurants, bell, concierge, fitness and pool) must delivering such professional service and warm hospitality. We felt like VIPs everywhere we went in this hotel. Totally love their smiles and good command of English. Only 1 complaint. The water temp of the pool is way too cold. My daughter and I were in the pool at around 4pm but could only stay in the water for less than 15 mins. Feel kind of strange that this is happening to us in a hot climate like Bangkok. There again, it could be just us. Will definitely return to this hotel. Job well done, Renaissance.

Wonderful staff, great stay! ”

It has been a pleasant stay for a family as there is a heated, salted water, indoor swimming pool which my kids enjoyed. The hotel staff were more than friendly to talk to you and to serve you. This is actually my second time staying at renaissance. I have stayed in other hotels (amari watergate and berkeley) before but the service in renaissance was by far the best. There is also a massage shop near renaissance (body tune) and they were having promotions for massage which i felt the price was reasonable for the good quality massage. The hotel is easily accessible and sheltered all the way to the bts (nearest chitlom). From renaissance, you can walk to Amarin shopping center which is located just beside renaissance. Usually we will head to level 4 (if im not wrong) food court and eat mango sticky rice for just 60 baht, and recently, i tried the moo-ping (braised pork leg without bones) rice which tasted yummy! Overall, the stay was fantastic! If i were to go bkk again, renaissance will still be my hotel choice! :)

One of the Best at Bangkok”

i've tried novotel siam square, marriott, lebua state tower and centara grand centralworld before and renaissance bangkok is only second to lebua in terms of hotel amenities and general impression. i stayed for a short two days as a stopover. the location of the hotel is excellent, within walking distance (500m) to the city centre where all malls are connected to one another. it is also very near (100m) to bts ploencit station. service of the staffs are friendly and they speak good english as expected. nearby the hotel there is also 24-hour mcd and some local food. it is quite a good choice for a short getaway. it is a little pricey but well worth the money.

renaissance bangkok hotel ratchaprasong is an excellent hotel with a great service. hotel rooms are modern & well furnished, very good lobby. breakfast is widespread with a lot of options. location is wonderful right next to the bts. i would definitely stay here again.

renaissance bangkok hotel ratchaprasong is one of the most beautiful boutique hotels in asia. the interior design of the hotel is excellent. the bed is very comfortable. this is very important for me because after a day's shopping in town we need a good rest. the staffs were friendly and helpful. yummy breakfast!

Fantastic stay and very near to BTS station Chit Lom”

The first thing you noticed when you walk through the lobby is the sweet fragrance of the special renaissance blend aroma oil, the lobby decor itself is very soothing to the senses. Personally, I prefer this decor. The checking in was seamless and they even offered various room upgrades, if you so wish, you can pay extra to upgrade. Pretty good deals but I declined because I will not be spending much time in the hotel anyway. The room itself is very spacious, you can open two big luggage at the same time and still find enough space to walk about. I like it that the toilet is big with separate bath and shower. The only issue I have is the blind... You know there is a gap between the blind and the glass, if you take a dump, your roomate can see from the gap. It is really not pleasant. I took a tape to close this irritating gap so that I could shit in peace. I have to applaud the concierge they helped me book the House Of Sathon high tea without any fuss... And the place does not take reservations. Talk about pulling in favours. Nice. The breakfast buffet is really good, fresh fruits that are peeled on the spot at your request. Fresh coconuts and the best in house yoghurt ever! I love the yoghurt. The main shopping complexes are like 10-15 min walk away... Siam Paragon, Central World, etc. If you're tired, take the train. One stop to Siam and two or three stops to Terminal 21. Will stay there again the next time I am there! The shops near the station are really good too!! Yay!

Nice hotel with good location”

Renaissance Bangkok is at a great location where all the big shopping malls (Siam Paragon, Central world, Central Chidlom, etc... ) are within walking distance. And, the BTS is close too. The rooms are new and clean. The room service is good too. The in-room dining menu is pretty good too. Overall, it's a good hotel. But, i think it's on the expensive side for Bangkok.

Excellent hotel”

Hotel is located just 5 min from Chit Lom BTS and connected to the BTS skywalk. It only took us 5-10 walk to the next BTS Station, Siam. Instead of walking on the streets, we used the sheltered skywalk to walk to Siam which is also located next to many major shopping malls. Chit Lom is a very central location and is accessible to the airport. In fact we took the BTS to and from the airport to the hotel. Took about an hour each way. We love the fact that our hotel is near Watsons and 7-Eleven convenience stores as we could buy our toiletries and snacks anytime we needed to :) After we checked in, the friendly hotel staff asked us if we wish to upgrade our rooms and get complimentary daily buffet breakfast at their in house restaurant, Flavors at a small price. We didn't regret our choice as the room was huge, clean and luxurious! The buffet breakfast spread was very good and we looked forward to breakfast every morning. Hotel staff were so warm, providing us with detailed recommendations of where to visit and even explaining to us the type food that was served to us. We were so impressed by the excellent service and warm hospitality of the hotel staff that we decided that we will definitely come back to this hotel again when we are back in Bangkok in future.

A day of shopping”

My wife and I visit Bangkok for a day of shopping whenever I have to head back to work. Renaissance Hotel is very convenient for shopping at CentralWorld and Siam Paragon. Its a wonderful hotel, very comfortable rooms and the breakfast they served was great. I highly recommend paying the extra money to include breakfast for your room its well worth it. I also tried the spa (20% off special when I checked in). It was a very relaxing experience and perfect before heading back to work.

Nice hotel and room upgraded ”

Have a good stay in Renaissance Bangkok - our last day of the 5-day trip in Thailand. It is located at very convenient area - close to BTS station, central world, 1 station to Siam Paragon. Our room got upgraded (Marriott member) to a deluxe room with free internet access, very big washroom with bath-tube just adjacent to the windows. Buffet Breakfast is very great. We love the juices - the attendant makes fresh juices base on your choice, you can mix with several kinds of fruits. I ordered a young coconut and it is very fresh.
