Fantastic location, great value for money”
i have stayed at this hotel twice now- i am definitely a return customer. great location- central train station and buses right at the doorstep. close to syd uni and cbd. haymarket chinatown just round the corner, broadway shopping centre just up the road. i really think the location is the best feature of this hotel rooms are decent sized for a standard studio hotel room. there is a bar/restaurant - i've never eaten there except for breakfast, which is ok, nothing to rave about. but then again so many eating places in sydney, why would you want toe at in a hotel lobby anyway? there is a nice rooftop pool outdoors, though too cold for swimming most of year (because it's sydney), but in summer i imagine it would be quite nice for a dip free internet for 3 hrs/day- you have to ask reception for a passsword no credit card or public holiday surcharges overall so many things to like, so little price, definitely value for money

Excellent Location Good Basic Accommodation”
I have stayed here several times. No it does not have Sydney Harbour views but that's what makes it economical. As an ex-Sydneysider I now come to Sydney for business and leisure so this hotel is perfect fpr my needs. Great location on the edge of China Town, across the road from Central Railway Station, a short walk to Darling Harbour. This southern part of the CBD is undergoing massive re-development (eg Central Park) and so the location is even better. The hotel is modern and very comfortable but relatively basic. It does have in-room tea and coffee making and an ironing board and iron (both important when I'm in Sydney for work). I choose not to include breakfast as there are some excellent cafes serving breakfast nearby. Free (but slow) WiFi is a big plus for an Australian hotel.

Perfect stay in Sydney Central”
I booked Rendezvous Hotel a few months in advance, so I think I have got a good discount at that time, with free premium WiFi (although it turned out not easily connected). The room was spacious, clean & quite, easily controlled room temperature, has provided the exactly basics what I needed to stay in a hotel, the cups & teabags from three countries were impressive which I couldn’t stop trying how different they were. Although I have been to Sydney many times as I lived in Eastern Suburb before, I hadnot recognised it was so centrally located in Sydney Central until I transferred hotel from the West of Sydney by taking train to Central, just opposie to the Cental Station & just cross the road to get buses to other suburbs. Places of interest are easy to find way to go, both towards Town Hall & Broadway, along George St. When I tried to search my favourite & inexpenive Thai food restaurant, SATANG THAI, which turned out just opposite to Rendezvous on Quay St. Great stay for me!

Great location and excellent value”
Considering how much hostels have become in Sydney, this hotel offers fantastic value for the price. It's conveniently located across the road from the Central Station and a short walk to Chinatown. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with stylish furnishings, and a king size bed. Useful amenities such as 3 hours of internet access (it may be possible to renew for another free 3 hours, but I didn't need it), quality toiletries, an iron and ironing board (useful if you have a meeting or wedding to attend), and coffee and tea service are complementary. The included breakfast for two has hot dishes, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal (oatmeal please!), pastries and beverages and the service was fantastic. A very nice waiter even brought gluten-free muffins for my gluten-intolerant husband. The only serious suggestion I have for the management is to install shower curtains - even though it might spoil the stylish-look of the shower itself. The shower head is wonderful (I love the rainshower feel), but the water gets on the bathroom floor and may cause damage to the very nice bathrooms. We will definitely stay at this hotel again during our next visit to Sydney.

What a great place”
Our stay at this hotel was exceptional to say the least. I have read a couple of other reviews about this hotel and can only say they were wrong in every respect. Sure the place was a little aged but aged well. Clean comfortable and the best location in Sydney. Close to everything in the city and surrounds and just a stroll through the city streets to the Sydney Tower and Darling Harbour. From Darling Harbour a boat ride to Taronga Zoo, Opera house Circular Quay with close ups of Sydney Harbour Bridge. Just an amazing city and we are very happy we stayed at this hotel. A special thanks to all of the staff for their friendliness and being so helpful to strangers to this city. Wont stay anywhere else.

Lovely hotel with best location”
We chose this hotel because of its central location and it was within walking distance to Chinatown. Rendezvous Studio Hotel Sydney Central provided us with very good service, from the time we had breakfast until our return from tourist attraction. Cleanliness and condition of the hotel were of high regards. If we're going to visit Sydney again, this would be our pick of hotel.

Great location ”
The hotel's location is great, just about 5 min walk from the Central Station. We took Taxi from Sydney Airport and cost about AUD50-00. The front staff is very helpful and friendly. The room is clean and the space is quite satisfy, the bed is very comfortable. The room air-conditional is not really working well and sometime we feel quite stuffy in the room. Overall we feel happy and satisfy stay in Rendezvous Hotel.

Great location & modern fit-out.”
This was a great base for a weekend in Sydney that included a lot of time in the CBD and an easy trip out to a major concert at Homebush. It's across the road from Central train station and so an easy link to the airport or the coach terminal if you prefer to avoid expensive taxis during your stay. Modern, funky decor. Rooms were clean and well presented. Front desk staff were knowledgage about local attractions and walking directions to get there. The parking was a little pricey for guests with no discount or special rate offered for validating on checkout but that's Sydney I guess...

A nice stay”
The Rendezvous Hotel Sydney was very close to the Central train station, making it easy to get to and from various places. The staff were cheerful, relaxed and accommodating and were kind enough to answer all enquiries on regards to the hotel. The bedding and lighting were soft and nice and bathroom spotless. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Value for Money Hotel”
We (family with 2 children and 2 parents) got early check-in when we arrived at sydney in the morning without additional charge. Therefore, we could take a bath and got some our own breakfast before we did the trip. We could have connecting-door rooms as requested that made us access both rooms easily secifically for our children. The hotel is very clean, the staffs are very friendly, and the location is very great just opposite central station that made us easy to access any kind of transportation during our stay including train, free 555 bus, and other buses using single Opal card. There are many halal restaurants located near walking-distance from the hotels. The price of the hotels are not expensive with their great location and many other benefits. We recommend this hotel for every family to have amazing trip during in Sydney. Thanks Agoda and Rendezvous Hotel. Surely, I will stay at this hotel again for my next trip to Sydney. ☺😊

Ideal location, price and good sized rooms”
Stayed overnight for a night out in Sydney and was pleasantly surprised with the size of the room, a king sized bed yet enough room to easily move around. We were on the seventh floor overlooking the main intersection of George and Quay Sts however there was very little street noise in the room. The Rendezvous is ideally located near Central Railway Station, a short walk to the Haymarket, China Town and Darling Harbour. There are numerous good quality cheap restaurants and eateries all around. The hotel has fee (paid) parking which is not expensive when compared to other hotels within the Sydney CBD or parking stations in the area. Our only criticism is the television reception which kept dropping in and out.

Great Location, Spacious Room and Decent Breakfast”
The location of Rendezvous Hotel Sydney Central is superb, right across Central Station, where you can catch a train to Katoomba (for Blue Mountain), light rail to Sydney Fish Market / Darling Harbour and free city shuttle bus route 555 from Railway Square to Circular Quay etc. Tips : Do not follow the exit to Railway Square and look for exit no. 2 to Pitt Street. The walk through underground tunnel to Railway Square takes a very long time. Free breakfast was decent with fruits, pancakes, toast, cereals bason, baked beans and sausages, though the menu was the same for all 3 days. The Deluxe Room King is very spacious. Free Wifi is slow but it's still a plus as most hotels in Sydney do not provide free Wifi.

Marque Hotel, Sydney”
Located on the edge of Chinatown in the Sydney CBD, this hotel is well located for restaurants, nitelife and transport. Only thing missing is a substantial bar and restaurant (there is a small one with restricted hours). However there are pubs and other hotels nearby that suffice: e.g. Medina and Mercure. I used this hotel as accommodating for a conference at the Sydney Conventiaon Centre and it worked very well, far cheaper than other delegates were paying.

Staying at the Marque Hotel Sydney is so easy ”
When possibe my husband and I prefer to choose the Marque Hotel Sydney due to its location and the confidence of knowing our stay will without any hassels or problems. With both overnight visits to Sydney for pleasure and our business needs in Sydney the Marque has been a property we have used over a period of more than twenty years . It is a priority to us in these current times when considering Sydney accommodation to benefit from the great rates offered from Agoda

Great hotel, good service and position”
Sydney is an expensive city for Brits! We got a great deal at this hotel including breakfast. Mini bar good value for a hotel. Very close to central station so easy access for trains, and buses stop outside door. 2 mins walk to Paddy;s Market, 5 mins China Town, 15 mins Darling harbour. Arrived 8.30am from cruise ship and our room was ready! Staff very helpful - all in all we were very pleased with our stay and would recommend to anyone. Roof top swimming pool is smallish but good after a heavy site-seeing day. Buy wine from the "bottle shop" opposite and sit on the roof terrace for an evening drink with a view over roof tops. Probably more couples and business than family orientated.

Great Location and Value for Money”
I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in January 2013. The good thing about this hotel is its location. Just a few walk to Central Station and you are linked directly to the airport. There is also a free shuttle service - bus 555 that goes in one loop through the CBD area. So going aroung is convenient and easy. There are also nice food places near this hotel. As I am an Asian, I love going to Padys Market and eat at their food court. There are also nice Thai restaurants just accross the hotel. On the next block, there is a hotel that offers $10 steak in their restaurant. Hyde Park is also just a few walks away. And further down, you can visit the Botanic Gardens which leads you to the Opera House - all by foot. I will agree to the other reviews about the noise level in this hotel. I find it to be lacking in soundproofing as you can hear the traffic noise below. There are also occasional sound of ambulance sirens. The hotel staff are also approachable and always willing to help. One thing about their wifi is that it resets every three hours and you need to log-in again. At one time, it asked for a new password which was immediately given to me after a call at the reception. I will stay at this hotel again if given another chance to visit Sydney.

Marque Hotel, Sydney”
My mum and I stayed at the marque Hotel in Sydney in March and it was the perfect place to stay while showing her the sights (i live in australia now) the accomodation was clean ans comfortable and i don't think we could have asked for more. We took a deal through agoda which included breakfast which was great as i'm pregnant and saved a fortune on breakfast each day, the deal with agoda turned out to be cheaper than any other deal inc. any through the hotel so i was really happy with what we paid, we didn't use the pool on the roof as there was a large school party and it might have been a bit crowded but i had a look and it looked nice.

Great room, excellent location, no free parking”
The room is great, comfortable, clean, huge, almost luxurious at a great value. The hotel's centrally located in Sydney along George St, hence easy access to main attractions - Darling Harbour, Opera House, Harbour Bridge, shopping centres along George St. The hotel is also right opposite Central Station therefore providing you easy access to any public transport (buses, trains) to get anywhere. Only disadvantage is they don't provide free parking for guests. We came to this hotel after a roadtrip around NSW and thought to park our car in the hotel's parking space as we can just walk around the Sydney city. We usually get one free parking spot at the hotel as guests, so we expected the same here. But the parking here costs AUD35 per night, regardless if you're a guest or not. Other than that, it's great for a comforting stay after a tiring walk along the streets of Sydney.

Great central location, clean, inviting”
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sydney. Great location, close to all public transportation. Recently remodeled, the rooms are very clean, the hotel has a new and contemporary feel to it, it is young hip and fresh. Great breakfast, I had it included in my room rate. If you are looking for the large hotel amenities, this place isn't for you. If you are looking for a nice, clean, hip fresh hotel in a great location without the need for hotel amenities - you have found what you are looking for - trust me, I know how hard it is to make a decision based on website images.
