"We've stayed here before and are happy with the value. They have a large landscaped area and a big pool. The individual cabins are nicer than the hotel rooms (so maybe the cabins could be 4-star in Asia, but the hotel rooms are certainly 3-star level). Breakfast is good, but simple. The staff are nice and helpful, but their English is limited."

"Great atmosphere. Sense of calm. Everything was perfect. The service, from check-in to check-out was superb. All staff, from the manager to the housekeeper and the gardener were friendly, attentive, helpful and genuine. It’s a very small property and really feels like a home. Room was clean and comfortable. The food was amazing for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was a choice of Big Breakfast (scrambled eggs, toast, croissant, sausage, waffle and bacon) or rice porridge with pork or prawns - all options are good! The hotel is located right next to one of Chiang Saen’s ancient ruins. It’s the perfect location and just a great place to be. The only downside was that eventually we had to leave. "

"If you visit Chiang Saen, I really recommend you stay here! What a lovely decent place with unbelievably budget price! My husband and I loved here and tried to stay few days more, so pity that all room booked full. You can enjoy really beautiful Mekong river view from the terrace in your room. The swimming pool is in good condition we spent a lot of time at the pool. However you may feel that the room's got a bit old, but thinking of the budget price you would be satisfied. There's a little private dock so you can walk near to the river, that's another romantic thing. If they improve a few aspects, it will be the best place: more choice for breakfast, better wifi service in the room. Overall terrific place and we will definitely come back again:-) "

"I absolutely loved the tented camp.The guests ranged from Older couples to a well behaved swiss family of 6 and several honeymooning couples.Everyone was blown away by the elephants the food the spa and the best Thai hospitality you will ever experience.I cant wait to get back.My partner forgot her contact lenses,two hours later there were some in our room,forgot the battery charger for a two day old fuji film camera (they had one) and on and on it goes.The staff ratio during our stay was 1 guest 8 staff so you are very very well looked after.It is expensive but everything is included,mini bar one spa treatment per person,tours, clothes and shoes for mahout training etc etc.I am scheming how to get back there."

A fridge & free bottles of water are also waiting in your room. Free breakfast & bicycles are a part of this great & recommendable stay !"
