Excellent location. Just one block from the Yokohama station. But the north west exit isn’t easy to find. Clean and spacious room which is bigger than most of the hotels in Japan. Friendly and helpful staff. Lent us umbrellas on rainy days.

Typhoon Faxai - last minute booking”

We were unfortunately caught in the Typhoon Faxai havoc where we can't get to the airport to catch our flight. Luckily enough we managed to find Richmond Hotel which is very centrally located. It's really a stone throw away from the Yokohama Station, malls and restaurants. Great hotel, value for money and excellent location. Will definately be back.

Almost a stone’s throw from Shopping Malls eg Takashimaya, Soto, More’s. Electronic store Yodobashi also a 5 minute walk away. Every corner a good ramen joint for a quick meal. And so many good food outlets for tonkatsu, sashimi and sushi, grilled fish, sukiyaki and shabu shabu. Can eat cheap and can eat expensive choices.

Richmond hotel yokohama ekimae”

It is not easy to navigate Yokahame Station and the hotel is not shown like other hotels or department stores in station directory map. Plus It is hard to tell which is East or West direction. You might question the signs like I did. (Sometime the station nearby maps are oriented in different direction than the direction you may see in google map.)
