Paradise on Earth”
Words cannot express Robinson Maldives. Just experience it for yourself. The picture perfect postcard at every corner of the island, the wonderful staff, the accommodations and the food were all amazing. We are from Chicago and it was so worth the long distance to get there. The reef was your own personal aquarium. We saw everything we could have imagined. Thanks to Sameen and the rest of the staff for a perfect vacation.

Splendid views, comfortable all-inclusive stay”
Visited Robinson Club Maldives for honeymoon vacation. Staff were very helpful in ensuring the room was nicely done up, and it was a hassle-free experience from being picked up at the international airport all the way back. The resort is quite a distance from the international airport, and airport transfer is not included in the room reservation. Wait times between the transport types might also be awhile so be prepared to self-entertain. However, once at Robinson Club Maldives, the amazing view is breathtaking. All-inclusive makes one not need to worry about food. And lastly, there’s snorkeling gear to borrow for the duration of your stay to swim around the resort and be surrounded by the beautiful sea creatures. An absolutely amazing experience altogether.

We need to take 3.5-4 hours to reach the island when we arrive to Male (2H wait for the flight, 1H domestic flight, half hour speed boat) However everything is perfect in the island! We spend nice time there.

Worn-out Water Villas; Certainly not good choice for your dream Maldives vacation”
I have been to Maldives several times, and must say this resort is a real disappointment. The excitement of having to take a 50 min domestic flight (not seaplane) followed by 25 min speed boat ride was quickly overcome with disappointment on the resort. All the bungalows and water villas look aged and old fashion, and need urgent revamp. This means the skyline is scarred by ugly looking water villas. The interior of the water villa was even disappointing. Excitement of a dream trip turned into disappointment then into dismay and regret. The first question that came to mind was: did I spend all these money to come to this kind of old fashioned, dated resort? I chose this resort also based on house reef comments. Well, that was another utter disappointment. More than 90% of the house reef are dead or bleached. There are lots of fishes around, swimming around dead hard corals. On the brighter side, service is good, and food is excellent. But verdict is that we will never come back here.

Best value for money and food quality”
Staying in the Club for honeymoon and stayed in a Lagoon Villa (got a free upgrade for the first 5 nights, thanks) for 10 nights. Already the second time in Robinson Club and the Club still maintained its high quality of service and "all-inclusive" buffets. Stayed in other Maldives hotels of higher class brands but all of them could not match with the value that Robinson could provide to you. Excellent house reef and you can have one of the best snokeling experience in Maldives. All staff are very friendly and you are seeing smile always on their face. Though the villa is not having luxurious decoration, but everything in the room is neat and tidy, and up to 5-star standard in my view. Especially love the big window on the floor that My wife and I can look at different types of fishes that swim under my villa, especially at night. My wife and I also enjoyed the fabulous sunset view in the balcony of my villa. It was the first time my wife visiting Maldives and having snokeling and Robionson made her requested coming back to Maldives Robinson every year. Overall, excellent 5-star quality although they only claimed as a 4-star hotel.

Picture Perfect”
Everything about our stay at Robinson Club Maldives was picture perfect. The staff and the food were by far the best parts of the resort. Every single meal had incredible variety and everything was fresh and delicious. We tried kangaroo, wildebeest, quail, countless fresh fish, Maldivian dishes, soups, salads, desserts galore, etc. We were never disappointed when it came to meals. We stayed in water bungalow and could not have been happier. The floor was glass so we could see stingrays, sharks, and needlefish swimming by. The bungalow decks are completely private and have great sunset views. I heard from other guests that the beach villas were also incredible, with sunrise views and some of the best snorkeling was just a few meters away. This is the perfect spot to visit if you are a couple, or a family with adult children. Very tranquil and romantic atmosphere, but also plenty of activities for families to enjoy together and easy to meet new friends.

We had a very wonderful vacation in Robinson Club Maldives. The house reef around the island was ter rific. We experienced our first swim with two turtles at the same time, which was really amazing. The food was very delicious and the service they provided was thoughtful and helpful. The memory of staying in Robinson will last forever with us. We really appreciate everything and we will definitely come back in the future.

fantastic and worth coming back again”
We had a wonderful time during our stay at Robinson club. The only minor thing that needs improvement is provide more comfortable pillows. We read on the trip advisor before leaving for Maldives that someone mentioned about the wafer thin & too soft pillow and how they end up with neck pain etc. , so we decided to bring our own pillows. May be management should look into it and provide more standard pillows in the room and at least 2 pillows per person.

Beautiful lagoon villa”
Robinson club is beautiful and the lagoon villa is great. It is extremely convenient to go downstairs and snorkel. It is also rare among Maldives resorts to include full board in the price, although the food is average and you have to fend the flies off. We do have issues with the transfer though. When we booked through Agoda, we were not certain of our exact schedule in arrival and departure so didn't put those in. In the confirmation email there is an instruction to place "special request" to notify to the hotel of our travel plans, except the function does not work and I rang customer service twice without getting anywhere except to book with Robinson directly. Robinson club assured us that the transfer will be confirmed the day prior to our arrival, but when we landed at Male at 10pm the night before our check-in date, I had not receive any email confirmation. The local airport hotel we stayed at overnight had to ring to confirm it for us. With the above in mind, upon our arrival at Robinson club, we immediately informed the reception manager that we would like to leave in the early afternoon on departure day (Hanging around the main bar area for hours after 12pm check out didn’t really appeal to us so I booked the same airport hotel to stay prior to an 11pm flight). He assured us that this can be arranged. The evening before check-out, we asked about the transfer flight and were told it’s at 7pm. Naturally we were not happy about it but what made it worse were 1) he is not at all apologetic and not offering any solution initially 2) he said we didn't tell him about wanting to leave on an early afternoon flight, which is essentially accusing us of lying 3) The flights are booked 3 days in advance and can’t be changed (?!), completely contrary to our experience prior to arrival. To his credit, he was able to get us on a late morning flight the next day at the end but it was certainly a blemish on the whole experience.

Great experience, very comfortable stay”
it tooks an hour domestic flight from male to the ** atoll and another 25 minutes speedboat to the island. it is located in the southern part of maldives, rather close to the equator, yet not very hot in late january this year. less than 10 meters to get to the house reef from the beach. corals are so great. we saw nemo, turtle, manta ray, sharks several times. great management with german manager. staff were friendly and professional. food was great, with pretty much varieties. agos were helpful and speaks german, english, chinese, japanese, etc. a place to return to.

Plannig to return already!”
Robinson Club has a spectacular coral reef, where you can see reef sharks at the arrival jetty and run into a few turtles -- not to mention all the other hundreds of species of fish. Staff always had a smile on their face and was always willing to help and cater to our needs like making pasta especially for us. We felt so pampered! We usually hate buffets, but the quality of the food in the buffet was so delicious that we looked forward to it every day, and we've gone to a lot of fancy restaurants in our travels. We were lucky enough to stay in the water villa which was a real treat and once-in-a-lifetime experience to see a manta ray and sharks underneath our villa. On the other hand, if you're on a budget, the garden villa is real value considering it comes with breakfast/lunch/dinner. Transfer wasn't that bad, especially if you check Maldivian Airlines for flight times. We thought waiting the extra couple of hours for transfer was well worth it in order to get to Robinson Club. The staff's friendliness and doing their best to make you happy really makes the place. The clientele is mostly German, but we always felt at home and welcome

Heaven on earth”
If there is heaven on earth it is here. Long journey but well worth it. On arriving at Male we were very well looked after and spent a short time in a executive air conditioned lounge, then onto a domestic flight, and then a speed boat to the Robinson club island. Beach is perfect. Food fabulous all staff friendly attentive and nothing too much trouble. Rooms are nice and big. Free internet almost everywhere in the island. 2 times a day room cleaning. On the morning of our departure we were given a great send off by the management team who waved us good bye at the end of the jetty.

The Right Choice”
it was our 2nd visit to maldives and if we ever come back we will visit again robinson. everything was absolutely perfect !! amazing food, service, wonderful room ( garden villa is perfect, 10 m from beach). the reef is also very alive and snorkeling is just great ! all the staff, including the girls in the spa were just perfect. don't doubt, stop checking other places...
