Great place, highly recommended”
Perfect place for a couple and/or small family. Close to public transportation. Convenience stores, Aquarium, some local eateries/shops within walking distance, (10-15 minute walk) to Kyoto station. Check-in/check out was very easy and staff was very helpful with any questions. Small, hipster coffee shop right next door was nice (w/discounts for Apt guests) We did take a taxi from Kyoto station on arrival (to get our bearings) and also when we were heading back to States (too much luggage!), other than that we took the bus, pretty easy system, nice way to see the city, cheap and everyone was helpful if we had any questions if we were unsure of where/how to go. We especially liked the little local places right near the hotel that we discovered. One was a tiny noodle counter, out the door to the left (if u blinked u missed it) and then the other was out to the right and around the corner, a family owned/run little store w/restaurant next door. Highly recommend staying here!

Loved this place!”
Clean, spacious bedroom area. Shower, Vanity, and toilet area was expectantly small. We didn't really use the kitchen except for the fridge. Having a washer was great. Nice, quiet area. Across the street is a 7-11. The walk to Kyoto Station and shops is about 15 minutes. On our first day, from Kyoto Station, we used our JR Pass to get to Umekoji-Kyotonishi Station (just 1 stop), then it's a 6 minute walk to the hostel. Great when you have luggage. A bus also stops right in front of the hotel so we got our subway/bus passes for Kyoto later. We would come here again.

Exceptional”
Staying here was a very pleasant surprise. For it’s price, it’s quite a steal. It has everything you need - from a spacious bedroom to kitchen, laundry, to shower & bath tub. If you are staying in KYoto, I absolutely recommend this place. Though it’s about 5-8mins from the nearest station, there’s a bus stop across the street. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Great value and a quiet little spot”
The price and location were a GREAT VALUE! We stayed four nights and by night 2 we knew how to find the park, aquarium, the mall, and the train station. All were in walking distance. Great for our small family :) Space can be a little tight but, that is to be expected. We had 4 large bags and were able to set up our room in a tidy way in which we had access to our suitcases. The staff was very friendly

This is really a value for money! The best I had in Japan compared to the accommodations I stayed in Fukuoka, Tokyo and Osaka. I just wished I have stayed here longer. Next time Im back in Japan I will definitely stay here! Good location, very good ambiance and affordable! Its almost like you got a small apartment for yourself! I loved it!

Clean apartment room with 2 beds”
We like the hotel cleanliness, and also for the private kitchen. We brought our kids, so sometimes it is better if we can cook our own food. We also like the friendliness of the hotel front staff.

It was great to have a washing machine and personal aircon in the room. Clothes could be dried in the bathroom. Bit dark but didn’t bother us at all. Tidy and clean. Highly recommended hostel, had a private room.

This hostel is super clean and cheap. I don't know why it's called a hostel because I actually had my own room with bathroom and kitchen! I'd highly recommend staying here!!

Best Place to stay for Kyoto”
One 2 minute train stop from Kyoto... go to new train station Umekoji-Kyotonishi then 500m walk to accommodation. 7/11 across the road. Easy access to all attractions. Big room with stove...microwave...washing machine etc. Strongly recommended this accommodation

it's really nice home at strategic location. check in was efficient, all facilities provided worked well and all symbol and instruction had an english translation. the great thing is they let me to use their travel adapter since i didn't bring the right one

The hotel is like an apartment equipped with all the things a traveller would need. It has a washing machine, kitchen, own cr and shower, a drier for wet clothes and shoes incase it will rain. It is very spacious as well. You can open 4 luggages at the same time. Would definitely gooo back.

Beautiful room with 3 futons”
I love the feeling of lying the futon but not cold. The room is large enough for up to 3 futons and a small tea table set. My favorite thing is the bath room can become the drying room, so convenient for tourists.

Clean and spacious apartment - great value of money”
It's great value of money! The apartment is clean and spacious. There's a washing machine and cloth drying heater in the bathroom. The staff is very kind and even helping me to make a reservation for a popular restaurant! There was a big problem of check-in. The front desk opens from 09:00 to 18:00. The apartment gave me self check-in instruction because I will checked-in after 18:00. When I checked-in at 22:00, I was shocked that my room key in mailbox was taken by somebody else (passcode of the locker is so easy to guess)! I messaged the staff via Agoda App and didn't expect them to reply because they were supposed to be off. I had no choices but to take the key of the room next to mine (again, simply guess its passcode). One hour later, Apartment replied me via Agoda App and we settled to stay in my "new" room. I will definitely stay again (will guess them to change the passcode of the mailbox).

Nice and clean place with all facilities you need”
Take 15 minutes walk from Kyoto station or you can take a bus make 3-4 stops from Kyoto station (only 230 yen). Other attractions such as Gion, Kiyomizu are easy to approach by bus. There’s a large park around the hostel, good for running in the morning. Also 7/11 is across the street.
