I'd Stay Again”
I was in NY on business. The location was perfect for me - less than a mile from my destination so I could easily walk to and from the house (yes, even in February)! The owner was SUPER helpful when I arrived - gave me lots of tips about the area and instantly made me feel at home. The bed was very comfortable. The wifi was sometimes spotty and it was a little challenging to control the water temp in the shower - but neither of those things were a deal breaker by any means. Nice neighborhood and close to public transportation stops. I will definitely stay again whenever I find myself needing to be back in the area. Thank you, Kellyn, for providing a nice "home-away-from-home" for those who are looking for a unique lodging experience.

Visit to New York in January ”
This place was great. Very much as advertised. Good location; clean; comfortable and spacious rooms, comfortable bed. Although lots of reviewers referred to the host and a local tour of the area. That wasn’t my experience. The hostess was very polite, but I only met her once, and wasn’t offered a tour. I did try to make contact a few times, once by email and a few times by standing in the lobby and ringing the little bell, but no one appeared. I was a little concerned about dropping off my keys when I checked out as there was a “lock box” but it wasn’t locked. Hopefully my keys arrived safely. I would definitely recommend this place. Good value for money in New York.
