Very good service at the front desk”

I had booked two rooms online for myself in one and my elderly mom in the other. I had requested them to be next to each other, but apparently had not mentioned I needed connecting rooms. So when we arrived they told us they were not connecting. My mom cannot be in the room by herself because if she falls I wont be able to hear her. They told us they were full and there were no other connecting rooms available. So after about an hour of the front desk researching their room availability, they decided to upgrade us to a two bedroom suite at no extra cost!! That was so nice and the rooms were gorgeous! We really appreciated it!

Good location but it’s showing wear and tear ”

I stayed in hotel 3 years ago and loved it. This time around the hotel feels a lot older. It a busy hotel so I guess it’s just all the wear and tear that naturally comes with it. I guess they could have done a better job vacuuming the room and some of the common area to make the hotel looks a little nicer. This hotel has one of those annoying fridge that you basically can’t use it at all so if you need s fridge this is not a place for you. Nonetheless I will still stay here in the future because of it’s location.

Wonderful location for a quick trip to NYC. Hotel was immaculate, the staff was very professional and friendly, and the bed was very comfortable. Didn't use the hotel restaurant but will when I return in the future.

Maybe a little bit away from the epicenter but easy walk to the park and to all the variety of Epper East Side life.

Perfection”

If you want a New York high-end hotel near Central Park that is quiet, exclusive and has great beds. This is it. Some rooms low floors on Park avenue can be noisy if you want to sleep late. I like the back facing rooms with no view, because they are dark and super comfortable and renovated. The beds are great.

Little gem steps away from all the craziness ”

I stayed here mainly because I want to avoid the hotels that are right in the touristy area (ie think times sq) this hotel is easily accessible to different train and going to downtown is pretty easy. Walking to various locations are also very doable and if you walk two more blocks east you do get a true taste of what upper east side has to offer. Room is also newly renovated and I love the clean bathroom that is rather uncommon in other NY hotel. It doesn't seem to me this hotel is pet friendly. It was a problem for me because it seems like someone just took their dog to the city and left it in the hotel room but luckily I could change to another one otherwise I won't be able to rest well. Bed, pillows, and other amenity are quite standardized. Overall I have a great stay there

Simply perfect upper east side ”

Love this hotel, location on park ave, movie stars and people watching but still quiet and exclusive. Upper east side where you can walk to everything, great rooms, staff and not too big
