Great pool for young children.”

This hotel is pretty nice with friendly staff and a free breakfast. The best feature for us was the pool with its kiddie sections. We were traveling with a two-year old and she loved the kiddie pool with the slide. There were other children there so it was a great time for her as she is not often around children her own age. Highly recommend it for families with young children.

Shower curtain moldy and looked dirty. Should be replace. Internet wifi didn't work. Room was spacious with queen size bed. Food was good except for the "free breakfast" which was very disappointing. Swimming pool was nice and clean.

Most needs met”

I needed easy parking and easy access to the mountains. So for me location was ok. A dated and well used room, but big enough for me and luggage. Front facing views were pleasant and the restaurant food was easy and cheap. Overall happy enough.

The double room on 3rd floor was quite ok. The live music in the Sky 7 pub (7th floor) goes on until midnight so getting a lower floor room might help you get to sleep if you like an early night! The location is good in that the Hotel is easy to find, and the 7th floor views in the pub are glorious! The food looked ok, but the hot cappucino I got in the downstairs restaurant was probably the worst I've ever had anywhere! It came with an extra sachet of whitener and no trace of crema... That's never a good sign! :-) The restaurant itself does not inspire confidence... ancient table clothes were dirty at the table I sat down at. Given the deplorable coffee situation, I decided to skip the complementary breakfast, and left at 6:30am to eat elsewhere on the way to Tak city.

The reception & restaurant staff were brilliant, but nobody seems to have considered giving anything a quick wipe over while not doing anything else? Swimming pool is rented out to a third party allegedly providing swimming lessons for kids, trainers & lifeguards (VERY loose usage of both terms) all way too busy chatting each other up though & with amount of noise combined with total lack of supervision / care it's a good ob parents all there keeping an eye on their own progeny! I could waffle on about no thought given to hotel guests possibly wishing to use the pool & unable to...but wasn't a problem in our case. I WILL say that after seeing unsanitary standards overall...dreaded to think what state the kitchens might be in so went out for dinner to be on the safe side!! This isn't a staff issue, it's a management problem. Obviously the GM couldn't care less...and it shows

Pros: A must-go Walking street in the walking distance on Saturday night, adequate breakfast - you get what you pay (Fried rice, egg, low quality sausages, porridge, clear soup, coffee, low quality bread and jam) Cons: Do not expect any 5 stars services here but, I don't mind

Did not feel welcome ”

Nobody came to offer help with our luggage when we arrived. The staff never smiled or said good morning. They just seemed to do what they had to do without the usual pleasantries you would expect in Thailand. However the evening meal in the restaurant was very good which was accompanied with live music. The rooftop bar also had live music and the service was very good.

Worst breakfast ever !”

Satisfactory for overnight stay.....but breakfast appalling. I was shown a tatty menu with"American Breakfast" on it (seemed only option). Within 20 seconds a plate a fried eggs, sausage, ham etc was placed in front of me - it was stone cold and obviously it had been cooked a while earlier. When I declined to touch it they took it away and heated it up - which made it worse ! Apart from that - which one can joke about - a satisfactory stay.

Old and not very clean”

After booking I read the reviews and felt I made a very bad choice but could not change the booking. We arrived expecting the worst. The hotel looks pretty old and run down. Fortunately the room was big with a king bed, with clean sheets. The toilet was clean too, the room could have been cleaner. We enjoyed a couple of beers on the rooftop bar and it was very nice. The breakfast was pretty poor and the breakfast table could have used a change of tablecloths. We did not use the pool but it looked unclean from our window. The hotel is pretty close to the Saturday walking street which was instead a really nice surprise and we enjoyed it a lot.

Must have been a great hotel in its time.... but those days have definitely moved on. Extremely tired..... a small step up from a budget hotel.Pool very dirty!! Saving grace was the 7th floor bar...... good food,nice staff and some easy going live music.For that reason I would use again when travelling the area.

A/c ok. access was easy to hotel. Without enough staff saw a small child helping with cleaning. Seems swimming pool was used by outsiders for learning swimming. Totally a waste of stay which spoiled our trip spirit. Wonder why Agoda did not enquire and allowed high price which should be less than 1/5 th of the price.

Not sure why this large hotel is required here other than for apparent money laundering. It's very old, run down and dirty. Location next too noisy nice clubs/bars. Definitely not recommended.
