Good choice for a budget stay”
Very clean and relatively new building, good location not far from the market and street food places, friendly and helpful staff, good value for money (but don't forget that Agoda has the naughty habit of indicating prices without taxes!) The only downside might be the absence of a breakfast option and the hot showers that are mere luke warm. I definitely recommend this place, even for a longer sojourn.

Staying in transit”
I stayed for one night, just like last time, during my transit between Koh Chang and Bangkok. The hostel is situated near a busy street, and is walking distance to many restaurants, street food stalls, (a) pharmacy, (a) convenient store, and fruit shops. It's a bit tucked away in one of the small alleys, so it's quiet at night. Beware of dogs in the early morning when the streets are quiet. Staff are friendly; speak slowly and clearly when you communicate with them in English. Remember to smile :)

Quiet clean location next to food stalls - excellent value”
if you are looking for place to sleep with best value in town you should choose a "AC-room" in this simple guesthouse.. Rooms are spacious, super clean and all have balcony. Reception lady is nice and friendly - you'll get free Nescafe and cookies in the morning, 4 places free parking in front of the house. Faciliites itself are bit worn and very simple: nothing fency, nofrills like Ryanair. no lift! Definetly recommended for 1 -2 nights!

This place is an excellent choice for staying shorter time. The street food is amazing just around the corner. Skip eating in restaurants and do not miss out the lady with the sausages located at the first stand on the right hand side of the street. Completely stunned by the quality of those that could conquer any sausage in a guide Michelin restaurant, don’t mind the price it’s worth it bath 20. A sleepy town with a nice atmosphere that gets ready for the next leg of your journey. The hotel is perfectly located without any disturbances of traffic or anything else.

Nice place to stay”
We would stay at Nalin place again. Very quiet, clean and close to everything. If you are going for a visa run to the andaman club you can catch a green song thaw at the market. Very easy and cheap.

Friendly staff, clean rooms but veeery hot with no aircon/fan! Would be god idea to add mosquito nets on doors/windows of balcony, so they could be kept open by night. Good place to stay on the way to the islands.

WiFi was terrible! TV channels were all in Thai! Drainage in the shower is clogged! So when showering, you need to give the water enough time to clear! Also front desk was inflexible in terms of pick up timing to send us to the airport when we were paying for a private transfer. However room was clean and reasonably priced.

It's okay. ”
Good location. Near to the bus station and have a lot of shops outside. Have local restaurant around and 7/11 nearby and a market. The TV in the room doesn't work and the bed was a very hard like a stone but for 1 night was okay.

Room facilities were ok. 3 light globes were out and needed replacing. Had to constantly request for resetting of WiFi as continually dropped out overnight. No AC fan only room a bit overpriced

Expected a little more”
Whilst overall, the accommodation was satisfactory, there were some disappointments. 3 light globes in the room were out and not replaced. The WiFi was constantly dropping out and several requests to reset and fix were made in 3 days. Staff at the counter were more obsessed with their make-up and appearance than providing good customer service. The price for a fan only (no AC) room was a bit high.
