Right in town centre close to bars etc, very clean and comfortable rooms, i would stay here again.

New and clean hotel central of city”

This is my second time stay at Phaiboonplace Hotel. It was comfortable. Location is good, central of the city. This hotel is new and clean. Opposite the hotel is the famous congee and coffee for breakfast.

Big rooms, convenient location”

No-frills hotel but gives what you need at a very sensible price. My room was large and clean, the bus station is a short walk away ; no breakfeast but you can make your own coffee downstairs. Will go back again as Kalasin people are beautiful and very welcoming.

Good quality budget accomo in central location”

Positives: ample, safe car parking, helpful staff (limited English, but this is eastern Thailand). Adequate-sized room with quite comfortable bed. Clean bathroom. Western bar 200 meters down the road. Negatives: no breakfast option (but bringing your own is OK). On the cooler winter nights, shower is, at best, only slightly warm in the morning. Overall, for about 600 baht a night, this is very good value-for-money

Pros: near bus station. Ample car parking, with night watchman. 300 metres from Kalasin's only real westerner bar. Rooms are basic, but clean and spacious, with good aircon. Beds are quite comfortable, specially by Thai standards. Room has a goos size fridge. Cons: no coffee or tea making facilities in the room, but these are available at breakfast time, next to reception. No restaurant for breakfast.

Very good: car park with night watchman. Central for bus station, western bar. Good: efficient reception (a little English spoken, easy check-in). 300m to 7-Eleven. Clean room with enough space. Fairly comfortable bed, good fridge. Good aircon (functioned properly on a cool night). Lifts/elevators worked well. Clean bathroom, but not the best design to separate shower space from toilet space. Very good value for money. Will stay again when I'm in Kalasin.

songkran 2015 @ Paiboon ”

This review is for rooms in the newer 5 story part of the hotel. You should ask for a room in this part of the hotel, not the older 2 story buildings on the property. I have stayed 3 times in the hotel with my wife. It is clean and conveniently located in the City Center. There is enough off street car parking even when the hotel is busy. It is well lit and safe if you arrive late. It is a good value.

Well, I did not come for a "luxury Hotel" - just something adequate which was the case. No food service, no real coffee and hot water was minimally warm. But clean room and I'm sure by Thai standards, this hotel might be impressive for Thais

Kalasin as a city don't offer much other than a large food court with very good food. The hotel was nice, very clean, quiet with attentive staff. But it is not easy to find, so read the map here very carefully or ask the locals when close to the hotel. They do not have restaurant or breakfast. But there's a lot of very nice local restaurants in the neighborhood. I can recommend this hotel and will stay there on my next trip to Kalasin.

Best hotel in Thailand”

We LOVED this hotel. During our 5 week trip we travelled to a lot of different cities and stayed in a lot of hotels, and this was by far our favorite. It's a newer hotel and they keep everything very clean. The bathroom was large and had a very nice shower.

Basic for a three star”

This is a new hotel, so everything is bright and clean. It seems however they forgot a few things. For example there are not many power points in the room. No little bottle of shampoo etc. Not great deficiencies I must admit, but these are the little things you would expect in a three-star hotel. The staff speak zero English, so you are on your own if you do not speak Thai and need any help. The location is very convenient right in the center of the city, so close walkinbg distance anything you need (and as may be available in Kalasin). There is a coffee shop and breakfast area, but I never saw them in operation. Finally, very good value given the discounted room price.

stayed there for one night. we noticed that our bed had ants all over it (before we used it) so asked for another room, and when we checked the new one... its bed also had ants all over it. so moved to another room without ants on beds, but the next morning, we found ants on the desk, wardrobe, and some on our clothes. ceilings had spider webs, but that wasn't causing any trouble. no shampoo provided. staff were friendly and helpful (not hesitating to change our rooms), and there's free wi-fi. good location, but i might not use them again.

Clean with smiling staff”

i went there with my family. the room was very clean and confortable. staff very helpfull and well organized. i suggest this motel as a good stop for a visit of isan neighboring site and bake in quite and calm of your room. good feeling!

value for money!”

I totally enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Very affordable, it's brand new with fresh coat of white paint and kept very spotlessly clean. Comes with free wifi. The hotel is mostly low frills without room service and cafe; however food is easily available just outside the hotel. Great location and easily accessible to the Kalasin town. Generally the hotel is hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the busier streets, among the quieter and peaceful streets. I would definitely recommend to everyone.
