Hotel in SOHO”

Good location. However, I had allergies the entire stay. Maybe cos the hotel is a bit old and dusty. There is free daily water which you can get from the reception. It’s expensive for its quality but I guess nothing is cheap in Manhattan.

Pleasant stay”

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The official homepage is seriously misleading and reflects what the hotel would like to be and certainly not what it is. The staff are not super welcoming but they do the job. Kitchen and bar non-existent, don't be misled by "breakfast included", the hotel serves no breakfast. Otherwise fantastic location and a hassle free stay.

Our room was not ready for us until 7 pm. One time the towel had dirty stains on it. Wanting to talk to the supervisor twice about this and ask for a call back to follow up but never got any reply back.

Not worth the money paid”

We had 4 big luggages when we arrived and asked hotel staff for help. They brushed us off by saying there is no bell man. There were 2 elevators and 1 was down 3 out of the 4 days we were there and it caused massive delays. Water had to be self collected from the front desk instead of being available in the hotel room itself. The hotel room itself looked very dingy and old and the telephone was so discoloured and looked like something out of the 90s. On the last day,we asked to borrow the hotel lobby phone and the answer given is that the phone doesnt work???i paid $700 USD for such poor service and quality!it was really an absolute waste of money.will never stay here again

I stayed in this hotel for one night then changed to a different hotel in the same chain. Really appreciate the support of the staff specially the manager (I can't remember her name) she is very supportive, nice and cute. The hotel is average, they have good breakfast and free coffee 24/7.

The SoHo Hampton is decent and affordable to stay at if the location is desireable. There aren’t too many other reasonable priced locations. It is a little worn but staff are nice as in the bar.

Amazing value for money”

A pretty decent room and (very) basic breakfast with eggs and meat, plus fruit and carbs in a wonderful part of town for a price that doesn't break the bank. This hotel is terrific given the price tag. Ask for a more spacious room (rooms ending in 03 and 08 seem to be a little bigger?).

The Little Hotel that Could”

For what this hotel charges, they really do try to deliver value. The rooms are actually bigger than many five star hotels that I've stayed in in New York. (That means they are still smallish rooms by global standards, but for the price and location, it's amazing). They also try to deliver a basic breakfast - not just toast and waffles, but ALSO a selection of prepared eggs, breakfast meat, yoghurt, etc. And they have a basic, tiny but functional gym. For the price we paid for this hotel, given it is in New York SOHO, it was truly amazing value. Nice job, Hampton

generally alright. most essential taken care of. quieter at night. only dissatisfaction is that the housekeeper threw away my shoes box which had my cleaning kit in it. i only realised that the next day. the counter staff couldnt help and no apology given. on the good side, the evening counter staff had offered to pass me his empty shoes box.
