Good value near Airport ”

Close around is nothing. I think it's even hard to find a taxi on the street. But I am sure the staff can order one. Room was clean and ok. Only problem was the minibar. Quite a lot of mildew around the seal. Same in parts of the bathroom. Not misunderstand me. It was clean but could be better...

Okay place to stay”

After looking at others reviews, we were surprised at the state of our room. There was hair all over the white duvet/blanket. The bathroom was quite smelly and had ants all over it. The bed was very hard too. We would not stay there again.

GOOD VALUE”

a car is essential if staying here, as nothing is within walking distance and Tuk Tuks are not nearby. However, the hotel is ideal for relaxing and very economical

Good location ”

Room in general is clean but I dropped something on the floor and looked under the bed, cobwebs and dust, did not see any bugs or anything bad, they just need to sweep under the bed. Rooms near the road are noisy because of bar across the street, rooms in back are very quit.

Great value”

Very well looked after. You need a car to enjoy being here, but the value for money and the size of the rooms is exceptional

Best value hotel on this trip”

UD Resort is a bit off the beaten track but handy to the main arterial route from the North, and northern ring road of Udon. It was easy enough for our GPS to find and has plenty of parking. If you have a car and are not fussy about being close to the city center, this is a great option. We had our car so no problem to drive into the city center for restaurants etc. This hotel is GREAT value; I'd go as far as to say extraordinary at the price. Our room was large, clean and fresh, the linen and towels were much better quality than the norm at this price point, and the mattress was really comfy, not the regular hard lump that is tough on a western back. It's in a quiet location so a good nights sleep was assured. Breakfast was included and fine for the price, and the staff were friendly and approachable. Highly recommended.

Difficult to find”

We only got to stay a few hours because we did not arrive until the early morning hours. Our tuktuk took us to UD Residence at first and he was more familiar with that. Neither hotel was aware of the other one. Caused some problems. But we finally got there and checked in after a phone conversation with the manager explaining that we had already paid via Agoda and we knew we would need to check out by 11 am. The location is not convenient for travelers unless you have your own transportation. The hotel and staff are nice. No English skills by the staff hurts a bit too.

Disapointing”

Only stayed for 2 nights and did not want to extend my stay at the Hotel. Room was clean but bathroom was just about allright. The room had a balcony that looked out on waste ground. Went down for breakfast at 7 am, nothing was ready and they had to find staff to prepare breakfast. Wanted to use the stairs as I was only on the first floor, but stairway had cockroaches watching your every move. It was cheap though, so what can you say.

ik had 2 kamers gereserveerd,confirmed door agode, toen we aankwamen werd er gezegt dat ze vol wwaren, toen mijn vrouw zei, geef maar geld treug kijken we wel ergens anders, kregen we 1 kamer en werd er gezegd 2e kamer ,20 min. wachten, koffers boven gebracht, 1 persoon bleef beneden. toen we weer terug waren was ineens ook de tweede kamer beschikbaar.Ik denk dat de kamers te goedkoop waaren en daarom gezegd werd dat het hotel vol was, wat dus niet het geval was.
