Excellent Resort!”
Wapi Resort was at a great location. It is located right along the water and there are good places to go snorkeling near by. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very friendly. Also the breakfast every morning was great. My favorite was the yogurt. It was some of the best yogurt I have had in my life. The owner was very helpful and kind. Upon coming to the island I had very little cash and was without a debit card due to fraudulent charges back in Bali. I asked the owner if he had venmo so we can exchange funds unfortunately he did not, but he pointed me in the right direction and told me about a restaurant(Cafe Tropical) owner that might be able to help me. We were able to exchange funds on paypal and I had a more pleasant stay on Koh Lipe. I must say that I had a very good experience on at Wapi Resort and Koh Lipe. There is an exceptional community of people on Koh Lipe!!!

Awesome Sea View (Sunrise Beach) & Breakfast!”
There's too much things to praise on this resort - Awesome Breakfast! Especially the Muesli with Fruits and Yogurt - Free usage of snorkelling gears & bicycles - Hammock with sea view - Friendly staffs - Clean and comfortable room, very clean n spacious toilet. - 5mins walk away from walking streets and others store - Kayak for rent (100baht/hr) - steel water bottle provided for refilling of water I think the only downside for me who loves snorkelling, you might need to swim a bit in order to see corals as compare to sunset beach where the coral is just meters away. But the rest, A Highly Recommended Place to Stay!

Strongly recommended!”
I spent 3 nights with my partner here and everything about this resort is 10/10. The cleanliness, the breakfast and the service as well as hospitality of the staff. I think because of the COVID situation and small amout of travellers, the resort let us use the kayak and other amenities for free. The location is superb because it is not too isolated as the Sunset beach. The AC works perfectly and water is not salty at all. I am impressed with the staff because they are polite and considerate. Overall, I'd say this resort is more than price worthy.

Simply HOME in Paradise ”
After two nightmare nights in Castaway Resort we Switches over to that comfortable paradise. The owners are the kindest people. The bungalows are huge, comfortable with hot shower and amazing beds. Breakfast was so delicious and eating it right at the beach was a luxury. Mostly I loved the Thai woman who owns this resort with her French husband. She was welcoming, kindhearted and so lovely. Hope to see her again some day and spend a few days back in heaven. You should definitely book here instead of castaway.

BEST PLACE TO STAY IN KOH LIPE!”
Wapi is a peacefull resort with the best location. It's perfect for couples and families. The owner and the staff are one of the most kind people we met! They keep their villas very clean. Breafast is very european with thai kick - we loved it! It's super close to the beach and they give you free snorkling gear, beach towels and free drinking water.

Efficient Location & nice, cold A/C (16°C)”
It is an all around great spot as you are within walking distance to the main blue rubber-turf drag (“walking street”) as well as the sunrise beach. Morning continental breakfast at the resort reception area was very nice. Spotty WiFi connection in the hut, but if you need high speed for an important call or especially video calls, go to the reception and use their WiFi, or if you are a coffee nut like myself, head down to Bloom Bar and tap in to their high-speed WiFi (also excellent avocado toast!). All around win since you’re in the middle of everything and don’t have to take a motorcycle to travel anywhere except Sunset beach which I highly recommend taking the motorbike just on that occasion alone. Pattaya beach is littered with garbage floating in the ocean from Malaysia, so staying on the eastern or northeastern side of the island is key. Would stay here again.

Great Place to stay in Koh Lipe”
First when we booked we didn’t ask to pick up in the pier so we just walk to the resort with it only 5 minutes walk, when we check in Mr Max said he send his staff to pick up us in the Pier. The resort really nice, the room cozy and tiny. To support No plastic in Koh Lipe they provided stainless bottles water so you can refills water in reception(I love this idea). They have sarongs for the beach in the room that they put in cute bag that you can bring during your stay to beach. You can use Kayak, snorkeling gear for free. The location is perfect you can see sunrise from the beach resort. This is perfect resort to stay in Koh Lipe

Excellent!”
We really enjoyed our stay there! Very friendly and helpful staff, the bungalows are well maintained and clean. There is a breakfast buffet that is very tasty and the food at the restaurant is good too. What I really liked is that they have reusable bottles and free water refills at all times and they really do only wash the towels only if they are left on the floor! Two thumbs up and we will absolutely come again!

Owner is super sweet”
The owner is very much hands-on and we actually ended up on the boat with her heading onto the island - weird, right? I chose this place because I wanted to do snorkeling off the beach rather than hire boats, and its location is perfect like I had thought. The best part is the free kayaks! The hotel is on the best beach and located smack in between the 2 mini islands offshore where the best reefs are. Saw soft corals and starfish over at Koh Kra to the left and some larger fish at Koh Unsen to the right. Amazing stay, especially if you get one of the rooms closer to the beach.

Nice accommodation, great staff!”
This resort is situated right on the beach with easy access to stores, restaurants and sunset beach. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a larger room and were also picked up from the ferry at no cost. The breakfast has large selection of food, delicious crepes, and made to order eggs if you like. Staff at Wapi are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area, ferry times and transportation. After two days we decided to move to another beach and hotel. We were offered a free ride to the next hotel, which was so kind.

Bottom line....you essentially get what you pay for. Great room. Cleanest room and cleanest bathroom in our entire travels to Thailand. Nice crisp duvet! Food is great! Staff attentive. Beautiful and Friendly Resort in a Spectactular Location”
My wife and I had a wonderful stay here. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms nicely decorated with everything you could want. There is free snorkel gear to use and plenty of places right off the beach to snorkel, including two small islands. The resort is situated on a a spectactular beach. Yes, there are a few long tail boats, but very few in front of the hotel. The buffet breakfast is served in a restaurant right on the beach. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we certainly stay here again.

Very Green Resort”
Love & appreciate the owner's effort of reducing waste. The bottles provided in the room is stainless steel bottle which we can refill from the reception area. The bed linen is very clean & comfortable. Separate beach towels, snorkeling sets, life jacket are provided. Buffet breakfast is excellent! Will definitely come back again with family, à plus.

We stayed in a beachfront accommodation. It was exactly as described in the advert. It was wonderful to draw back the curtains each morning and watch the sunrise from your bed or patio. The management and staff were extremely helpful with any queries or trips and lift to the ferry. Wapi Resort also encourages low use of plastics So they provide you with fresh drinking water whenever required, which is great to see.

My second visit”
This was my second stay at Wapi, and I plan on returning in the future. The bungalows are nice and clean, it's quiet, and close to the best diving school on the island. Great for a solo traveler as well.

Best location and very friendly staffs”
We chose to stay at Wapi Resort based on the reviews from fellow travelers, and it did not disappoint. The resort is well-located on the Sunrise beach with a view of Usen and Kra islands. The restaurant where breakfast is served has an amazing view. We did get up and hop out of bed to enjoy sunrise before going back to sleep lol. The resort has kayaks, snorkeling masks and fins for guests to use free of charge. They also provide you a nice beach bag with towels inside that you can bring on a snorkeling or kayaking trip. There are a number of useful items for guests to use: 1) reusable water bottles in the room and you can fill them at the reception 2) sturdy umbrellas for the tropical downpour 3) flip flops if you forget to bring one and 4) a small drying rack to dry your swimsuits. Will definitely come back and stay here again! 👍🏼😊

The location was great, near to walking street, the resort provide taxi bike for us. It is quite place, no noisy, you can sleep well. Only one thing that I don‘t like, there are a lot of boat frontage of beach on the morning and evening. But If I come back here, I will take a rest here again !!!

Great stay on Koh Lipe”
Great location, rooms were large, clean with comfortable beds and good air con. Breakfast was great, good sun loungers on the beach and free masks and snorkels. Kayaks available for hire and great massages. Perhaps not the best value for money compared with the rest of Thailand, but this seems to be same everywhere on Koh Lipe and we felt Wapi was the right balance. Would definitely recommend.

It was clean, spacious and equipped with necessities, beach bag with towels, refillable (Trash Heros stainless steel) water bottles and enough pillows. Mask and snorkel, fins and beach balls can be used free of charge throughout our stay. We love the breakfast - homemade yogurt, smoothies, bread and made-to-order eggs and bacon. This eco-friendly resort really makes our day!
