Convenience and comfort”

I stayed at Rydges Sydney Airport recently on my somewhat late return from overseas and stayed the night at this hotel, before taking a domestic flight home the next morning. The room was spotlessly clean, the bathroom and toilet modern, fresh and clean, toiletries lovely, and the bed to die for. One of the most comfortable beds I have slept in in any hotel. Soft, pillowy and you just sink into it, but not too soft. It was a dream. It's only a very short walk across the road from the international terminal, so convenience here is exceptional. The check-in was super fast, efficient, and welcoming, and I was in my room, showered and in bed an hour after touching down. No complaints at all. Breakfast was average for a hotel of this quality and price, so I thought that could have been improved. The hot food was somewhat basic, but overall acceptable. It's better to pay $20 on check-in for breakfast, rather than $28 if you just turn up. I would stay again for the comfort and convenience.

My one night stay at the Rydges Sydney Airport Hotel was very enjoyable. Check-in was extremely smooth and efficient with polite and well presented staff and no paperwork to fill in (the first time I experienced this in any hotel, whether in Australia or overseas). The hotel is very new and modern, quiet and easy to navigate around. My room was very comfortable, clean and tidy and was very relaxed and had a great night's sleep (the bed was very comfortable). The transit bus from the Sydney domestic terminal and the dedicated Rydges Sydney Hotel shuttle bus was very easy to use and the complimentary transfers was a very nice touch. I would choose to stay here again if I have transits in Sydney in the future.

After travelling for 5 1/2 weeks we had a night in Sydney before our flight home the next day and we chose Rydges Sydney airport hotel, we walked straight out of the airport and across the road to the hotel.. The convenience was absolutely perfect.. Jet lagged from a 10hr flight, and needed sleep we had the most comfortable bed and slept really well. Service at the hotel was great, the next morning we went to the Buffett breakfast which was really good, lots to choose from and all food was fresh, and drink choice was plenty. Check out was easy and simple and I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone and would totally stay here again.

easy access to international airport, clean, quiet”

I stayed the last day of Australia for 1 night before leaving the country. Absolutely I did not expect to access to the airport within 70m from the hotel!!!!! so I slept longer than staying other place, my flight was at 9am. It was definitely a great decision to stay at the hotel that night. BUT.. I didn't know they do NOT provide a free parking for the hotel guests, so parked at the airport public parking and it costs almost $70 even though with a hotel parking discount voucher for 3 hours... (I am a single traveler and my friend visited to see me that night) Sometimes a free parking is very necessary to stay at hotel... Especially, staying near by expensive parking areas. A little standard room was quite enough space for me, one thing that I missed here, some free personnel things ordering was not so good... made me so confused... such as soap, shampoo,,, They were not there people usually expect.. However, I will never forget the memory of staying at this hotel with great hospitality, clean & quiet place! If I have one more chance to stay in Australia, I will definitely choose this place for my last day of Sydney! Thank you for making my great memories with your kind hospitality, Rydges! ★★★★★

Steps away from Sydney International Airport ”

If you're an international traveler looking to fly out of Sydney International Airport in the wee hours of the morning or flying into Sydney late at night, then the Rydges Sydney Airport will provide a comfortable night's accommodation. The room was pretty decently sized and well appointed with a big comfortable bed, large TV and hot shower. Picked it because it was literally a few steps away from the International Airport as I had a flight leaving at noon the next day. It proved to be the right call as I boarded my flight completely refreshed and relax after checking in just the night before after having maximized my last day visiting the city.

The Sydney Rydges Airport hotel is only 100 meters from the airport check-in area. We had a good stay, a quiet sleep, and an efficient check-out at the hotel, then pushed our luggage in available trolleys the 100 meters to the airport check-in counters. I should add that our car return was just a few meters from the hotel's back door. We've never stayed in such a convenient hotel location for an easy transfer from hotel to airport check-in. It was a great experience!

Sydney"s Best Airport Hotel”

except for my last stay where i was issued a 24 hour dark room facing the car park building (218?) everything about Rydges Sydney Airport are superb. Love it. Rydges need to be promoted more. Giving special discounts occasionally for regular guests would be great. Rydges also should consider providing shuttle buses/transport for its guests moving from/to domestic/international airports as well as regular transports to/from city.

This is an unpretentious hotel, focussed on meeting the needs of travellers, which is does seamlessly. The beds are superbly comfortable, the meals are good value for money and the staff go out of their way to assist airline passengers who are lost or confused! Having previously stayed at 5 star hotels in the Sydney airport vicinity, my advice would be to stay at Rydges and not waste your money and time elsewhere.

We stay overnight at Rydges Sydney Airport Hotel the night before flying. this way we do not have to worry about traffic or anything else. Wake up in the morning and walk over to the terminal and Check in. Easy. Staff ande rooms excellent.

Location,location,location ”

Our stay was great, just what we needed after getting of a 10 hr flight from Hawaii and to get our connecting flight to Perth the next morning. Location was great as we didn't want to travel far from the airport and the room was very quiet considering it was facing the airport. The buffet breakfeast, which was included in the price, was a good way to start the day. Also the availability of the Rydges free shuttle bus from the International Airport/ hotel to the Domestic Airport saved us a lot of hassle trying to organise a taxi or other means of transport. Would definitely stay there again for an overnight stay between international and domestic connecting flights.

Great to be back in Australia”

After being in Asia for three weeks it was great to be in a clean hotel with perfect facilities. It was easy with our rolling luggage to walk to the hotel from the international airport to the hotel. It was also easy when leaving to get the Rydges free transfer pass for the T bus to the domestic airport. We tried all the bars and restaurants and found them reasonably priced, the food good and the staff friendly and helpful. After a long flight this is the only place to stay overnight if you are flying the next day. If you are a plane buff there is no better place to enjoy a beer and watch the working of the airport.

The Sydney airport Rydges is extremely convenient for morning flights leaving Australia. A short walk from the Departures check in area, it makes it easy to ensure timely check in and drop off of luggage. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and staff and friendly and helpful.

Brilliant”

I travel regularly between Thailand and Sydney and have stayed overnight everytime prior to my flight back to Thailand. I wake up refreshed and rested. Walk across the road, check my bags and get my boarding pass then return to my room for a small nap. The rooms are fantastic. No stress flying! No traffic problems. No worries. This trip, I was offered a secret Sunday which I took. It included a breakfast. Brilliant offer. The selection was awesome, food hot, choices delicious and the coffee and juices were great! Parking my Bayswater rental car o'night in P7 was also discounted by 50%. Bloody Brilliant! I also enjoyed the restaurant for dinner and had the pork belly. What an orgasmic choice. Folks you can't go wrong with Rydges at the International. Perfect location, great service, awesome rooms and delicious food. Well done staff and management.

Perfect quiet place before flight ”

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. Short walk with luggage to the International terminal (free shuttle to domestic) but room was wonderfully quiet (triple glazed??)Restaurant meals as good as anywhere in Sydney and much better than airport hotels in Melbourne. I had to change the booking due to medical reasons and even though non changeable/refundable they changed it with no charge! And more a late checkout - wonderful customer service and consideration from a busy hotel. We will stay here every time we fly out of Sydney - this place is a gem. PS free unlimited WiFi as well.

Easy-peezy and Rydgy-didge!”

We loved it! We are aged pensioners from the bush (Coonabarabran)and felt a little intimidated by the thought of a big-charging centralized city hotel. Happily we received a very fair discount, felt thoroughly spoiled by the room and surroundings, and thought the staff were wonderfully human. We were scheduled on an early flight. Forget the anxiety and the valium!If we had the money we would have been happy to pay twice the price just for the convenience and easy access to both parking and the airport. Thank you Rydges!

Helpful nu fuss stay at the most convenient hotel ”

From an email query prior to arrival to the helpful staff who off-loaded the car and took the bags to our room whilst we topped the fuel up and returned the vehicle just behind the hotel, all worked so simply and perfectly. The restaurant breakfasts were good, most of what you may wish for and evening dining was fairly priced and ok if not exceptional quality.Without baggage the route to Sydney centre was easy enough, avoiding the airport transit fees. Definitely will choose again on next trip to Sydney.

Great for short transit”

I am glad that i booked a night at Rydges. The hotel is just 5 minutes away from the arrival hall of the International terminal, which is great for long transit hours (mine was ~14 hrs). The room was clean, spacious and great for shower and a quick rest before the next flight out. I will definitely book this hotel again if I were to transit at Sydney for long hours.

This is an ideal hotel for travelers catching an early flight out of Sydney airport. The room is clean and within walking distance to airport departure hall. If you are returning rental car, the rental car parking area is linked to the entrance of the hotel. Would recommend this hotel for transiting passengers or passengers on early morning flight out of Sydney.

Great last night in Syd!”

Bought too much during my stay and had an early flight, figured it's best to get the luggage nearby the hotel -which i didnt regret, and head back to CBD for dinner. Didn't regret it at all! Checked in my luggage with absolutely no hassle at the airport and returned to the hotel to pack up and had breakfast (suggested by Rachel at the reception actually-great idea!) Wish I used more of the facilities though, was really impressed with the setup-very much like W hotel, ensuring that your stay is well taken care of. Hope I will have a chance to stay at a Rydge hotel again!
