Absolutely amazing experience all round”
I love this hotel! Everything was absolutely fantastic. The room is spacious and comfortable with separate toilet and bath/shower. Most importantly, there is a beautiful direct view of Mount Fuji right outside our room window! Heard that it is one of the very few rooms which offers this view hence we were very lucky (I did request this view). You can tell that this hotel has some age and the decor is a bit dated but this should not detract from the overall positive experience. I also highly recommend the private onsen. I tried all the baths available (B1, L7 and private) and I think the private onsen is well worth the price. You get a large room with onsen and relaxing outdoor area facing the lake plus a whole bathing and makeup area for 50 min. The dinner held in a private dining room was very tasty (though not outstanding) with many courses. Breakfast was a grand affair as well. All in all, the stay was definitely an amazing experience and my mum and I enjoyed ourselves very much.

Location of hotel just in front of Lake Kawaguchiko and next to bus stop number 8 or you can walk from station just 10 mins also hotel and service to pick you up after 14.00. Staff very friendly and helpful most of them can speak English very well . The room so big and can see Mt Fuji from your room . Also Onsen room can see all the view and and all facilities that you need in there

Outstanding experience! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. As it was not a busy time of year they upgraded our room for free, with an amazing view of the lake. The location of the hotel was great, right on the lake front with with plenty to do around it. Breakfast was delicious and had many options on what to eat.

Fantastic hotel with amazing service and traditional food”
Really clean and well decorated Ryokan Inna traditional Japanese style. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The meals, although we didn't like every dish were a fascinating experience for us, our first time having this style of meal. The onsens were lovely, although we could only stand the heat for 5-10 minutes. Just 5 mins walk away from the cable car up to an amazing view of mount Fuji.

Great place to stay and will come back next time ”
Traveling with few of my friends together and it was our first time visiting Mt. Fuji Area. The accommodation has a very nice view of the lake and we both booked for the private Onsen bath on the balcony. So we can take a hot onsen anytime we want. Staff were so helpful and always prepare the beds for us on time. And the breakfast were included in the booking and the food was amazing!! Really enjoy the time of stay and will strongly recommend to other friends too.

Great Ryokan and Onsen”
I love this ryokan and their Onsen, especially the outdoor one. Walking distance from Kawaguchiko Station or take the sightseeing bus and alight at bus stop no.8. Dinner is not to my liking though, but they were served beautifully. Breakfast is great. Will definitely come back again for their onsen.

I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Kasuitei - Ohya. They were constantly looking out for me - ready to drive me anywhere, answering many questions in email timely before the visit, advice on what to do. Dinner, breakfast, overall vibe of the hotel wonderful. The décor is a touch dated, but, it actually added to the appeal of the place - intimate and homey. My wife and girls will always have fond memories of Mt. Fuji thanks to the staff at Kasuitei - Ohya.

Best ryokan we stayed at in Japan ”
The staff were so obliging and helpful throughout our stay. The room was nice, we paid for a mountain view and it was sensational when the cloud lifted and we woke to a full view of Mount Fuji. It was much more relaxed than other ryokans we stayed out, which was better. Nice baths both upstairs and downstairs, a little dated but did not detract from the place.

Ryokan Kasuitei Ohya”
It was great that Ryokan Kasuitei - Ohya arranged complimentary transfers from the local Kawaguchiko train station. The staff were very helpful and polite. The Japanese breakfast was amazing and so was the Kaiseki dinner. The Ryokan has 2 good and clean onsen which we enjoyed very much. The roof onsen has a view to Lake Kawaguchiko which was spectacular and the corridor leading to the onsen has a view to Mt Fuji. Overall the family enjoyed the stay at the ryokan.

Staying in this ryokan giving us new experience how to live in Japanese way, from sleep in tatami, take a bath in onsen and breakfast! My family enjoyed stay here and definitely would love to comeback.

Due to the flight delay, we can only stay one night in the hotel. We really appreciated the staff delivering excellent services and the room was tidy and with fuji mountain view. The hot spring was also good and comfortable.
