2-3 minutes walk from Toba station. 5 minutes walk from a very good restaurant called Sazanami. 5-10 minutes walk from Toba aquarium and The pearl island. 15 minutes walk to the jetty. So location it is perfect! The room is clean and spacious. They serve nice traditional breakfast and dinner too. The only drawback is that their staff can’t really speak much English but they are very friendly and helpful though! Will definitely stay here again next time!

We had a wonderful time at ryokan. The grounds were beautiful, with fresh green tea burning as incense in our comfortable room, the food was displayed nicely and tasted fresh and local. The staff was accommodating and made sure we had a map of the area as we explored. We would definitely return to this hot spring resort.

Superb service, and excellent location”
It’s very near to Toba subway. It’s an old Ryokan but it gives us a homely feeling and the service was really, really superb. The elderly Uncle and Aunty was really nice and even the younger staff the next morning was truly helpful. Highly recommended. Will recommend to friends and family and will come back to stay in this hotel again the next time I come to Toba.

A good and nice hotel”
The hotel is just 2-3 minutes walk from Toba train station. The hotel a bit old, but it is not bad. Staffs are very friendly. The breakfast and dinner are amazing, lobster for dinner :). And it is in room dining :). The only negative point there is no wifi.

Disappointing”
We stayed just 1 night at this old ryokan. When you enter the building it feels like you back in 80th. I remember Japan like this 25 years ago. The stuff speaks only in japanese - which I don't see as a problem, with google translator we always understand each other :-) Our room had train station view so we hear every train passing by. Also in my reservation I asked for non-smoking room but we have got smoking- it was so smelly ....bleh. The hot bath downstairs was great but too hot for me. I wouldn't go back there. We picked the hotel because it was the cheapest option in this area (we changed our planes and booked it just day before) It has absolutely no value for the money we payed. Wifi only at the smelly reception.

Good sized room but overpriced. Nice onsen. The building has a bit of 'concrete cancer'. Room furnishings were torn. No wifi. No breakfast included

Great location, a little old but clean hotel for short stay in Toba”
Less than 5min walk from JR station, nice after traveling extensively in Japan, and your feet is sore. My room has views to the Toba bay and the train station, and you can still hear the trains. I also think the tatami room is slightly bigger than normal. Across the street, there are these simple places offering fresh seafood meals, ideal for trying the seafood in Toba.

Hotel located beside Toba rail station. Just few mins walking time between station and hotel. Transitional Japanese style room with wile view of sea. Nice price and nice staffs. Highly recommended this hotel if any one go to Toba.

Locates right next to Toba train station. The place shows its age, but it is still in good condition. Staff r really helpful, tho we dont speak Japanese, they tried their best to assist us in every ways. Value for money.

The hotel is outdated, lobby is a bit dim but the room is so spacious and very clean. The hotspring is also not crowded. Location is walking distance to the Toba train and bus station and ferry terminal.

A bayside Japanese style hotel offering tranquil and nice stay in experience. Quality and dekicious Japanese meals, dinner with Ise Lobster, Quality beef and fresh sashimi and breakfast included. Friendly and helpful staff. Good choice.

Worse Ryokan quality in Japan I ever see”
The only and only good thing is the location near the public transport. Other than that, the Ryokan is so dirty in the toilet, the floor and the towel in the room. There is no service in this Ryokan at all. They only provide a storage shelf in the reception for your luggage before check-in with your own risk. But Japan is safe country, it is alright to leave your luggage there. They don't have a water kettle in the room but a small hot water jar. Overall, the price I paid for the room is the same as I had in a 4.5 star hotel in Wakayama, it is not worth at all.

We had a Japanese style rooms with sea view. Large and spacious but the hotel itself looks old. 3 parking lots available. The hotel is near to train station and pearl island. Few eating places open and most close by 8:30 pm. Quite quiet around the hotel at night.
