Amazing food, bad service. 食事美味しかったんですが、サービスが悪い”

The customer service is really lacking here at the main reception and in the onsen in particular where the staff are out and out rude. Made us walk back to the hotel to pick up our onsen ticket, we were clearly staying at the ryokan isn't the key enough?! Shame as the service in the room and the food was phenomenal. A true adventure in local Japanese cuisine and the dassai sake is sold here which I'd highly recommend. The outside onsen is very nice and the water is so soothing, shame about attitude of the people that work there. Btw I've stayed at quite a few Ryokan's so am familiar with bathing etiquette. No WiFi and expensive, but the food and onsen are great.
