"the best hotel i've stayed at this time in Hokkaido! I took the bus to the bus terminal and the staff came to pick us up. A camping site is quite close with shuttle bus, spend a adventurous night there. The hot spring area is fabulous! all kinds of massage pools and high end after services (with full range of lotion and cream). The buffet dinner is UNBELIEVABLE! all kinds of high end seafood, king crab, salmon, deer, desert, numerous of them and even matsutake are within the buffet! staffs are very helpful and welcoming, helped me fixed my selfie stick and welcoming in dinner reception. Breakfast is fab as well. Easy for any agent to pick up and send off. Have recommended to many friends! "

"My husband and I had a great time staying in Shiretoko Grand Hotel Kitakobushi even though we only stayed there for a night. We went there during end Feb and the view from the hotel was fabulous! The hotel buffet spread (dinner & breakfast) was delicious and fresh. We regretted for not planning a 2 nights trip at Shiretoko as there are a lot of activities (at own expense) which we are not able to participate (such as specialized drift ice tour where you are given a wetsuit and wade through the icy water). The view from their outdoor onsen was as shown in the Agoda website...no kidding! Be prepared to travel for at least 1 hr on bus from the Shiretoko-Shari train station to Utoro Onsen bus terminal..but the view along the bus ride is magnificent! "

"The hotel is on a hill and has nice views of the area. I had very nice big room, the onsen was nice and the there was a nice variety of foods for breakfast and dinner. However you have to walk up hill from the shops and the bus terminal. The hotel did however provide pickup from the bus terminal. The bus to Shari and Abashari stops at this hotel. The level of English of staff was limited but they were patient and understanding."
